I'm having a problem when I want to collect a continuous stream of data table 1 d single but the spreadsheet file that I read that data becomes only six columns of data from line one. I want a continuous stream of data from the time wherever I run a VI until the time it stopped. Here's a word file that contains my VI image and an image of the data in the excel file.

If I understand you correctly, you want to just log on all the time as you acquire data?

Just move the spreadsheet write VI file inside the while loop.  To 'Add to the file?' to 'true' constant Boolean, assign to the input parameter.

Therefore, for your example in the word document, move it inside the while loop and just set to 'Add to the file?' to 'true '.

EDIT:

The reasoning behind this is: Dataflow work such as the while loop data only will BE NOT sold off all loop until it is COMPLETELY finished.  The ONLY data you will get are the LATEST iteration.

In addition, you DON'T want the files to overwrite each other, so report it to 'append' (add at the end of an existing file).

    Hi Tom,

    This is known as a table for discussion and has been a hot topic in this forum sometimes. The process is not difficult, but a screen showing the structure of your main table and what you want to see in the table of 'Pete' would be useful in providing a specific solution to your question.

  • How to save data in simple, but old, corrupted worksheet

    I can't SAVE a spreadsheet used by many people, in many applications, more than 10 years.  The data looks good, but it is corrupted. Life will not end, but the hours will be lost. Is it possible to force a copy of data to put in a clean spreadsheet?  This info has been used to bring back a group of genealogy of aging in the 21st century we can stop dragging boxes and boxes of text around one President to another.

    Many thanks for your suggestions, and as you can imagine, I could use some of the steps in the process.

    More information can lead to solutions more.

    If the worksheet is opened you can try to copy the tables from the old to a new. If this does not copy the cells of an old table in a new doc.

    Do you mean something like this?

    Summary::B2: = SUMIF (Data::A, A2, Data::B)

    Hi people,

    I created a spreadsheet to help people formulate SOAP 3-digit revenues. I want to share with the larger community of soaping, free, probably through a forum. I also have a modest web site that I can make the file available through. My question is how to proceed so that anyone with access to all versions of the numbers can use it so good see fit them.

    I got a good glance and the search for something like 'share the spreadsheet numbers' produces many links on how to collaborate on a file, but not how to distribute a. Perhaps I paint a false distinction but I hope someone here can clarify this for me?

    So I'm looking to be clear, the best way to distribute/sharing a 3 worksheet file numbers for users of:

    • a Mac
    • an iPhone
    • an iPad
    • a Windows computer in a web browser
    • Another way to use the numbers you can think.

    in a way that allows them to have their own copy and do not work with me.

    Have you thought about this?

    You can set it to "View only" to the next step so that they cannot make changes to your copy.

    Anyone with a modern browser will be able to view the document.  No need to have iCloud account.

    Those who have a Mac will be able to download a copy (via the number to iCloud 'Tool' icon) and open it in their app numbers if they wish.

    You must save the spreadsheet containing the new date as a model format and use this custom template for each new spreadsheet where you want that this date format personalized at your disposal.

  • Calculations of the summary worksheet

    I'm composing a workbook with a summary page that will calculate all the questions in the other worksheets.  I wish I could hide the zero in the summary to the summary so busy.  How can I do this?

    A way to hide the zeros in number is via a custom Format.

    I added a rule to the Custom Format and do nothing put in the box.

    First: I have firmware version 2015 7 28 (8151) and cannot update any further because I have only the Android app.

    When I write a program with the statement, for example:

    Spreadsheet.Cell (2.5): = 3.7

    It works very well, and this kind of van instructions very helpful when you want to produce a large amount of data.

    But when the worksheet is in the background when I run the program it does not work.

    Cell (2.5): = 3.7 does not either, or C3: = 3.7 or Spreadsheet.C3: = 3.7

    Another thing that does not work with the worksheet at bottom is from an application.

    Thus STARTAPP ("Function") does not work in this case.

    Not a major bug, but sometimes it can be annoying.

    I see 3.7 added in the cell no matter where or what I'm trying. Note that I have not specifically test on the version of android.

    I have a document of numbers, including about 30 worksheets. One for each room in a building.

    I am trying to sum of items shipped quantities or not in these rooms.

    Function sum if is good for a worksheet, since I'm looking for a specific object in a single room and adding value in the column "Quantity" of this room.

    What I would like is the same function, able to look upward to the reference value in the 30 spreadsheets and give me the result.

    I searched through aid, but have not found anything compared to the map of multi calculation process. Is this thing possible?.

    Hi all

    I have a document numbers including about 30 paintings. In practice each room in a building the United Nations.

    I'm trying to add up the amounts of the various objects spread or not in these rooms.

    The Sum if function is valid pour 1 table (that is, 1 piece of the building) when I search in a room, how many times an object is and allows me to add up the value in the column adjacent 'quantity' of this piece.

    What I would like is the same function able to go look in all the tables and give me the sum paid all of the tables.

    I have consulted the online help but found nothing about a search in several tables. Is this a possible function?

    Hey Lopez,

    Consolidate data from different tables is clumsy in number. I don't know how invested you are in your current set up, but a different approach would pay ongoing benefits. Without better understand what you need to follow, it is difficult to be precise. I would try to create an array of data available to all objects in the rooms. This data table would be extract data to the 30 room tables.

    I have a puzzle game worksheet that I need help with this. Its related to indexing and extraction of specific data and necessary other sheets. So full of hope someone out there has the time and skills to help out me. Here we go...

    Here's an example simplified data in Sheet1:

    So, basically, I need to index the task and time by using the names of people, preferably in a menu drop-down.

    Name Time Task

    Hi Joey,

    Here is one approach. Two tables extra where you can filter on a name.

    The 'File' table is where you type or paste details.

    The table "Choosing a name" has a context Menu in A2

    In the table "Wash."

    Formula in A2 (fill down)

    = Roster::A2

    Formula in B2 (fill down)

    = Roster::B2

    Formula in C2 (fill down)

    = IF(B=Choose a Name::A$2,"Show","Hide")

    In the table "in the dry."

    Formula in A2 (fill down)

    = Roster::A2

    Formula in B2 (fill down)

    = Roster::C2

    Formula in C2 (fill down)

    = IF(B=Choose a Name::A$2,"Show","Hide")

    I added the highlight conditional to add Green fill to no results 'Show', just to illustrate. It is not necessary, because we'll hide these columns.

    Now, apply a filter for the wash, then the tables dry:

    To see this:

    You can move (copy / paste) the list to another worksheet table 'hide' If you wish.

    Now hide the columns 'Show?' in the dry tables and washing.

    Choose a different name in the pop-up Menu

  • Worksheet in numbers app has disappeared

    I have the numbers app on my iPad 2 for almost 2 years now & frequently use it. An important spreadsheet simply disappeared! I have not found it when I turned on my iPad today while I worked on this spreadsheet yesterday. I have the latest version of numbers (2.6.1) & IOS is also updated (version 9.2.1). My spreadsheets are stored in iCloud & I still 3.5 gega of free space. All the other worksheets, I created & work in numbers are available, except this one, & it is very important. What could have happened and how can I get it back? Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Use a computer and a web browser to connect to your icloud account and see if the file is there. It may have simply been a problem to sync between your iPad and icloud. If she is not there, contact the Apple support on this subject because they may be able to recover the file if it has not been too long because he disappeared.

    There is a known issue with Mac Office versions prior to 2007 version that results in release of Clipboard does not correctly supported. Firefox 3.0, being a more recent application, using the new format for the HTML Clipboard data. Unfortunately, Office 2004 and Office X do not support this.

    If you upgrade to MS Office 2007, it should work as expected.

  • Purge of the Images of the worksheet

    When I record a Numbers spreadsheet as a CSV file, I sometimes cannot be imported into a database table using phpMyAdmin. I need to copy the data into Excel, then save Excel as a CSV file.

    Rather than rely on this work around, I want to make it work with numbers. So, I start my troubleshooting with emphasis on images. I had problems in the past with seemingly invisible images on some of my worksheets. Is there a way to purge images of a Numbers spreadsheet?

    I would like to start by determining if the images are a table cell or outside environments.

    THIS ONLY IN A COPY OF YOUR DOCUMENT

    To do this, select the table that contains the data, cut

    Now click on the drawing of the map area and all select, delete

    Now paste to replace table

    Now, try to export the data and import into your database

    If it works YES!

    If it doesn't then you should divide the data into two table until you isoliez the offending lines.

  • Of worksheet Numbers does not open in iCloud

    Numbers worksheets will not open via iCloud.com.  The new tab opens and then it just says: 'Loading... '. "forever.  It has always worked until this week.  Synchronized spreadsheets can be opened with the application of office numbers, yet is no longer iCloud.com.

    This seems to affect all saved spreadsheets.  And the dates of change/time are all correct and up-to-date.  The leaves just will not open.
