I want to disable the pop up requesting my username and password when I am visiting a specific website
I recently started getting a pop up asking for my username and password when I'm trying to connect to a Web site. This has happened the last few days, and it doesn't happen on this one site. I go to this website for over a month with no problems. I don't have this problem with other sites. I have not all websites listed in the trusted sites section. So why would I have problems with one but not the other? Especially when I never had problems before 2 days ago.
I tried a system restore, that does not solve the problem. I went to network and share. My network is set to the public (we have updated internet wirless in place for our home computer and a laptop). Our protected by password sharing is disabled.
I want to know why this started happening. And how to get the pop up to stop. In addition, I can't display some tabs and photos now that this has started to happen. I am trying to connect towww.biggestloserclub.com. I want things to go back to the way they were before. Help!
Hi ctippetts,
a. you can optimize check and internet explore if the problem persists.

Windows Mail security request my username and password.
original title: WINDOWS MAIL SECURITY REQUEST for USERNAME and PASSWORD for WINDOWSMessage of ERROR IS: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', server: 'pop.orangehome.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login/password pair', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92
Very often, it is due to an intermittent server problem and not a problem with your computer. You should contact the provider of messaging and see there are problems. See also if you can connect via webmail and if it works. If so, then try to set up a second copy of your account and see if it works. Also beware of interference antivirus: see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and it can help to compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/)

I would buy Photo shop and have it show that I can assign to a member of the team with their own username and password. I bought it once before, and it would allow only the administrator user name and password to access. would it be controlled by the cloud team account so that I can assign to a user and have all my products Adobe controlled by a single account. Photo shop will be for a single user.
Thank you
Doug

Request user name and password when you try to load Windows 7
We try to load Windows 7 on our office - he was moving along and then stopped to ask username and password - we have never set a user name and password on our machine and can't go back or forward, the machine is blocked. What do we do?
After you have created a username, you should be asked to create a password and confirm it.
Just for clarication, you are in what we call the page Out of Box Experience, here are the simple steps to complete:
Choose your country or region, time and currency and keyboard and click Next.
1 type the name you want to use for the user name that is created locally on the client and click Next.
2 across your account, a password page, type a password (twice) and an indication of password and click Next.
3. on the Type of your Windows product keys page, enter your product key. If you do not fill this field, you will have 30 days to provide the product key. (I leave the product key white on test machines). The automatically activate Windows when I'm online checkbox is selected by default. If you choose not to enter your product key, clear this check box and click Next.
4. the Please read the license terms page requires that you select the I have the license terms box, and then click Next.
5 to protect your computer and improve Windows automatically page, there are three choices: use recommended settings (download and install all OS patches, drivers from Windows Update and Windows Defender updates, IE filter phishing and other updates when they are available), install important updates only (downloads and installs updates only) and ask me later (updated Automatic turning off the power). Choose the setting that suits you and click Next.
6 set your time zone, the date and time on the review your page, settings of date and time and then click Next.
7. the current position of your computer setting determines how secure your new customer. If you are on a home network of trust (which has a firewall between the client and the internet), choose home network. If the client is on a network of trust at work (once again, when there is a current firewall) choose work network. If you are in a coffee shop or any other public place with no known between the client and the Internet firewall, choose the network audience.
8. you will see prepare your computer, then the Windows 7 desktop.

Master password enter usernames and passwords automatically, or should the user still manually enter this info?
Yes, after you set a master password, you will be asked to enter when Firefox needs to access your stored passwords. It will "unlock" the usernames and passwords you have saved and Firefox will automatically added automatically in for you when you navigate from site to site.
When you are finished using the web, you can exit Firefox to "lock" your usernames and passwords.

Is it possible that the computer to request a new username and password when I log in it?
Original title: new account
Hello world!
Is this possible in windows 7 that when I restart my computer it will ask for the new user name and password on a welcome screen, then save it.so when I connect my computer next time, he will simply ask the user name and password will be the same that I created on the Welcome screen.Thank you.In a collegial environment you normally join computers to a domain. If Yes, then the process is simple:
- You do the initial installation.
- You join the computer to the domain.
- You turn back to the teacher.
- It connects with its domain account.
If you do not use a domain then you need to create a local account & password for every teacher before giving him the machine. -

Vista invites the login screen to enter username and password for folder during the connection
Hi all
I have the shared folder on XP. A few days ago I changed the password on the XP machine for the user of Vista, and now I can't connect to the shared folder, because Vista is by using the old password and didn't invite the login user name and password window. Then I try to connect from another PC with Windows7, everything goes well. Even when I change the password on PC XP Windows7 user (just quick Windows7 home screen of the user name and password, so I can enter the same username and the new password to connect successfully). Please, help me to deal with this question, suggestions or something?Sirdele

Before Firefox updated to 6, my user ID and passwords that I had saved, or ask the site to remember was always available. If I close the browser and later began a new session, my ID's were still on the Web site when I went to them. After yesterday, 31/08/2011, updated at 6, when I close the browser after a session, usernames and passwords are gone and must be re-entered. This only happens when I sail as a "standard" user If I surf the web as administrator, all my saved info is still there.
No worries; Type "subject: config" into your address bar, and you should get an alert guarantee invalidated. I leave the checkmark in the box for warn me next time.
After you click "I'll be careful", Firefox shows you multiple options, I'm guessing around 1500. Entering 'form' in the filter will only display options containing this string. Options I searched automatically deal with remembering the info you repeatedly enter in web forms.
Some changes require a reboot, and I'm not hip to that. At least in this case, you will still restart to see if it worked.
It is also critical that navigating the Windows registry, but the same kind of precautions apply; You can seriously break your stuff here. Just like Windows and the registry, a clean reinstall can fix everything you break here, but it's always a concern that you would avoid instead. Be careful and patient.
Take notes, which you change the value, so you can change back - right click to copy the name of the option, its value or both, thus facilitating a list of notebook. Remember that you may need to change a couple.
I am not sure that these options can relieve your frustrations, but this is my last idea in addition to a clean reinstall of Firefox.

Your Windows XP question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the platform of networking on TechNet. Please post your question in the TechNet Windows XP Networking forum.
