  Yes, this will be fixed in the next update.

  Until then, you can go back to Lightroom 6.1.1 if you need to have the same workflow

I also downloaded a file of installation stand alone for 24.4.0 and reinstalled without result. Obviously a bug in 24.4.0.

  Go back to the BIOS and the BIOS to its default values and restart.  See if get you your audio files.

  Try reinstalling the audio driver, if it does not work.

  Try a hard reset of the laptop.
