  First I went to Toshiba.com and customized the p500 to meet my needs, then I discovered that the only residence WE can order apparently.
  So I'll just the Norwegian site Toshiba expects to find the same options there, but no. I'm not able to customize the product and im not able to order it from Toshiba. No other. Purchase the p500 a Norwegian retailer is not an option (no i7, SSD, 8 GB RAM etc.)

  Recovery disc creator can t be downloaded. It s only preinstalled on your laptop and that s all! But I really don t understand why you deleted this program.

  Anyway, if you run the option HDDrecovery back you to factory settings. You can then start again recovery disc creator to create the Toshiba recovery disc.

  In front of me, I have Satellite P500 preinstalled with Win7 64 bit (original Toshiba recovery image).

  I use just a few days, but I did notice a few strange problems. I do not use Norton and cannot confirm if there are a few conflicts but all things I installed work properly.
