  Movie Maker has problems with the .mpg files... best bet would be
  to convert the .mpg files before importing the .wmv format.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, .wmv

• Error in import of my. MOV video file in the Windows Movie Maker program.

  I tried to import my videos in Windows movie maker program and I still get the following error message.

  The file . MOV cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file.

  I downloaded a software called of 1.40 of Prism of the internet and the software allowed me to make the format change .mov to .avi, however; When I played my video, she played in slow motion.

  ·          You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

  ·          Do you have any third party media player and codec installed on your computer?

  Temporarily uninstall them if you have any third-party media player installed on your computer and check if you are able to import files video .mov in Windows Movie Maker.

  Secondly, if you have any third-party codec player installed temporarily uninstall them and check.

  To uninstall codec and third-party multimedia player, you can use the Windows Cleanup utility.

  Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from this link:

  Now, run the utility ("' start > all programs > Windows Installer Cleanup" "). In the list of programs displayed in the cleanup, select programs, and then click on remove. Quit out of cleaning.

• can not import avi files in the pse12 catalogue

  I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with import avi (my Nikon D5000 video files) in the catalogue of PSE 12.

  Windows 7 SP1 with all updates.

  The camera is a Nikon D5000

  type of file is AVI

  Whenever I go to import an AVI (my SD card or my HARD drive) Organizer comes up with the message that it has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution.

  I don't shoot much video so it is not a big concern, but it used to work in previous versions of the EP.

  Any help with this issue is appreciated.

  Are you sure that there is one on a relationship between your import .avi files in the catalog and the message?

  I checked online and found that your camera is probably the record to give you the video files in MotionJPEG.avi. This can be a problematic format in time (especially on the forehead of Premiere Elements). Your camera is equipped with a utility that could introduce the video codec? Sometimes it's a draw on the question of whether the video codec is installed compared to the failure of the program to recognize.

"This file has no program associated with it for performing this action.   Before playing the files on the CD, make sure you cross check if you have the right program installed on the computer. If you have not installed the right program, then we recommend you to install the program that supports the file type and use them to read the files on the CD.
   
  You can also change the default program to read this file. The program opens the file only if the file format is supported by the latter.

  First of all, make sure that you have backups of all your photos before doing this.

  In Lightroom, drag the folder in the Control Panel folder to the new location of the file where you want it to be.

  Another method: in your operating system, COPY (and not move) the photos where you want them to be. then in Lightroom with the right button on the folder and select the folder location of updated and point to the new location of the photos; Once this does not work, delete pictures from their original location using your operating system.

  I can import the Raw file successfully, but can't see all the changes that have been applied in Capture One. IM assuming not, but just to check.

  Your assumption is correct, Capture One, Lightroom and other third party raw processors have their own exclusive process and profiles to render the raw data.

  They do not make permanent changes to the raw data and save changes to a .xmp file or to a Lightroom catalog file.

  The Capsule is not a media server, whereas if you might be able to do what you want... kind of... He's complicated.

  In general, you will need to have iTunes running on a computer somewhere on your network... and... Tunes must be able to access the files on the Time Capsule.   Performance wise, things have a better chance to work well if you can plug hard Capsule of Apple TV, since wireless probably won't work well at all for a task like this.

  Personally, I could never do that, so I can't tell you how well or even if... it will work. If you decide to give it a try, please let us know how things work out for you.
