  Recently I bought the Windows 7 64 bit laptop. Before that, I use my desktop PC with Windows 7 32 bit and everything was fine.

  My problem is on my new laptop with Windows 64 bit, I'm unable to install Flash Player in Internet Explorer. I saw there are a few options to choose the operating system, but what is happending, I always choose Windows 7 64 bit and install it for Chrome and IE is quantity.

  Please give me some suggestions.

  I can play under game on Chrome but unable to play on Internet Explorer, version 10.

  I have a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit laptop. I can't install adobe flash player. Have seen much posted here, I'm really lost. Can someone tell me what I can do to solve the problem. Really upset because this is a new computer. Thanks for any help.

  I'm having issues installing Flash Player on Windows 8 Preview (Build 8400) 64-bit version.
  I try to install the newest Flash Player for 64-bit Firefox (it's actually a customized version called BlazingFast built on firefox 12.0). It is 100%, freezes, and then tells me that the ActiveX control cannot be saved. I'm running no antivirus (as my favorite is not yet compatible with Windows 8) and am using an administrator account.   There is really no need to post the download links 3 rd-party; Adobe is available at tall_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#ins and other places of all installers.

  I don't know what is the Flash Player Settings Manager or where to find it. It seems certainly not 'open', anywhere where I can see.

  There was a discussion on this topic. The solution that many people found useful is:

  1. look for the "FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl" file in the following folders:

  On systems 32 - bits, C:\Windows\system32

  On 64 - bits, C:\Windows\syswow64 systems

  2 delete this file.

  If you do not have permission to remove the same, use a third party application like Unlocker. (http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/)

  3. try to install or uninstall.

  Here are 2 flash used on my pc W10 1511 version attached.

  While 64-bit Vista is not listed on there, the latest version of Flash Player, 18.0.0.160, will always install on it.

  What does "does not average"?  It installs correctly, but the Flash content is not displayed?  Using the browser Internet Explorer 32-bit or 64-bit?

  Try to install the latest update on the spirit of Mac (El Capitan 10.11 - 5) Google Chrome browser.  Download Installer but when I double click to do the installation, a message appears asking you my user id and password.  The back of user id is already filled in (my real name, not the email addresses that is my adobe id) and if I put the password just changed in it will not take it.  No message is displayed to tell me what the problem is.  The box just shimmies.  Can you tell me what am I doing wrong / should do differently?

  Flash in Internet Explorer 64-bit is not Possible yet

  If you use Windows 7 64-bit, you can use Flash with Internet Explorer, but you must use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer - in the use of the start 'Internet Explorer' Menu and not the one named "Internet Explorer (64-bit).

  In the future Adobe will support 64-bit for Flash on Windows, but for now, you must use the regular 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.

  Even if you are a 64-bit machine 8 default IE should be 32-bit version.  This is the version that runs on 64-bit computers by default.  If you use this version, then the problems will disappear.  As previously reported Adobe are still working on a version of Flash for 64 - bit.
