    Hi MAMARDA,

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

I would like to ask you a few questions in order to get a better understanding of this issue so that we can better help you.

    (a) what version of Windows 7 use you?

    (b) what is the exact error message you are getting?

Method 1: You can also try to perform a file system (scan SFC) verification tool. This tool will fix the system files are corrupted.

    Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

    1. click on the Start button

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

    4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

    5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter

    7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Method 2: If this is a recent problem that has developed you can try to perform a system restore and check if it works very well.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next

    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next

    4. click on finish

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

For more information, please follow the below given link:

How to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936212/

Method 3: you can try to start safe mode and restore the system, if you are unable to do it in normal mode.

For a safe boot, you can follow the below given steps:

    1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

    2. do one of the following:

    a. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

    b. If your computer has multiple operating systems, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

When you are in safe mode, follow the steps mentioned above to complete the restore of the system.

    Hope the helps of information.
Please post back and we do know.

  • FF 8 causes flash to not however with load after you open the Task Manager and open the plugin container folder, everything works fine

New upgrade FF and all the flash based video site does not load and makes computer almost hang. After I open the Task Manager and go to the folder where is the plugin container, everything works back. I don't do anything at all after opening the folder.

What kind of error is it? Its very strange. If all goes well, there is a fix for this.

Another method would be to uninstall FF and install FF8.0 and not use the upgrade FF7.0. It worked for me.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 fails to stop and requires Windows Task Manager to stop the process Photoshop.exe

If I launch Photoshop CC 2015 from the start menu or a desktop icon or call from another application, he continues to be active after closing and forces me to use the Windows 7 Task Manager to kill him.  If I open it in the Cloud creative application menu (using the OPEN) it will properly close out.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Hi Luke,.

Can you try to check a new user account.

  • My computer takes an exceptionally long time to open and close. I have to delete svchost.exe process system via the Task Manager to stop the system. Problem is recent.

I recently used wireless net via Cisco router. However I don't know if the problem is with it.

If you install the new software try uninstall and see if problem is resolved or not. Also try to restore back your software once before the problem happens. Try defragnment and disk performance checking, cleaning disc and scan your PC with antivirus or Microsoft Safety scanner online:

  • In older firefox if I stop firefox.exe to the Task Manager and start firefox it will restore all my open tabs, now it doesn't

usually in the earlier version as 28, so I end the process "firefox.exe" task manager and run back the firefox, it will restore the tabs normally I opened (websites that I had until I stop the firefox.exe)
But now that more recent versions, not give me this feature, restore session screen becomes white and I drop my open sessions.
I have to use the history to restore the sessions that I lost,

Please can someone take a look at this problem, it would be an interesting option to stop the firefox.exe in the Manager of tasks and able to restore all the sessions again

I have attached a picture for your information

    Thank you

Unfortunately the image have no download, but there are built in the back of the inverter session. If these do not work correctly, we are happy to investigate.

However, there is an addon that helps with backups called session manager Session.

  • When I open the Task Manager and select "Show processes from all users" there are 2 files virus csrss.exe?

    original title: virus csrss.exe?

I use Vista Home Premium.  When I open the Task Manager and select "Show processes from all users" there are 2 files csrss.exe.  I learned that this indicates that I was infected by a virus.  Is this the case?

    Hi Julie,.

Did you the latest changes on the system?

Csrss.exe is Client/Server Runtime Subsystem.  All the Microsoft system has file csrss.exe running in the Task Manager, but it is likely to be infected by others. If it uses a lot of time processor and extremely abnormal in activities in the Task Manager, you can run a scan of the system security.

You can read the following article to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer.

    Microsoft safety scanner

Note: When you perform the analysis, there are chances of losing the data that you can take a backup of important data before performing analysis.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • I can not get my task manager to open the process

When I try to start my task manager and check my process, I don't have the traditional tabs. Instead, I see this square box with the following columns: ID, State, name of the Client, user, Session

Then it gives me the possibility to disconnect

Have no idea of what happened. I just want to see this program continues to run in the background of my computer.

Sorry Frédérik once you have managed to identify the problem.

vjfrench try this: double-click on the outside edge (for example on the screenshot above the next toe disconnection) seems simple but it works!

  • What was the reason not to open Task Manager and does not stop?

I work in the Windows 8 operating system, while working if I press ctrl + Alt + Delete I couldn't. Task Manager, and I also tried by right click on the taskbar and open it but I have not opened., then, if I use Alt + F4 or by clicking on power and shutdown., I can't shut down my system. , I only manage to use long press of the button / stop. What was the reason of these complaints?

Looks like there is a virus, corruption or corruption caused by a previous virus.  Whatever the cause, something is clearly broken. I would try these simple solutions first: http://cmdrkeene.com/quickly-repair-pc-problems

  • "The Windows Task Manager has stopped working" the INSTANT Task Manager opens... process of safe mode does nothing.

I am running windows 7 64 bit and have encountered a problem. Whenever I have open tasks, any way Manager (msconfig, cntrl shift escape, Ctrl alt del, etc.), task manager opens and white and displays "Windows Task Manager has stopped working". I am increasingly frustrated with the problem. I tried booting in safe mode AND clean boot, but the problem persists. On top of that, the system restore fails whenever I'm trying to do.

Could you please help me get running again the Task Manager?

Do you feel the behavior if you log on with a different user account?

Maybe, try to rename a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\TaskManager to for example a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\TaskManager.OLD in the registry. Then try to start the Task Manager again.

  • I clicked "end task" in the Task Manager and windows and disappered funds? Help?

    This has happened

    A few times a week

is after update of Firefox 3.6.4

I have the same problem with Firefox 3.6.6 except that it also consumes massive amounts of CPU during the race. This version also adds a new process on your system. I am running XP and in the beginning I tried to disable some plug-ins. Always consumed too much memory. I went back to version 3.6 and the new process went, and the CPU consumption is way down. Something is wrong with the latest version of Firefox, I never saw behave this way. Revert to a previous version (Filehippo) and you will see the difference.
