I've updated my macbookpro (2010) snow leopard at elcapitan but when I restart it does not complete the installation then is no longer able to use it. Help?

I've updated my macbookpro (2010) snow leopard at elcapitan but when I restart it does not complete the installation then is no longer able to use it.

I tried the following:

1 start with the R command and using disk utility that did say he had problems but then appear all ok after completing.

2 tried the Verbose mode and did not work

3. I tried command mode S did not.

4. tried to zap the pram was not working.

5 a couple other things that I had read, but nothing helped.

It starts up and the line begins to show the computer made his 'thing', but gets stuck about 3/4 quarters of and goes no further. Would appreciate any suggestions.

PS: also tried boot from the original disks as well, but no luck.

You said "PS: also starting from the original disks tried both but no luck."

Exactly what happened when you tried?

Have you tried formatting the HD?

Have you started the installation of SL?

You probably should have updated to 10.5.8 first.

    Hello

Red triangle with an exclamation point means that there is no custom recovery installed.
Probably the system or recovery has been changed in the past, and this is the reason for your question.

Not very well if you'll be able to fix it try to reset the Android to the factory settings.
Try to pressing and holding the power button / stop and the volume up button would display the menu where you could chose the factory reset

  • Cannot complete the Installation of Snow Leopard on MBP 2009

Hello! just got a 2009 MBP, it ran very nice El Capitan, but I decided to downgrade to ensure best performance on older operating system.

So I got this Snow Leopard DVD, everything was OK, then on the first boot, when you select the country/keyboard/account etc...

at some point in these steps, MBP just freezes, pointer starts rolling in all the beautiful colors and nothing else. Also, a few minutes later MBP shuts.

Should I mention that first I have deleted all the disk HARD, maybe isn't properly? On the first attempt to Snow Leopard could not begin installation, and then to recover, I think I did it right.

Now every time MBP try to complete the installation of SL, but freezes.

I can't go into Recovery Mode or Safe Mode, cmd + r / alt does not work no matter how faster I press on them.

Any help? Please, I beg you!

    Cheers.

There is no recovery mode installed with 10.6, so "can not enter Recovery" isn't a mystery.

Boot from the DVD and check your hard disk with disk utility. If you wait one quarter minute after having responded to the 'what language?' question, the menu bar is displayed, all you can choose disk utility menu.

  • My Firefox has just automatically updated itself to the version 42. The extention under modules page does not display the extensions I have installed.

My Firefox has just automatically updated itself to the version 42. The extention under modules page does not display the extensions I have installed. The plug in page shows the plug ins I installed. How can I fix it? This happened on my 64 bit Windows 7 partition. I installed the extension "classic add-on" to see if she could solve the problem. There is unfortunately no. I have a screenshot. I'm not sure if I have permission to upload it to the media gallery. I also use Linux, but I did not upgrade that are still there.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

  • Mozilla, your last update does not include the last cert of intermediaries of extended validation from Verisign, Symantec class 3 EV SSL CA - G2, please fix ASAP

Your last update of firefox, Mozilla does not include the last cert of intermediaries of extended validation from Verisign, Symantec class 3 EV SSL CA - G2, please fix ASAP

Firefox never includes the intermediate certificates.
It is the responsibility of a server to include all the intermediate certificate required to make it possible to build a certificate chain that ends with a trusted root certificate embedded.

Note that Firefox automatically records the intermediate certificates that servers send in certificates for future use Manager (they appear labelled as 'Software security device' in the References tab).
If a server does not send a complete certificate chain then you get an untrusted error when Firefox has stored missing intermediate certificates to visit a server in the past that a send it, but you get an untrusted error if this intermediate certificate is not yet registered.

  • I would like to know how I can make firefox stop the message that I have to restart my browser to complete the update without having to reboot?

I would like to know how I can make firefox stop the message that I have to restart my browser to complete the update? I'll restart later, but does not wish to do so immediately. I can
Click on the cross, but after a few minutes the message is back and I can't figure out how to stop
    It's popping every few minutes.

    You need to restart it.

  • I loaded the new update for Firefox today and received a message from 'need to reboot to complete the installation'. However, even after restarting several times the update does not load and he always invites me to restart my computer.

The update does not load, and I can't "remove" program to my computer and reload as the same (needs to restart to complete the installation) error message keeps appearing even after several reboots.

Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.

    • Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

  • The PRS - T1 firmware update does not complete

EReader PRS - T1. Now that Sony's Reader store is closed, a new firware update redirects the reader to the Kobo store. Trying to do this update on the drive to fail with the "complete failure" message, tried again, not go. Tried on two different Windows 7 laptop computers and two different readers of PRS - T1. Both the same result. Where from here?

I solved this problem, it's the latest firmware for the Sony Store closing.

Sony did a bad job of coding, it does not check the space available on the drive. As the update needs to copy the updated firmware for the drive, the drive must exceed 100 meg free space to enable this. Two of my readers had less space to 100 meg. By removing some books in order to release the update about 110 meg proceeded until the end.

    Sony, get your coders education!
