I upgraded to lightroom 5 that I paid in December and last week it stopped access to develop the module saying that my trial ended.
I had one bought an upgrade to lightroom 5 back in December and last week it disabled my use develop module saying my trial has expired. On my account it says that I bought the upgrade and have a serial number. It gives me an opportunity to enter the serial number anywhere.

You must go to the Edit menu > Preferences in Lightroom > Performance > uncheck 'use graphics processor' and restart Lightroom, and check again.

Lightroom displays no image to develop the module
I just downloaded the new Lightroom and when in the develop module, I just get a blue screen. When I select before and after develop, I get picture on L and blue screen on R.

It is a nuisance GPU. Update your GPU drivers from the manufacturers Web site.
In the meantime, disabling "Use Graphics Processor" (Preferences > Performance), should help to load the module development.

In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".
You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".
Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

Develop the module problem after upgrade to LR6
I upgraded from LR4.4 to 6, but had made a stop at 5.7 on the way. I have improved the catalog to v5. Now in LR6, that I bought at the end of the day, photos in the develop module are corrupt. I can see them but are mainly grey with a few colourful highlights. Don't know if it's a question of catalog or how to fix. All files seem to be affected!

Please turn off the graphics processor in the Lightroom preferences.
Open Lightroom
Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu
Click the performance tab
Deselect the graphics processor
Restart Lightroom

Lightroom CC expired - develop the module does not
Hi, I was using a trial of Lightroom CC on my Mac, and it expired today, so I bought an annual subscription. After you download the update of Lightroom CC on my Mac, disconnection and signing back with my Adobe ID, the development module still does not work and I wonder about buying a subscription...

How can I get my Mac to recognize that I paid for a subscription?

Thank you for getting back to me Tanuj, but the next day the same thing is going on, so I called the Adobe Support. The agent told me edit the file hosts on my Mac and everything was good. The Lightroom CC button changed from 'Trial over' to 'open '. Everything is good now...

Please go to the preferences > performance and uncheck the option "use graphics processor.

I have Lightroom 6.1. I have a catalog of ~ 35 000 photos. With my most recent import of a DSLR Nikon raw files, I'll develop and edit and try to delete some files that I don't want. The minute I try to delete a file, the program crashes and no unhang itself until I close the program and restart. I tried the same thing several times with different images and get the same result, most of the time. In addition, it also pretty regularly just hangs trying to get into the develop module, after being in the library module. It happened at a point of pure frustration because it actually eliminated my being able to do anything other than look at the imported pictures. Anyone with a similar problem? I had the same problem with 6.0 recently. I have a computer standard win 8.1 with 8 MB of ram. Have never had a problem with Lightroom and found that it is a stable program as a whole so far.
