  I recently updated my software on my BlackBerry Curve 9360 to 7.1 Bundle 2494.  After my phone rebooted, I noticed that my Hotmail account icon has disappeared.  However, the account is still listed in the installation screen, and memo messages still appear in the "Messages" icon  Is anyway to recover the Hotmail icon?  I tried to remove and reinstall the account, but it does make a difference.  Thank you.

  Two things to check, make sure that it has not found its way in to one of your subfolders.  Also, be sure that it is not hidden.  Click on the BB (or) key the Menu key, and select Show all.

I now have a new icon on the bar called "intel graphics media accelerator driver for mobile' tasks and my desktop icons are scattered. What's past and how to fix it.   Suggestions:

  1. go into "View Update history" > mark down the KB # of you February patch.
  2. If your Windows Update is set to Auto, change it to manual.
  3. do a system restore. Choose the date before you install the latest Windows Update as your restore point.
  4. If everything is back to normal after the system restore, ask a question in the Windows Update forum. Ask if this KB # is required to install or if you can ignore that.

  5. soon you will receive the new update available. Check the update. If you find the same update you have problems with, don't install this one until you get the answers from experts in Windows Update.

  How to restore the system:
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, click
  > Next > finish
  To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  These instructions are for Vista, but should work for Win8.

  You first need to you a copy of your data to have just in case something happens. You can find your data files by clicking on start-> Documents-> Palm OS Desktop. Highlight your Palm Desktop user name and right click and copy. Then go to the desktop of your PC, click on a blank spot block and select.
  
  If this is the first time, you install Palm desktop and encounter a problem, go to the previous step. If you are not concerned about your data at this stage, go to the next step.
  
  Now, you want to uninstall Palm Desktop and remove anything that has to do with Palm Desktop on your computer. Go to the following locations on the PC and delete the folders listed below. [C:\Program Files\Palm or C:\Users\[Vista Palm connection name] \appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Palm or PalmOne C:\Users\[Vista Login Name] \appdata * note you may need to show hidden folders to join appdata.   Then, reinstall your Palm desktop from the CD and do a hotsync. If request you a user name, enter the name that is on your device in the upper right of the screen to hotsync.

  First of all, I would like to mention that I tried all the solutions on the web that is about even close to my problem but still not arrived to fix.

  So I decided to write here and hope someone knows how to solve the problem.

  I have a Toshiba boom P50T-A113 Touch laptop comes with windows 8 unique language.
  When I first bought it 2 months ago, he was working well. And I'm sure that I used bluetooth to transfer files back then.

  After that I've upgraded to 8.1 windows my bluetooth device has disappeared.
  I tried to reinstall the drivers from the toshiba Web site but it did not help.
  So I reset to factory settings and return the origin of windows 8, but bluetooth device did not return.

  Here are some symptoms that might help to understand the issue:

  1. it has been a symbol of bluetooth (2 sub-options grayed out of one of them was peripheral bluetooth generic I guess) in Device Manager if I open show hidden devices on the view menu, but he disappeared after the second time I update to 8.1. Now there is no bluetooth device at all.

  2. There was a non-working bluetooth switch greyed just below the switch to WiFi when I was on windows 8, but he went too after 8.1.

  3. no bluetooth in the lower right corner icon.

  4. I installed driver of toshiba system still nothing.

  5. when I try to install the website of toshiba bluetooth stack, it loads some files and installation section stucks pilot bluetooth and asks me to connect the bluetooth device, and then click ok.

  Hello Ann, Hello world, this afternoon was my problem with my project resolved "thanks God". I wanted to thank you for your efforts.

  The solution: a good friend of mine, it's almost a professional relationship with Premiere Pro came back from vacation and I was able to describe the problem him briefly.

  If so, ICS has a different camera app, so there is no longer the old icon (link).

  On the home screen, tap the icon in the upper right that looks like 6 small boxes. Then in this app 'window' find the camera app press and hold the button until the machine vibrates and now you should be able to drag it to the home screen. Tap on the icon and it should (at least in theory) of the device.

  If this does not work, it could be that the app is corrupt. Let me know and I'll upload a backup to install yourself.

  I've just updated to FF15 and all my extensions are missing. Some having to do with AVG "do follow" and the toolbar AVG and others having nothing to do with AVG at all. After a day or two, some of them only to reappear, the AVG "do follow" but was always missing a toolbar. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall AVG and 15 FF and there was no change - the missing extensions. AVG says it's a FF problem. I tried safe mode and no difference. The extensions have been working up to 14 FF, but even if I try to go back to 14 extensions remain missing. I'm puzzled as to what is causing the problem and how to fix it. Any suggestion would be appreciated

  Thanks for the reply. Three of my extension just reappear once again as it had already happened. One being the extension of "don't follow" AVG and two other foreigners to moy. The AVG toolbar is still missing, but it's no big deal since I use anyway, and had disabled. In fact, I'm sure it's a problem of AVG in any case is not not compatible with FF 15. I have read your responses, but I am still confused as to how or why they just disappeared and reappear. As always, thanks for the help.
