  ·         Remember the updates you have installed?

  I suggest you to check the status of the disk in disk management. To so proceed as follows:

  a. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

  b. open computer management by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  (c) in the Navigation pane, click disk management.

  You can change the drive letter of the drive and see if that fixes the problem.

  After just 14 months on my Tecra battery appears to be dead. I said 'just' because of, I got Toshiba Satellite and after 2 years of daily work, on Satellite battery lasted longer than on Tecra Tecra,!

  In any case, I really tried to keep the battery in good shape, that is why, at least once a week, I plugged the power cord off and Tecra to run on battery, just to let the battery, at least once a week completely empty left and then recharged.

  But he was evidently just wasting time, because of, the battery now lasts 7-8 minutes!

  The question is: what is the time 6/12/xx months? Toshiba ensures the battery will last as it should when the computer is new?

  As far as I know EACH laptop manufacturing offers only _one year warranty for the battery packs_.
  Why? Because it s nothing unusual that the battery would start to lose own performance after a period of use.

  AFAIK after over 500 times of loading/unloading procedures, the battery will begin to lose performance.
  This means reduces the battery life and someday you need to replace.

  My computer laptop doesn t work on battery power. The power of the battery takes about 2 min same it s fully charged. I know that I should replace, but I use this laptop as desktop Pc. It s always plugged in.

  I had the SSD on my M5 fail after about 7 months. Acer it replaced under warranty, but it has just failed again one month out of warranty. So 2 doesn't have a SSD in 13 months. Tech support said there is nothing they can do, but take care to have a replacement mounted. This doesn't seem fair to me. Not all happy.

  all this seems really strange...
  When you say the two colleges to work on the same project (using the same central repository for the management of versions), I recommend the following steps for you.
  1 rename all the workspace folder in the files that are related to the request system
  2. soft extraction of copies of the workspaces that you renamed in step
  3 recompile all the projects in the correct order (of their dependencies)
  4. check if the application works
  5a. If so, you can delete Workspaces renamed in step 1. If you want to know exactly what happened, you can compare the new with the renamed workspace.
  5 b. remove the DefaultDomain file in the system11.1.1.5.xxxxx folder, and then restart jdev. Next time you start the application the DefaultDomain will be recreated. I hope that the app works now.
  5BC. If it still does not remove the folder system11.1.1.5.xxxx integer and hope.
  5BCD. If this still does not work, well delete jdev and resinstall is scheduled (then you buy a new pc :))

  This is my 3rd phone dying, Sony VAIO = mothercard dead after 1.2 years, Fujitsu Amilo xi = exploded after 3 years and now Toshiba HD after 8 months.

  900EUR up to 1600EUR, I do not see significant resistance of one of these models, Sony was the badest ever in terms of longevity of the video card and compatibility (unplayable games after 2 months, no update of the driver), keyboard 'paint' was a mess with deterioration after fews month compared to Fujitsu and Toshiba (no points). Toshiba L670 most recent, was the best in terms of game compatibility.

  What should do? Stop buying the laptop or use only fews hours a day with a PC on top?
  For time beeing I can't afford to have a PC + a computer laptop that I'm unemployed, surviving with 10EUR per day.
  time to find a new job.

  Despite this, I managed to buy the new book of the cooler Zelman for my Toshiba 40/50EUR all about, but it did not help apparently.

  In my opinion the answer is clear: no chance.

  In any case, don t think too much on the use of the laptop. Cell phone is designed to operate for a long period, then there is no reason to reduce the time to use on your Toshi.
  I use my laptop to work on a daily basis and it works at least 10 hours a day, sometimes one night too many.
  Just be careful that your laptop is placed on the desktop, the cooling fans must not be blocked by what it is.

  Is it possible to resurrect a dead battery that does not too fast? This is the chip that has the problem.

  I bought a second battery from Amazon to 'save' my original battery that is sent into the machine to purchase end of October 2011. I have a 427637U who had an mSATA and SSD 256 added to the chassis. HD spinning in the optical Bay. Usual stuff, right? I knew it was only a chance that it was really new - as announced. Everything seemed to go well with this new battery, but there is one month, he seems to have stopped at 49% load or so actually wouldn't put the computer later.

  I ran the battery reminder ID software and it returns a message 'product not covered '. I have Amazon to help me get something in return to the seller of the second battery.

  I ran the Lenovo Power Manager software "battery reset" routine, but no help. The power manager says there is a battery error and confirms that it does not power the laptop. The stats don't shout to zero voltage, etc.

  I could have done this happens because once when the laptop was on AC and I took out the battery to swap to the other unit - I've noticed a real hiccup in the notifications area. I wish I could remember exactly what I saw.

  I hope Monday brings Word willl retailer swap out, but I doubt it. I hope someone here has an idea (I * has * a bunch of different research... query strings)

  Finally, the Amazon seller responded with a request that I try once more to revive the battery through a series of restarts with and without the failed unit. To their credit, they promised a replacement in the event that the process did not work (which was the result). So, I'm going to get some kind of replacement.

  The seller was an operation called "E-Mall. Amazon was great on stating that they thought I should have relief.

  I looked back to the labelling. Certainly looks like the real thing. As a reminder, it was apparently new in November 2013. I'll post again if they don't follow through.

• FM keeps thinking that I have only a trial version

  I upgraded to FM 11 more than a year ago, just after its release. Now, whenever I open it, it thinks that I'm working on a trial version and invites me to 'continue the trial', 'buy', etc. This maddening behavior just started recently when I bought the creative cloud, even if the FM is not part of this package. No idea how to get rid of this annoying message?

  IIRC, the "Buy" option allows you to enter the serial number. Try this route to re - enter your serial number of FM. If this does not work, then a re-installation complete (after uninstaling) may be the next step. As a last resort, you will need to contact Technical Support.
