I want to get rid of the little eyes that appear when there is a link to a pdf file

This only happens in firefox. No safari or chrome. No one knows whence these "eyes"? See screenshot.

Hi, this is probably caused by the addon 'docs viewer online' you use...

  • How can I get rid of the little boxes that appear with the controls unwanted?

Using OS X on my 21.5-inch iMac 10.11.6 find small boxes containing unwanted orders often open on my computer screen when I place my cursor in a position to order an action such as 'delete' (for example) which is already there and requires nothing more than a pressure on my mouse to work. These boxes often vary in content, and all are difficult and time consuming to remove. Is there a way to prevent their unwanted interference? They began to appear after that I upgraded my operating system of Mountain Lion 2 months ago; no such troubling interference never occurred before this conversion.

  • How can I get rid of the surf canyon Add ons when there is no option "delete"? I have it turned off, but it still appears on my desktop.

I get a window of surf canyon to appear on my desktop. I checked in my control panel and features program and it does not appear there. I checked in firefox, tools, add ons and, it seems, but it is disabled. There is no option to "remove" as there is for other add ons. And, even if it presents as being disabled, the window keeps popping up. How can I get rid of this?

According to a screen shot I've seen online, when you are in the Control Panel, uninstall a program, you are looking for is called Fast Search. It might be easier to click on the column heading "installed on" to bring the most recent infections, I mean additions, upward. I hope that here uninstallation will remove the Firefox and IE as well.

    see you soon

    Hello Kostas2005,

Your system seems to be something to load all the time after an update.

You can run a system restore to remove updates that are causing problems.

This will bring the system back to when everything worked correctly without affecting your personal files.

Here is a link on how to do a restore.

By clicking on the White Star congratulations on the left is a way of saying thanks!

I would like to know how everything goes.

  • How can I get rid of the black bar that appears in the middle of the screen every time I have set the basic like the volume control features, or brightness levels?

Hi, can someone help me with a really annoying (and I'm sure a simple to fix) problem?  I don't know if it's related to Windows 7 or if it's just my laptop plays up.  I recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Visa and whenever I have increase/decrease noise, brightness, etc (no matter if I do this using the key on the keyboard or via the control panel), a black bar appears in the middle of the display, indicating the levels that I'm reaching with the adjustments.  It's useful... except it does not disappear after that I'm done.  The bar stays there for all the time that I am connected and text blocks, images on the screen that I can't minimize or even move it out of the road.

It's a solid blue rectangle with 2 white "" superior to "sign, as to point to the right." He appeared on the recently created new files, MS Word and jpg photos. I find a nuisance when you try to view photo icons because it hides part of the image.

I have a URL for my car: firsttechfed.com but when I type in the tree, the system automatically fills in with: firsttechfcu.com, an advertisement site. So, every time I want to go to my site CU that I have to type the full name. I want to get rid of the fcu.com and keep the fed.com. There are other sites in this list, I want to also remove, but can not find a way to do it.

A tip on deleting AutoComplete entries: when you arrow down to a selection and delete it, the wrong URL remains in the address bar. Arrow the right URL before pressing ENTER.

  • Can anyone tell how I can configure the desktop as the default screen that appears when I connect to Win 8?

    Original title: Desktop

Can anyone tell how I can configure the desktop as the default screen that appears when I connect to Win 8 rather than having to go from the first layer redundant 'start-up '.

In fact, if anyone can tell if there's a free windback to an earlier version of Windows (7) who has not all layers unnecessary and icons, I would be really grateful

Your best bet is to switch to 8.1, that allows you to boot directly to the desktop, and then use a menu like debut8 to replace the old Start Menu and hide the side of the metro.

If your computer comes with Win Pro 8, you may be able to demotion, otherwise, you will need to buy 7. Before you buy 7, I would recommend go to the computer manufacturer's website and see if there are any Windows 7 drivers for your computer. You may lose certain functions - sound, network, video full resolution - if there is no driver.

The first option is easy and allows you to keep the improvements in performance and safety 8.

  • I want to get rid of the Bing screen, but there is no "menu at the top of the Firefox window" for me "Select tools and then select the Add-ons menu item.

I suddenly have a 'Bing' screen when I connect on Firefox - and I want to get rid of it. The support section of Firefox says
1 "in the menu at the top of the Firefox window, seledt tools, and then select the Add-ons menu item." - but I don't see any 'menu item' tools, or much less modules.
    2. "in the window modules, click the Extensions Panel"- but how to find the Modules window?
    3. find the Bing and extended support to search toolbar in the list and then click on disable for each of them. ' - but what and where exactly is - this?

At the top of the screen is only an icon of Yahoo to the left and to the right of it, a search box, 'Web search', 'My Apps,' Yellow Pages,""Weather","Updates"and"Skype ". to the right of the people, there is a green cross saying "add more applications. to your toolbar"and to the right of this one kind of gear shift looking icon saying"toolbar settings ".
So, in short, how can I get rid of the Bing screen and how to access these tools?
    Thank you.

Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

  • Multiboot, want to get rid of the XP operating system.

    Original title: Starting Multiple.

I run 4 HDD... XP pro, Vista ultimate, Windows 7 ultimate, win 8 multiboot... XP is naturally the boot drive, now if I want to get rid of this OS I have to reinstall the other or how can it be done?

The startup for all 4 information are stored on the hard drive of Windows XP which is the boot drive. You should probably do a repair installation using your CD-ROM of Windows 8.
