I tried to remove and reinstall Lightroom 5 and have the same problems. I was chatting last night and got a reinstall. This me the shortcut is broken and when I open it directly it asks me my serial number. I did that last night.

  I think you have a upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro version, in this case it will ask for the serial number of the previous version of qualification.

  I downloaded CS6 Master Collection and whenever I open a program, it continues to ask me my serial number. I entered it the first two times and everything seems to work very well, but is there something I should do or can I disable this message somehow?

  FYI, there took more than 30 minutes the agent to customer that initially, I spoke to climb the case.   As you confirmed Muse request the serial number at the launch. Most of the time this happens because of Hosts file on the computer.

  Please go ahead and rename the hosts file on your computer and you should be all set. Here are the steps for MAC and Windows.

  Windows:

  1. navigate to the following location.  C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc

  2. rename the "Hosts" file to "hostsold".

  3 restart Muse and sign in using your Adobe ID, you should be all set.

  MAC:

  1. go in the Finder > go > go to folder

  2. type / etc and press return

  3 Rename the "Hosts" file to "hostsold".

  4 restart Muse and sign with your Adobe ID, you should be all set.
