  OK - I feel really stupid, and after several hours of trying to fix it myself I feel even more stupid.

  A couple of days, I decided to remove some programs on my computer that it seemed that I didn't need. I deleted 2 or 3 - everything the computer I said "rarely used". I thought I might as well get rid of a few things that might slow me down. And no, I don't remember the names of those that I deleted.

  Now - a few days later I noticed I have no sound - not the startup music, no itunes, no sound with video. Nothing. All my strings are tight and my speakers are on. I tried to reset my computer to a week ago, but he said that there are no changes. I went a month ago and he said the same.   The driver is big enough, I would say save to disk, and then run the installation program.  You could do a right click on the link here, select "Save as", then download the file.  Depending on your internet speed, it make take some time downloading.  If it doesn't for you please specify exactly what is happening when you try to download the file, and any error messages see you.
