Had an accident and I want to import my favorites into Firefox but the only option in the Import Wizard is that is my B/brands are saved on a memory stick. Any solution please. ?
How bookmarks are stored? If they are in an HTML file, you can go to bookmarks > organize bookmarks > import and backup > import HTML, select "in a HTML file" and go from there.
If you have not currently saved favorites and b / m to import is already in a FF bookmarks file you could just more copy to your profile.

Kindle reader cloud is not compatible with newly installed OS El Capitan. What can I do? I don't want to change to a Google Chrome browser.
Not sure why you think that it is not compatible. Works for me with OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan and Safari 9.1
Another option is to download the Kindle app in Menu Apple > App Store

When I visit Gmail using Firefox version 8.0 (running w7) I get this message: "important features may not work in this version of your browser, if you have been directed to the basic HTML version. Upgrade to a modern, like Google Chrome browser. Try the standard version in any case. "
When I click "Try Standard Version Anyway" it works, but for some reason, Gmail is say that Firefox 8.0 is not a modern browser. Also, whenever I visit Gmail, he returned to the basic HTML version... ba.
It seems that Google is trying to make you switch to Chrome. I would stick with Firefox, but Gmail is an important part of my browsing...
I found the solution... browsing around, I found this link:
http://www.Google.sh/support/forum/p/Gmail/thread?TID=627898d83a02180f & hl = in
In type of Firefox:
Subject: config
Filter the results with:
"general.useragent.
All fields that are "BOLD" must be reset to ZERO. Do a RIGHT CLICK and RESET each field "BOLD".
Worked on my w7 machine!

I want to import my favorites from Yahoo for Firefox.
Yahoo is doing maintenance on his page 'signet' until October. So far nothing new can be added, saved, moved, altered, etc.. A few days ago would be nice. However, it is unacceptable to wait until the end of October. Y at - it a simple and foolproof way I can import all my favorites in Firefox or is Yahoo - this not feasible at the moment?
There is a procedure step by step to the eHow below link. I don't use Yahoo Bookmarks, so I don't know if it works, but you can try.
- IMPORTANT:
- You can name the file created in step 5 to "YahooBookmarks.html" instead of "bookmarks.htm" to distinguish it from other files of bookmarks on your hard drive
- And place the file in the folder/one easy place for you to find and remember
- The imported bookmarks will be involved in your Firefox bookmarks-inter existing and will be indistinguishable from your existing Firefox bookmarks

You can also back up your bookmarks Firefox before to do the above, just in case something goes wrong:
- Favorites-how to import, export or save bookmarks et Backup and restore bookmarks (Mozillazine)
- Special Note:
- JSON (backup bookmarks) files, when restored, won't replace all of your existing Firefox bookmarks
- HTML (exported bookmarks) files, when imported, will add to your existing result of Firefox and pourrait duplicate bookmarks if the item is already in your bookmarks and is also in the imported HTML file

If you have problems with importing IE bookmarks in Firefox, then export favorites in Internet Explorer to a HTML file and import this file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
Like that you also preserve any sort you did in Internet Explorer with favorites.- Export Favorites in Internet Explorer to a file (bookmarks.html) HTML: file > import and export
- Import the HTML file in Firefox: bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > import HTML: from a file

Thank youYou want to copy your bookmarks from Firefox on favorite Edge? I found a few articles about how Edge can import from other browsers:
- http://winsupersite.com/Windows-10/how-import-Internet-Favorites-Windows-10s-Microsoft-edge-other-browsers
I can't test these steps myself. They work for you?
For contacts, Firefox isn't local storage, the data must be on the site where you get your email (for example, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) and should be available in all browsers.

I upgraded my computer, adding a second hard disk for a new operating system and kept the old drive as a data disc. I assumed that I could install Firefox on the new disk and import my favorites from the old installation of Mozilla on the old disk. I can't find the files on the old drive with my favorites. They're still here, or when I reinstalled Firefox, I lost everything even if it was on another drive? I can't find the backup on the old disk files and want to restore my old favorites. Is it possible to do this?
