IDCS4 - place images at the scale of size or predetermined batch

I've created 6 images in Photoshop that must be placed in the code.

I placed the images on the page, but they are not the same size.

I know that I can perform a proportional scale when pointing black arrow on a corner, pressing SHIFT and then dragging.

I tried scaling of images placed by selecting all and making the make shift drag on a corner, but it is only changing the image in the foreground.

How can I select images all places and scaling in proportion to the need?

Thank you

    I work by setting a special parameter in CSS for the images that I needed to scale and then I have it referenced by SPAN for each img in HTML, not quite how I wanted it to work since now images filling the box even with monitors really big format, which means that they could now be blurred on a 4 k monitor but firefox left me no choice. • Is it possible to place images in the legends of the Muse slideshow?

    I would like to subtitle some headshots - in a slide show - with a bit of blurb written, more images of logo for businesses, so that they worked.

    Thank you!

    You should be able to add images to subtitle a slide show, just like you would wrap text around a picture in a block of text, as described here - http://www.adobekb.com/typography_pt3.html.

    Because soon, you place an image in the caption, you will notice that it would be placed as an Inline element and the Panel layout would be activated in order to move the image around the text.

  • How to place images in the text frame?

    Hi Experts

    I am just placing the image in text frame.

    If the text block is on the pasteboard image is then held successfully.

    If text from outside the pasteboartd block or exists outside the editing table and image not place in textframe while the text is inserted in the textframe.

    My coordinated picture text is:

    x = pt-81, 740

    y = pt - 138, 2750

    w = pt 760,123

    h = pt 1117,944

    It start from outside the editing table.

    indesign #target

    var myDocument = app.activeDocument;

    Try

    {

    var myTextFrame = myDocument.spreads.item (0).textFrames.item (0);

    myTextFrame.contents = "InDesign";

    myTextFrame.place(File("/C/temp/1.jpg"));

    }

    catch (e)

    {

    var k = 0;

    }

    I'm not understand that text is insert in textframe but image isn't the place.

    When I change the text block x = pt 10 and y = 10 points then this good script work.

    How place image in textframe which is outside the editing table?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    The bad news is that you cannot place a new object outside the editing table.

    The good news is that you can move...

    so:

    var myTextFrame=mDoc.spreads.item(0).textFrames.item(0),
    mPlace = [ myTextFrame.geometricBounds[1], myTextFrame.geometricBounds[0] ];

    myTextFrame.move([0,0]);
    myTextFrame.place(File("/C/temp/1.jpg"));
    myTextFrame.move(mPlace);

  • Image of the scale as animation

    Because as much as I get to FCP - X love while learning with the trial version, I have a problem just do an image will be smaller occupant virtually the entire screen (on a colored background) this seems to be the simplest thing to do using transform, but I was unable to set keyframes , even though I hit what I thought, it was the keyframe button.

    Well, okay, here's a screenshot of what I'm trying to do.  Imagine that the image shown here, occupying virtually all screen is at the end of the sequence of the clip, while the whole (not a cropped) image is small at first and becoming increasingly large.  The button (upper left control) diamond between the two < and > arrows is supposed to be the keyframe bomber, (?), but can't seem to by clicking on it to make it go to the Point A. (small) to the Point B (largest).  How is this simple effect?

  • the place images see the rectangular on my monitor, oval circles, there is none of the obvious things

    My computer monitor screen images are elongated, square, showing that the rectangles, circles as small ovals. It has nothing to do with the correction of the resolution (click graphic properties. right / etc. display settings, also control panel not / appearance / adjust the screen resolution) because WHAT ALL THE OF THE CHOICES SHOW INCORRECTEMENT, maybe it's something on the keyboard (which I can have been abandoned or put something on it)? also, I restored the system to an earlier date, that has not helped. I would like an answer from someone who has dealt with this exact problem and not vague comments about what is obvious. Thanks if there is someone out there.

    Sorry to offer concrete solutions, a "could be" but are
    hard to find.

    The reason that all the choices of screen resolution are
    incorrect could be because the needs of your video driver
    Update.

    Windows Vista - updated a hardware driver that is not working properly
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

    Apparently, this is a problem that has recently shown
    itself because you have tried the system restore to fix.
    (Sometimes the system restore fails and must be
    run Safe Mode)

    Sometimes on systems that have automatic windows
    Active updates a video driver will be installed
    is not as compatible with your system as you
    already had. In this case, the answer is to
    Roll back to the previous driver. Or use the system restore...
    If this applies to your system... maybe that you did not choose
    a restore point created before the update has been
    downloaded.

    Windows Vista - restore a driver with its previous version
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/restore-a-driver-to-its-previous-version

    It is also possible that your video driver has control
    the Panel that allows adjustments. NVIDIA (for example)
    a Nvidia Control Panel and includes a ' display
    The Optimization Wizard' which can be useful.

  • the image to the final output size print

    Hello forumers.

    Ive been asked to do a poster A2 size 594 x 420 mm 300 dpi

    but when I enter those dimenstions my pc slows down unfortunately.

    What is the best way to get better performance?

    Thank you.

    Seems to me that your PC can be the source of the problem. Can you put the specifications, CPU, memory etc. While the size of the A2 (approximately 23.4 x 16.5 in French) - easier for me to work in inches is a good size, it's about the same size that a file directly from the D800 and without layers must be about 200 MB. While I have a pretty good system (16 GB of memory with a core i7) I can easily manage the sizes of files 5 x this size.

    I also have an old XP machine with 4 GB memory in the course of running CS3 that can, well a bit slow, to easily manage the files of 400 MB

    While 300 dpi will give a good impression, if you resampled to somewhere between 200-240 DPI, you will always get a decent print and reduce the size of the file. With a print at 300 ppi to 200 MB A2 format, resample to 240 ppi would bring the size of the file down to ~ 130 MB and 200 ppi would bring the size of the file down to ~ 92 MB

  • Ability to place images at the CTI?

  • Place images while preserving the effects of shade

    Hello

    I'm working on a script pre fill works of an internal database, I place images using the following style at the present time.

    imgFrameGCL[index] = addFrame(101, 230, 25, 6, '123');
    imgFrameGCL[index].place(File("/Projects/IDD Templates/icons/gcl.ai"), false);
    imgFrameGCL[index].name = "imgFrameGCL["+index+"]";
    imgFrameGCL[index].fit(FitOptions.proportionally);
    imgFrameGCL[index].fit(FitOptions.centerContent);

    This places the picture very well, the only problem is that these images that I import are ordinary black vectors that can change from one work to the work, how the designers are currently managing this process is by pasting the plain black vector in illustrator and changing the color by swapping the nuance.

    With the above code, open the images one) in the form of links, b) inside a text frame the swatch option is not available.

    someone could tell how I could integrate these images and have shades applied to them?

    Thank you

    Hi Paul,.

    You can not color chart placed in InDesign. This isn't a feature with InDesign.

    You can only color gray scale or 1-bit pixel images without transparency.

    (And that includes images PhotoShop pixel in grey stored with a layer of background only! The one where the name is italicized in the Panel layers in PhotoShop. )

    To work around this problem with the tracks, you could cross-programming InDesign with Adobe Illustrator and paste tracks. Just like the designer done now.

    But it's not sure either. Many things can go wrong sticking traces Illustrator in InDesign. Missing paths. Too complex paths. Changes in the alignment of the race. Etc.pp.

    The best would be Adobe Illustrator script to open a placed graphic HERE, do the work of color in Illustrator by the script, save a new file to HERE and replace the old, one placed in InDesign.

    If it is possible to script Illustrator to the extent you want, I can't say.

  • Photoshop CC: Have a template that I transferred the image to.  The image is too small.  How to resize the image in the template?  Or I have to go to the file original image and resize here over and over again until I have found the right person?

    I have a model I am able to plug different images at different times.  The problem is when I plug an image in this template, I think that the image is either too big or too small.  Is it possible to connect the image in the template and resize the image (and not the template itself) OR I have to go into the file with the original image and resize them it there and then try to plug it into the model to see if it fits - and if it does not fit, return to the original with the image file and resize it again and see if this fits - and so on and so on...?  "" I tried the "image size" option, but it's all or nothing - especially miss!

    Thank you!

    First, make sure that the original image is larger that you need. It is easier to delete pixels that so add nonexistent pixels.

    Place the image in the template.

    In the menu filters, choose Convert to smart object. (Make sure that the image layer is selected before doing this step)

    Now reduce the size of the image of what you need (ctrl-t or cmd - t) when satisfied click return/enter.

    Because the image layer is a smart object, you can replace the inner image in another image and the scale will remain the same. You will find the option to replace the image in the layers > smart menu object.

  • Design of images of the map

    are there good ground rules in the design of your card images?

    How do determine you the "live space" for the image of your card?  to make your design not get trimmed or cut?

    At that time, DPS 2015 does the following:

    -The aspect ratio card format and image (for the top, left and right image) determine the shape and size of the image under the influence of size of card (column & row) and the proportions of the provision.

    -L'image of the map (for articles, banners and collections) is adjusted to fill the area of the image of the map, then centered and cropped.

    General orientation is to use a large images for all images in the card so that you get a good result for the large maps as well as small cards.

    But the main focus at this point is to be very aware of what is at the center of the image. "Artsy" rule of third-party images will not survive.

    There is an interaction between these factors and you have to play with the design of card to make your work plan. Make graphics for a wide and short card image fill the maximum space of a map may take some fiddling with serious at first. Look at the scale to fill the result very carefully.

    N.B. - the brand image is treated differently.

    Brand image is adjusted to adapt, instead of the scale to fill. We do not crop the image of brand.

  • Reposition the Image in the slideshow (and more)?

    Hello! I am a new user of CC of Muse, and I have some questions about some elements of the home page (for now).

    1. I used the widget slideshow by default to create a slideshow of base that spans the width of my page (1024 px), but is only about 200 px (or almost) in height. When I place images for the slideshow, is there somehow I can (without having to buy another third-party widget) can reposition an image in this area fixed? I don't want to "Fill the content proportionally" because I don't want the photo in the original scale - I just want to reposition the image (so that you can see "key" elements - that is, the face of the subject, not their left arm) in this problem area I created.

    2. is it possible for me to add a line to a hypertext link color? On top of the image, I have a hyperlink that leads to another page on my site. The face of the police of the hyperlink is white, but, of course, it is difficult to read when it is overlaid on top of the image. I can add a color contour (i.e. black) to compensate for this white?

    3. How can I create a header 'fixed' (which includes my navigation bar, social media buttons, etc.) which appears on the top of every new page I create? I'm getting around him now, but simply copy-ing and then 'paste in Place' on every page, but is there a more, eh, ' solution '?

    Thank you very much!

    About question 1., it is best to crop your image using a program like Photoshop image editing to show you exactly what you need.

    Muse allows you to anchor the image left, right, Center, etc. using the Position icon in the menu filling, but it was not designed to be a fine listen that you need it to be.

    For question 2, if you use a text link in Muse, you can access the properties of file/Site then click on the button content to change your connection preferences.

    About question 3, a fixed header, here's a video tutorial on what you want to achieve.

  • Difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images, unguarded percentage

    There is something of a difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images. The images I'm dealing with right now were vector images, but it could apply to all sorts of images.

    When you replace an existing image, the behavior of CS4 is to leave the image full frame. In CS3, the percentage was set at 100% as default (% see you when selecting the image, not the container).

    Also when you replace an impage in CS4, the 'internal' picture frame is maintained, while in the C3, the percentage was limited.

    Y at - it sort of investment preferences / settings leave CS4 same wat like CS3 did, when you place an image?

    -Andreas

    If reliinking keeps the scale or dimensions is now a part of preference in CS4, if that helps.

    You can play with this setting and do a few manual rebinding to see if something is appropriate. I'm not a script, but I think you can reset this preference as part of a script.

  • Dialog import image when you place images

    All of a sudden I have this annoying dialog box when I place images in the ID of the CP (options import Image). I went through my prefs, but there is no obvious place to turn off this feature? This is one of those ugly surprises expected whenever Adobe puts a so-called upgrade. I'm tired little of it. Why Adobe - WHY?

    When you choose file > Place to select the file, the Import Options checkbox appears at the bottom.

    When you see the file, double click on it: instead, click once the file you want, and then uncheck the Import Options, and then click OK. As Steve says, this box is in a sticky State. Once you get is off, you can go back by double clicking on the name of the file.
