iCloud download

I have icloud on my pc and put some pictures there. I believe I have done everything it says in the implementation on my iphone 3gs but can not actually see how to access these photos. Help please. Thank you.

How do you put photos on iCloud?  ICloud drive?  iCloud photo library?  Another way?

You may need to update your iOS (and therefor your iPhone) to be able to use one of these features.

  • Why say iCloud "download items" when nothing new appeared?

I bought more iCloud storage so that could import the pictures lost; Mac and iPhone say "download items", but nothing new appears.  My app Photo on Mac says that he had been waiting for the import of 15,000 pictures that my sotarge was full.  I bought more storage and since then he has been telling me that it is x amount of the 'elements', import taking the original 15 000 to about 12,000 currently.  It is a positive reaction to buying more storage, however no new pictures or videos are appearing in the library while the numbers decrease. Need HELP, my pictures are just ghosts?

Same thing happens on the iPhone itself so.

Pictures will start the download of iCloud, once it has finished downloading. It will be first merge the element that it downloads in the iCloud existing photo library in iCloud and then download lack of news.

You see new elements in the Photos.app to www.icloud.com, when you look directly through the web interface for iCloud?

  • ICloud download duplicates if she tries to download a backup library on a new computer?

    General information

I am running OS X El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. My current setup, I have the Photos.app using a library of Photos on an external HARD drive. The photo library is 136 GB and is synchronized with iCloud library where I have 200 b of storage.

I reinstalled OS X, formatting the SSD and got all my apps resettled. Then I tried to keep my library of Photos on my internal flash SSD instead of the external HARD disk drive permanently. I copied my library of Photos on the SSD, maintained key Option and selected my GB 136 Photos library as the library of Photos.app.  I went into Preferences and then set this as my default system for the pictures library.

    The question

When I opened my preferences of library 136 GB in Photos.app the iCloud library option is not checked. When I checked, he warned me that I don't have enough storage in iCloud to accommodate 136 b pictures. I got 84 GB remaining. He asked me to upgrade my 1 TB storage plan. It's not like he's smart enough to understand that the library I've got, the 136 GB of photos & videos, is same Go 136 of photos & videos that he seeks to online.

When I say just Photos.app continue to use my 200 GB storage plan, he complains that it will not be able to fit all these photos on iCloud. It will re - download all the pictures in my library? Is this enough smart to analyze any libraries (Commons and iCloud) and determine these already exist in iCloud and therefore do not need to be downloaded? I guess it would be, and in the end, I'll have my library connected to iCloud and two places containing 136 GB of data. The way in which their dialogue to explain it but won't let me not confident in this respect. The current situation shows that it downloads again everything that makes me concerned about potential duplicates.

My ISP limit myself to 250 GB a month of bandwidth, so re - download the library consumes half of our data for the month. I really want to start using the library, I had already downloaded before formatting and reinstalling OS X.

    Any guidance would be great.

Pictures downloads the complete library again at the slightest provocation.  For example, if you repair your photo library, it will download all the photos again, but it is to check in iCloud duplicates and will keep only one copy of identical pictures. But even once will take to download usually as long as the initial download, it may take even more time because of the correspondence with the photos in iCloud.

What you could do instead was to create an empty photo library on the internal disk, enable this as the library of the system and your iCloud current photo library and wait for the pictures to download from iCloud. It will be faster to download again. The only downside would be that the thumbnails of faces are not stored in iCloud, tags searchable faces, so you should recreate the faces. It will be faster than the initial allocation of the faces, but still a lot of work.

    Hello

as stated in the header after activating the iCloud Drive to include Documents and desktop download stuck guard.

Since almost 2 weeks I started the task mean to ask iCloud to include above mentioned files. Total quantity was about 100 GB download. I have 1 TB of storage for iCloud. iCloud is always download and always get stuck after about 10 to 30 minutes to download. Then I have to restart after that it starts to load only from getting stuck again.

I was on the phone with Apple Care who had no idea of what might happen. They Said and I quote "we have no problem with iCloud download and your problem has not yet been recreated by others."

I find it very hard to believe that I can repro this problem on 3 different systems.

I have Cable speed of 400 Mbps downstream a 25mbit upstream. I have zero upstream of questions to dropbox or Spideroak at an astonishing speed. ICloud is the slowest I've ever known in my life but as I said after 14 days, it has yet to fill about 40 GB. This is ridiculous IMO.

  • How to download icloud on iPhone

I have an opening statement in iCloud.

However, the locations in which it was possible to demonstrate the presentation may have limited/no internet access.

Is there a way I can download the Keynote presentation on my iPhone to iCloud so that are stored on the device?

    Thank you

    -Mike

    Hello, Soniq2!

Be able to access your presentations Keynote on the thumb is certainly handy, and I understand that you may have access to the internet to obtain via iCloud.

If you know that you will not have access to the internet, but you will need your Keynote presentations, you can download them from iCloud on your computer (if they are not already there), and then transfer from the computer to your iPhone using iTunes.

The following article will help you download icloud on your computer.

Keynote for iCloud: download a presentation on your computer

Once your presentations on the computer, you can then use iTunes to transfer them to your iOS device following the instructions in the article from the link below.

Keynote for iOS (iPad): share presentations by connecting to your computer

Even if the title of the article says it's for an iPad, the instructions will work for all iOS devices, including your iPhone.

  • Isolate the iPad Pro downloads since Photo Push SD card to iCloud

I recently made a trip to the coast with my digital SLR camera, an iPad Pro and SD lightning adapter.  In general, I use Photos.app on my rMPB 13 "with a disk external DRIVE containing a reference of all DSLR photos library.  To save space and reduction of risk, I left the combo rMBP/HDD home for this trip.  Download photos DSLR to the iPad was certainly convenient and, at the time, worked very well, especially since I could see both iPhone and blows all DSLR at the same place (learned to love the Apple ecosystem, at least in concept).  All software was up-to-date as of January 3, 2016.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that I was not only download photos DSLR to my iPad, they were jostled in my iCloud photo library as well.  I love the photo library from iCloud, but I need to use files referenced for my digital SLR to support multiple users on my computer (otherwise, I would need to support the two libraries in double, not to mention space iCloud and Uploader for iPad/download bandwidth Mac).  Now I get files duplicate (a referenced, an iCloud) for each DSLR, even after "deletion" versions iCloud before importing the files referenced using the OS X Photos (photos of iCloud returned the next day).  It's particularly bad for me because it was an important meeting (~ 25 GB) and to capture pictures of the iPhone for local backup, Photos on OS X is configured to download the iCloud library.  As a result, I now have about 25 GB of space gnawed on my limited rMBP SSD with these pictures in double; exactly what I was trying to avoid when setting up my external HARD disc reference library.  I think that delete the photos on the side of iOS of Photos will solve my problem (fingers crossed).

Thus, in the light of the foregoing, I would like to know if there is a way to create a photo album on iOS which is isolated from the automatic pusher of the iCloud to Apple servers library?  This would allow me to use the iPad to see all photos of the day, the two SLRS and iPhone (because the iPhone 6 s has made a worthy camera), without screw my system to file it when I come home and break my bandwidth limits...

I would like to know if there is a way to create a photo album on iOS which is isolated from the automatic pusher of the iCloud to Apple servers library?

No, a library of Photos is synchronized completely. all of the photos you import photos can be synchronized to iCloud photo library, or added to my photo stream if you enable these services.      Do not use if you do not want to download all the new photos. Download of your photos by using a USB connection and using iTunes Sync Photo.

On your Mac, you could separate the photos referenced in the iCloud downloads using a smart album "Photo is referenced", since the referenced pictures will not download to iCloud photo library.

  • Download videos from iCloud iPhoto (or Mac)

    Hello

My apologies if this is a stupid question, but I can't find the details anywhere.

Recently, I changed my settings of the iPhone in order to optimize my library and my videos and photos quickly change on my phone from the versions low resolution with high resolution in iCloud. I used to transfer my movies iPhones via plugged the cable and import in iPhoto (photos transferred via wifi, so I've only connected with the cable from time to time to get my videos). Now, they are in iCloud, I seem to have to connect to iCloud, download each individual video and transfer it into iPhoto. I know from reading other messages say that iPhoto should ' t be for videos, but historically all of my iPhone photos and videos are stored here and I am reluctant to have them in separate locations.

Is there an easy way to transfer videos on my Mac, without having to select each individual video and without having to connect via cable everyday before he gets sent to iCloud?

    Thanks much for any help.

    Annette

The easy solution would be to have your Mac synchronization with iCloud photo library as well. If your main photo library on your Mace too large to be synchronized with iCloud, you can set up a library of Photos of second, smaller than your iCloud photo library on your Mac. This sync with iCloud and download all your auto videos automatically.

  • Archives photo library of iCloud?

When I take pictures on my iPhone, my ideal process would be:

    (1) pix from the phone go to iCloud

    (2) pix to iCloud downloaded the photos on my Mac

    3) once on my Mac, pix never get deleted photos except if I explicitly

In other words, the CMA should be archiving, and I should be able to remove the pictures from the phone and iCloud without deleting the Mac.

In practice, #1 and #2 work fine. Problem is that if I delete a photo on the phone, it disappears from my Mac as well.

I can't find a way to keep these photos on my Mac, short export files of Photos. Surely, there must be a better way?

Note that I don't have the parameter 'Download the originals of this Mac' is enabled in settings iCloud in Photos. This does not seem to prevent the deleted, however the pictures.

    I use OS X 10.11.6 and iOS 9.3.5.

In practice, #1 and #2 work fine. Problem is that if I delete a photo on the phone, it disappears from my Mac as well.

That's because iCloud photo library is designed for synchronization, not as an external storage, as your probably know. New photos imported from any device download to iCloud photo library as the centralized storage. Modifications and changes to the photos of any device will synchronize to iCloud and updated on all devices, including the removal of the pictures. iCloud Library maintains library on all identical devices.

I can't find a way to keep these photos on my Mac, short export files of Photos. Surely, there must be a better way?

For your desired workflow, Thomas, I recommend to create a second photo library on your Mac, your Photos of Archive library, which is not synchronized with iCloud.

Let the synchronization of photos from iPhone to your iCloud photo library and upload to the library on your Mac that is synchronized with iCloud. Then transfer them to your library Archive by export and re-import.  Or invest in pictures of power for easy transfer photos between libraries of Photos.

The alternative, which recommends Apple, is to abstain from remove photos from iOS devices and use the "Optimize storage" option on the iPhone.  Keep your comprehensive library on the iPhone optimized version.

I have used this approach for a few months. My iPhone and iPad have 64 GB of storage, and that worked somehow, but is a pain, because we cannot control which photos will get 'optimized '. It's a pain, if I want to create a slide show and pictures are underway in iCloud only Internet available.

I switched back to my photo stream to download new photos from my iPhone and disabled iCloud photo library on my iOS devices, I'm only using iCloud photo library to keep Macs in sync.
