I've owned Adobe CS Master Collection since CS3. Currently, I run CS6 and can't update my software online. I run on a MacBook Pro retina mid 2012, 16 GB RAM, SSD, with the Mavericks 10.9

Can you help me?

Thank you

Bob

It seems that Adobe has reached the end of the line even by which they entered "desktop publishing." The 'right answer', it seems that you can not update of the CS6 use manual update. CS6 and, on the other hand, the idea of owning your own software and your files is no longer supported.

Who doesn't remember the free versions of InDesign, we all received, even if Adobe has criticized the "bad old Quark" for overcharging their customers. No doubt that Quark was bad (and stupid - in retrospect). However, cloud 'Creative' new to Adobe is even worse than the Quarks value - rent you the software and don't have access to your own work while you pay the rent. We really speak to each other these questions on a Forum depopulated by Adobe? A few moments ago somebody assigned the label of "Right answer" to the first inadequate answer to my question. So now we compete with each other to see who can give the most 'popular' answer in the absence of adequate customer support?

  • MacBook Pro 13 "(mid-2012) do not recognize all internal HDD or SSD

Hello, I have this very annoying problem with my Macbook Pro 13 "mid-2012.

Two days ago he suddenly shows the ""folder with a question mark gray ' screen. " Reading online, I saw that many have had this problem in the past and that usually to fix just do this:

-Restart the Mac, press Cmd + R, then the utility disk, check and repair the drive.

I tried, but there was any Macintosh HD. There is rather a "disk0' with a score of"Mac OS X Base System.

I tried also this, without success:

-Remove the HARD drive and using an "all in 1 HDD Docking Station" try opening the hard drive of another Mac. It says that can not open the disk but I can erase it (did not, I still hope to recover data in the future with some software).

-I already upgrade my Macbook Pro with an SSD, thinking about my drive HARD has been compromised, I bought a Samsung SSD 750 EVO (250 GB) and I replaced the HARD drive.

-J' have formatted the SSD format "Mac OS X Extended (journaled)" and, from another Mac, created a boot USB with El Capitan installer disc.

Then, with the SSD instead of HARD drive, I did all these things:

-Start the Mac, press Option, start the USB key. But no "Macintosh SSD" has been shown when comes to decide where to install El Capitan.

At this point, I was very confused and tried the last chance:

-Start the mac without internal drive but with the SSD in the docking station. Boot from USB and try to install El Capitan on the SSD. And it worked!

But stil does not work when I put the SSD inside the Macbook. Is possible whether the Sata cable who, from one day to the other, stop working?

    PS:

I tried also Reset of the MSC and the Apple Hardware Test extended, giving "No problem found".

I also tried to unplug the Sata cable connectors and clean the cable with a handkerchief, then incredibly SSD Macintosh appeared at the start of the USB, but installation failed at some point. And next time, I tried the SSD disappeared again.

This problem is driving me crazy and I hope someone can help with suggestions. Thank you

  • MacBook Pro retina 2015 randomly freezes when try to watch the video

    Hi all

I bought a MacBook Pro Retina early 2015 model and is currently under OS X 10.11.4. From day one, it has been an inconsistent issue where my Mac everything would freeze whenever I try to play a video. This moved not always so I thought that this was a small issue that would have been fixed with an update. Soon enough, earlier today, it's the same thing, whole frozen Mac (trackpad is more clicks, keyboard is unresponsive and screen is frozen) when I tried to play a video on FaceBook. I have tried to disable flash, use Chrome or other browsers, did a new install of OS X El Capitan and OS X Yosemite, but it did nothing.

Any possible suggestions as to what is happening? I was going to take in inspection under the guarantee, but want to make sure before doing so because it is so inconsistent and happens randomly.

    Thank you.

The problem may be caused by a bug in OS X, triggered by "Flash Player."

If Flash is installed and that you did not already, please update to the latest version by opening the Flash Player pane in system preferences and selecting the updates tab.

If Flash is already up to date, or if the update does not resolve the problem, open Safari preferences window and select the Security tab uncheck the box marked

    Enable Plug-ins

See if there is an improvement.

You can watch videos on YouTube and other sites without using Flash by installing the extension "ClickToFlash" or "ClickToPlugin' Safari. This isn't an endorsement. You should always do your own research to determine the safety and effectiveness of any third-party software before using it.

Any suggestions on how to download this or other options?

  • Adobe CS5 Master Collection: Digital Setup error

    Hello community,

I recently bought an iMac (late 2015) running OS X El Capitan and wanted to install my already purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection on this subject. The iMac doesn't have a CD drive, so I wanted to do this digitally. I downloaded the file DMG source here: Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

Once I have finished downloading, I run the DMG file and it opens the installer. I double click on it and it opens a window with 4 files (3 files, 1 install file): deploy, install, package, payloads.

As I am not familiar with these files, I am aware that I need to run the file "install". When I do, I get the error message below.

'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the image.

'Install' is on the disk image

"MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.dmg" Google Chrome downloaded this drive today at 05:07 from trials2.adobe.com.

I have two options, "Cancel" or "Eject the Disk Image". I don't know what to do at this point. This product is currently installed on my MacBook Pro 17 "(mi-2010) via the installation of disc with the serial number that are associated with."

Need advice. Please and thank you.

Check the file downloaded to ensure that its size matches the size expected.

You can also copy the contents of the drive on your old computer to a USB stick and transfer that stick to your imac and install from this usb key.

  • Adobe CS5 Master Collection requirements - a mistake?

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/creativesuite/MasterCollection

I am a student who bought Adobe CS5 Master Collection a few weeks back.

Before you buy the product, I looked at the system requirements at the link above.

I thought: "Cool!" It is not too intense, I have enough money to build a computer with these system requirements. »

I went and bought Adobe CS5 Master Collection, all exacerbated to the maximum and ready get a computer for her, excited to start learning program.

Looking at different options around the plug, in Adobe link above, I started to ask questions, and soon I was advised by many users that these specifications does for Adobe CS5 Master Collection.

Looking at my budget, by comparing it to the suggested builds in this Forum, I am depressed now, because the cheapest Budget build is way out of my budget range.

I feel disappointed, because I bought a program with confidence that Adobe has provided these system requirements SO THAT the program can work very well on these specifications.

    So my question:

WHY are the requirements of the system, the link above, 2 GB of RAM (4 or more recommended) and Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Phenom II, if there are so many warnings on the other forums that these specifications be enough? (Budget build in this Forum suggests a quad core and 8 GB RAM)

This means that had bought a computer goes on the specifications provided in the link to Adobe above, say a Core 2 Duo and 4 GB of RAM, I can could NOT begin gently, learn and work with Adobe CS5 Master Collection?

Your message has put additional pressure on the fact that article. I'll write this shortly, but here's a preview (without explanatory notes):

Click on the image to enlarge.

Now, this raises the question of what is easy, intermediate and difficult? I look carefully, but for now use this:

    1. easy is DV and HDV

    2. intermediate is P2, XDCAM, and Cineform

    3. difficult is AVCHD, RED and DSLR

There are a number of formats that are not as clearly classified by category, but in general, the more compressed the material is, it becomes more difficult. What means uncompressed is easy? Not really, it's easy on the CPU, but it's hard on the disk I/o system and memory. There are too many variables in play just say X is easy and there is difficult.

For beginners, there is a 'Panorama' tab at the top of the hardware forum, leading to a number of articles that may be useful.

In addition, there is the Référence PPBM5 which can be very informative as well. Just take a look.

  • With the Mavericks 2009 MBP starts, won't back up

I have a MacBook Pro for mid-2009 Mavericks running (slowly). Two days ago, he froze and wouldn't respond. I let it rest awhile and then held down the power button. When I turned it back on, he got on the gray apple screen and then the loading wheel would run indefinitely. I close it then once again, but nothing helped. I looked online and found Linc Davis's response:

MacBook pro won't start.  Stuck on apple with spinning logo.

Under notice here, I deleted an external HD started in recovery mode (which took awhile, but ends by occurred) and the utility disk and from there tried to transfer the partition Go Macintosh HD 499.11 the 500.11 GB Toshiba HD to a slightly larger partition of my HDD external newly restructured. I waited a bit (he told me that I had 1 day and 8 hours continuously without change), and then he gave a "input/output error" and stopped trying. I have since stopped, not wanting to take the risk of any action without advice by Prime.

I have data on that disc that I don't have in my last backup and would like to save as much as possible. What are my options? What should I try next?

If you have another Mac available, I suggest that you try the target disk mode:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201462

Or out the HARD drive, install it in a closed enclosure and connect it to another Mac and see if you can access your files.

If no success, the you must decide if you want to try the data recovery software available on the Internet.  It is not free.

    Ciao.

  • Connection Officejet 6100 to Wifi with the Mavericks

I have Mac OS 10.9.2 (Mavericks) and have installed all available updates.  I just bought a HP Officejet 6100.  The configuration software supplied with the printer does not work on the Mavericks.  I can use the printer via USB, but have no idea how to do to connect the printer to my wifi network.  All the instructions I found point using the diskette supplied with the printer (not compatible with the Mavericks) or assume that I already connected the printer to my network wifi (which is the problem that I am trying to solve).

I had HP products in the past and if it is connected to the network, but it supports WPS and has a touchscreen user interface.  This printer does not seem to be supported.  The wifi light just keeps blinking.

I don't like on ePrint, etc..  I want just the printer connected to my wifi so I can print from any number of computers on this network.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

It wasn't very nice, that we were just trying to help.  Don't tell you specifically that your router has WPS.

On your printer, press and hold the button wireless for 3 seconds.  Within 2 minutes, press the the router WPS button.

Wait about 2 minutes. If the printer connect successfully, the wireless light will stop blinking but stays on.

From there, you can connect your printer on your Mac:

-Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and then beside the dropdown 'Use', select the model of the printer (not AirPrint). Wait for the 'Add' button becomes available. Until it clicks.

I just installed Mavericks on my iMac.  Printing with my LaserJet M1319f MFP is ok but scanning with HP Director does not work.  I repaired permissions and reset the printer.  It still does not.  Any ideas?

HP Director is not compatible with the Mavericks, I fear that scanning is no longer supported on the latest version of OS X from 10.6:
