I used LR for several years. I had to re - install on a new computer. I imported a few photos from a card. They show in the library module. But when I click on to edit all I get is a blue screen. No pictures. What is going on?

  Glad you got it work & you are the very welcome, but some tips to follow in order to avoid this in the future, if you don't mind.

  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  Those who are not of the modules, they are produced by what I assume is the module recommended products. Depending on how this module is implemented it will use will be list or the backup from the list.

  In which window you find "Tools"? To run under Vista Disk Defragmenter, I would choose to start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.

  What is the exact error message when you try to run Disk Defragmenter?

  Is the hard drive, a conventional or solid state drive?

  I felt that it is possible to continue to use previous versions of Adobe applications and then the train of thought, I could simply re-install everything what I had originally! (Maybe my drive is faulty).
