  While this answer is not really a big part of the solution, the answer is at the moment no, or at least not that I know (and I explored the phone long enough at this point).

  I wanted to let people know that the answeer to the question that I asked had answered for most a poster, which suggests the that appworld check updates. even if I managed the elements that need to be put in day in AppWorld not changed icon. I guess I could have erased the only notification icon by going to the "messages" folder and opening the related messages.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
