Reason: I have herped the DPEP.

There is really no need to post the download links 3 rd-party; Adobe is available at tall_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#ins and other places of all installers.

In addition, you need the 32-bit of Internet Explorer version - Flash Player will not work on the 64-bit version.

I hope that this information will be useful. Again, my goal is to uninstall and reinstall Java and Adobe. I wish I only had 1 version (if possible), ensuring that it is the most recent, when uninstalling and deleting unnecessary files or previous versions / Add-ons. Actually, just try to get the cleaned computer and make browsing the web more efficient (recently have had some difficulties to the display of web pages using these programs). I am familiar with the programs and processes as a whole, but I think that you have more intelligence and experience in detailed areas. Thanks in advance for your time and let me know if you need any other information. Thank you! B

Well I am finally getting caught up! I see in my last post, I was so anxious that I should have used spelling :-)

Thanks on the info to add/remove. I almost never go there unless I want to remove something.

If you did it all over again? LOL, well it paid that I see. This 2SSV of Java; I just keep mine disabled. Interesting on the deployment kit. I don't have FF on my system, but this last week installed Java in my Add ons. So I disabled the automatic download etc. of Java & also disabled the Toolbox. I've always seen for "other browsers". He should really keep an eye on these various programs :-)

You're right about me not knowing too much about Shockwave Player. As long as the other folder does not cause a problem, that I would just leave.

Well, happy that you have your system up to date and everything works as it should. I'm sure you understand now that it is a lot

easier to stay up to date :-)

Oh, and I had a chuckle to your "you guys;" one of us is a gal :-) I know what you mean tho & happy you enjoyed our help.

    Thank you

  • Used to install Flash Player on Windows 7 64-bit

I have install Flash and it says installation complete, but it is not iincluded n my list of programs.

When I try to view someything who use it I get a message saying that I need Flash

    Any ideas?

Hi, you must use the Adobe uninstaller that you can download to your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Then download the Flash Player for Internet Explorer installation program on your desktop:

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/flashplayer/Current/Install_flash_player_ax.exe

You must use the 32-bit browser which is the default value. To be sure, go to help and click on about Internet Explorer, x 86 should be listed and you are using the 32-bit browser.

You must also run as administrator.

After that you have on your desktop, close all browsers, disable any messenger or other applications that use Flash

    (Check the system tray)

Launch the uninstaller. When you are done, Reboot (restart) your computer. When fully charged, Reboot again (to make sure that all the old Flash files are deleted.

Then run the installation program and once finished, reboot once.

    Test your installation here:http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

If you have any questions, post just before or after.

    Thank you

  • Cannot install Flash Player for Firefox

I am running Windows XP it with SP4.  IE and the latest version of Firefox are installed.

In IE and Firefox, trying to install Flash Player with the standard binding, I get an error message in a small window opens, the title "getPlus + (R): error," text 'Cannot load a GUI,' box 'OK '.  I got this by locating a stand-alone installation for IE, who uploaded a file to install it on my computer.  However, this does not work in Firefox, even when access to this link from Firefox.  The file runs, but Flash Player still shows as not installed in Firefox.

I can't find any program separate stand-alone installers for Flash Player for Firefox.

This error seems to be generated by the Adobe getPlus product installer.  My thought was to uninstall the Adobe installer and try again.  However, the Adobe installer appears in the list of installed programs, accessible via the Control Panel, BUT by clicking on the button to uninstall the program does nothing.  The program is still present.  I can't find a location for the installer from Adobe on my hard drive.

Hi Chris, I'm very well know the DLM/getPlus/getPlusPlus/NOS. :-) I see that you are too much now :-) Most users have no problem removing DLM to Add/Remove/programs and features through Control Panel.

There are a number of things to check. Using IE, go to tools > Internet Options. Click settings, and then view the objects. There that anything appearing on the above?

When you tried to delete the DLM, were using the administrator account?

Now, using the start SEARCH, enter in the "part of the name of" gp.ocx and note where it is and right click and delete it. Then, run a SEARCH on gp.inf and do the same thing.

Did you uninstall Flash Player using the Adobe uninstaller program then try again to install FP in FF?

I have some info Add ' l on the DLM, etc and will try to get it.

    Thank you

  • I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11

I can't install Adobe Flash Player on Windows 7, IE11 after countless attempts.  I installed Chrome (which I didn't do, and I still don't know if it was necessary), I updated Java to the latest version, I uninstalled Silverlight (thinking maybe it has been installed by default), I also (temporarily) disabled my Norton protection when installing it the last 4 times, and I made sure that the add-on has been "enabled" in the fall of management modules area , and yet, he does not show it when I do a test of the Adobe system being installed. It also does not appear on my start - search for Adobe programs.  I'm completely frustrated, especially when the web page to download Adobe told me that all the 3 steps are completed and effective and thank you & Enjoy.  I have read the forums as well, but I can't find a solution.  Help, please. Thank you, Bill

If you do not have an error during the installation of the plugin is probably installed successfully.  It is possible that the plugin is disabled in Internet Explorer or ActiveX filtering is disabled.  Please see: Enable Flash Player for Internet Explorer and ActiveX in Internet Explorer filtering after ensuring the Flash Player is enabled and activeX filtering is disabled, via IE to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click on the "Check now" button  What are the results for Information System?

Java and Silverlight are two completely different programs, have nothing to do with Flash Player.

Flash Player is a browser plugin and will not appear on a start - search Adobe programs.  It appears in Control Panel > Add Remove programs.

  • Windows 10 - Flash content from Internet Explorer asking you to Install flash player

    * Windows 10 Pro Version: 10.0.10586

    * www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer, Microsoft 25.10586.0.0 edge - flash content shows just a blank space, so I tried Internet Explorer 11.212.10586.0 same thing happened.

    * When I go to test the flash, I get the following message:

Sorry flash player is either not installed or not active

Internet Explorer sorry flash player is either not installed or not enabled.PNG

As you can see, flash player is installed, it comes pre-installed with Windows 10.

(which I think is a bad move on the part of Microsoft, such as flash player is slowly being choked out with HTML5 as the new King of the interactive content world, it is also a bad move on adobes part, because they now try to push updates through windows updates, it scr@ws also we) , users, because now we cannot choose to install it, or even to fix! When TI gos wrong like today!)

I think that the problem started after the update of KB3154132, I tried to remove the update and then put it back, I got in touch with Microsoft technical support, which are like (something I'm not going to say) I'm an advanced user, or they, can not solve this problem!

    so I'm here,

The files needed for the flash content seem to be in the correct locations, I tried to delete Internet Explorer then put it back in place, Grr and ive tried what the help page adobe said... to activate ActiveX also works to ensure that the plugin is enabled, on which it is

Just to add, this could be a registry problem, I found a few entries that are not the same, but I think that the entries have changed, because I installed flash player manually, under windows 8 under compatibility mode windows 10, I did that, because flash player no longer works, as I explained above,.
