Icon in the title bar of label.

Hello

I wonder if there is a way to change stupid thei that appears in a window in which Webhelp is open. It's a small globe with a question mark that appears before the title of the WebHelp in the tab or window. I cannot find setting WebHelp or skin that controls it, but maybe I'm missing something?

Thank you!

Hello

You talk about the favicon, see http://www.favicon.cc/. It's just an icon (.ico) file. There are two ways to change:

1. replace whstart.ico by your own favicon.

2. create your own icon and add the HTML code for the favicon in the same page that you want to use (excellent if you use lots of popup windows that would otherwise not use the favicon).

Note: IE is notorious for not (or incorrectly) showing the favorite icon.

Take a bow

Willam

  • How to put a small icon in the title bar of the main screen

    Hi all, I'm new to the BlackBerry Forum.

    I can display a small icon in the title bar in the main Blackberry screen to warn users when my application is received something and it is reduced?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes you can do this by using the following code.

    ApplicationIndicatorRegistry reg = ApplicationIndicatorRegistry.getInstance();                EncodedImage image = EncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("Indicator.png");            ApplicationIcon icon = new ApplicationIcon( image );            indicator = reg.register( icon, false, true);            indicator.setIcon(icon);            indicator.setVisible(true);

    the icon is also grayed out when changes have been made to the photo and not yet recorded.

    does this sound familiar to anyone? I have not changed anything on the computer.

  • How to change the font of the title bar of the JFrame icon context menu?

    Hello world.

    I want to know how to change the font of the text that appears in the context menu is native to click with the right button on the icon that is completely left in the title bar of JFrames which use the default appearance for decoration (JFrame.setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated (true); / / uses the metal L & F, theme "Océans").

    I searched and found nothing. I thought I could use what I learned to https://forums.oracle.com/message/9221826, but I couldn't find something that worked.

    Thanks to advance.t

    After a few more messing around, I finally did! I love so much it makes me a little sad Java how it is difficult to do things like that. In any case, I found a method here to recursively change the fonts of all components in a JFileChooser, but it does not work on the JPopupMenu (now I know the name) who jumps to the top of the icon in the title bar. So I messed around with this method a few casting and was able to change the fonts of the JMenuItems:

    public static void setSubComponentFont (Component comp[], Font font) {
        for (int x = 0; x < comp.length; x++) {
            if (comp[x] instanceof Container) {
                setSubComponentFont(((Container)comp[x]).getComponents(), font);
            }
            try {
                //comp[x].setFont(font);
                if (comp[x].toString().contains("JMenu")) {
                    for (Component y : ((JMenu)comp[x]).getPopupMenu().getComponents()) {
                        if (y.toString().contains("JMenu")) {
                            y.setFont(font);
                        }
                    }
                }
            } catch (Exception ex) {}
        }
    }

    I was inspired by this thread of utiliser.toString () .contains ().

    I also did with nested loops, so the path to the menu items can be seen:

    for (Component a : frame.getLayeredPane().getComponents()) {
        System.out.println(a.toString());
        if (a.toString().contains("MetalTitlePane")) {
            for (Component b : ((Container)a).getComponents()) {
                System.out.println(b.toString());
                if (b.toString().contains("SystemMenuBar")) {
                    for (Component c : ((Container)b).getComponents()) {
                        System.out.println(c.toString());
                        for (Component d : ((JMenu)c).getPopupMenu().getComponents()) {
                            System.out.println(d.toString());
                            if (d.toString().contains("JMenu")) {
                                d.setFont(font);
                            }
                        }
                    }
                }
            }
        }
    }

    Each System.out.println () gives an indication of what should go on what follows if State, so they should be used one at a time. This does not work for the title of the JFileChooser however font. When I have time I'll either look no further away inside or ask another question.

    So, if someone else needs like I did, it's here. As a tip, System.out.println () and. toString() are your friends! That's how I learned what was contained in each object, and which path I needed to take to get to objects of interest.

    Thanks anyway!

  • Icons in the task bar disappeared

    Original title: XP Pro not written Lac program memory information

    After reinstallation of programs or using the Task Manager to stop some sandbox process, then from the programs again to return the status bar icons in the status bar, they disappear after a reboot or shut down and restart. I have a Dell Optiplex GX280, 3.4 GHz with 3 GB of RAM. Two of them are new modules of a GB of quality and the other GB is two older modules of 512 MB. It was an intermittent problem and the tray would sometimes load icons of the toolbar State but now only the clock and running network icons are there after the reboot. I changed the bar of tasks and Menu properties back to try to reset the status bar, but nothing seems to help. A new facility is out of the question with all the security and other updates that need to be reinstalled on this old of a BONE, especially with "dial-up". I just restored a full backup of my external hard drive, but it made no difference. I have a laptop Dell XP Home that works very well. I didn't something different with the XP Pro that I did not go to the laptop.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Notification icons
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/106787-notification-area-system-icons.html

    The tutorial has 3 methods.

    Method is a general method which, unfortunately, rarely works because that box, you need to check usually grayed (unclickable).

    Two method is only for Vista Ultimate and Enterprise.

    Three method applies to all versions of Vista.

    Use the Reg file download. It is simple and easy.

    * Do
    sure that you restart the computer to complete the
    procedures.

    P.S. Despite what the tutorial said, it is best to keep these files reg on the desktop. They will come to hand the next time that you lose one of these.
    I had to use several times. They have the bad habit of going awol.

    Four method is via the registry editor. If you are comfortable with editing the registry, give it a try.

    The easiest and safest way is three method.

    You can also do a system restore. Choose the date where all of your missing icons were present as your restore point.

    Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, click
    > Next > finish
    To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  • The title bar has stopped working and now I can't close the page with the cross or minimize or maximize, cannot close the pages

    Toolbar is not functional cannot use the cross at the top to close and cannot minimize or maximize the pages.

    What program is this (name and version)?

    Are you sure that the title bar is not hidden because the screen is in full screen mode?  Make sure it is in normal mode (usually hit the ESC key will do that).  When you say that you "cannot minimize or maximize or close pages" is because you don't see these icons or press them, and they do not work?  You see the title bar?  Is it the same with EACH program or all instances of this particular program, or only with this page?

    If it's an open program, you can still use the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and do a right click on the prgram open and then click Close.  If it isn't there, it can also be hidden. Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and see if the toolbar appears.  If so right click on it and select properties and uncheck Hide able toolbar and click OK to close - that way it will always show (except when it is in full screen mode).

    You can also press CTRL-ALT = DEL to bring up the Manager tasks, go to Applications and select the program that you want to close, and then click end task.

    If you have access to the Menu bar, you can usually go into file, and then click close tab or simply close.

    If you can help me with answers to my questions (assuming that what I said has not solved the problem), then I will answer you with some suggestions to solve the problem (whatever it is)-, but there are too many possibilities without knowing more about the problem.

    Thanks and good luck!

  • Added drop-down list for the title bar

    Hi - I want to add a menu component from the 'title bar ' of my application.  Something very similar to that implemented in the Poynt application.

    I already gave up to use something similar to setTitle and have a horizontalFieldManager added to my request before I add a vertical Manager.  First, I added a label to my horizontal Manager field and that works fine, but when I tried (to test) to add an ObjectChoiceField he appeared on the next vertical row, not next to my text.  I'm quite lost when it comes to customize aspects of the UI of my BB apps.

    I suspect that the problem here is that, by default, the ObjectChoiceField will use the entire width.  You should limit its width, by substituting the layout and getPreferredWidth for the ObjectChoiceField.  Memory, a LabelField, will ask only for the width it needs.

    Here is an example that puts a DateField and an ObjectChoiceField in the title area.  I hope you can rework to meet your requirement.

    HorizontalFieldManager hfm = new HorizontalFieldManager();
    hfm.add(new DateField("Some Text: ",  System.currentTimeMillis(),
                    DateFormat.getInstance(DateFormat.TIME_DEFAULT)) {
        public int getPreferredWidth() {
            return 150;
        }
        protected void layout(int width, int height)  {
            super.layout(getPreferredWidth(), height);
        }
    });
    hfm.add(new ObjectChoiceField(" ",new String[]{"some", "text"} ));
    setTitle(hfm);

  • Problem: The Page with the title bar, Vertical alignment Center does not work BB 10 keyboard (720 x 720)

    Hello

    I want centered vertically align something (for example, a label) on a page with the qml following, but it is not aligned properly on the keyboard BB (720 x 720), it aligns on the contrary always on top. It aligns not centered vertically as expected on BB 10 all touch (1280 x 768).

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Page {
        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
        }
        Container {
            layout: DockLayout {
            }
            background: Color.create("#444444")
            verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Fill
            Label {
                text: "label"
                verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center
            }
        }
    }

    I realize also realize that if I remove the title bar, and then it snaps as I want. Anyone have a solution this? Thank you.

    Try with this:

        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
            scrollBehavior: TitleBarScrollBehavior.Sticky
        }

    I'm just trying to help here. What does not work is I looked at your code and I looked at my code and I do not have a reference point on what parts do what...

    I want to respond in a tough manner and does not help when I'm obviously confused on the implementation and the instructions are not clear. The documentation is written for someone who has already worked with NFC and protocols, not beginners wishing to implement NFC functionality in the application.

    Based on this kind of response, I'll just leave NFC functionality out of my application.

  • Don't want to see the title bar, address bar, toolbar mode of operation.

    I need to install the application on the client side.
    Here, I don't want to show him the title bar, address, bar the toolbar in operation.
    I want to, the application must be run in either full-screen. For this I created an icon on the desktop, through this user can acess application when the user clicks on that icon then user out by the log in page.
    Purposes of titles, I want Address Bar etc.
    How can I use applications using the full screen.

  • Is it possible to add a mute icon on the status bar

    I understand the desire to keep the clean status bar, but a mute icon would be really useful for many users. This is my first iPhone and I had a LIFEPROOF case to protect it. The problem is that this case does not allow me to determine the setting of the switch ring looking from the side of the phone. The only way that I can know if the ringer is on is to flip the switch back and forth while watching the status of ringtone icon screen.

    Yyou possibly tell there is a problem with the case, but I bet it's true for most cases, in particular the raincoat water ones.  If Apple does not support to add even an icon to the status bar at least Apple could put on display today ' hui / Notifications of menu drop-down.

    You can provide feedback to Apple here, http://www.apple.com/feedback. This is a user to user support forum, and Apple is not here involved. It is the only way for them to know you want to see a change.

    My phone icon left the lower bar.  How can I move it back

    Press and hold on the icon of the app until it wiggles and then drag it in the dock. After you do this, press the home button to stop agitation apps. Note that you can have 4 icons in the dock.
