the image to the final output size print

Hello forumers.

Ive been asked to do a poster A2 size 594 x 420 mm 300 dpi

but when I enter those dimenstions my pc slows down unfortunately.

What is the best way to get better performance?

Thank you.

Seems to me that your PC can be the source of the problem. Can you put the specifications, CPU, memory etc. While the size of the A2 (approximately 23.4 x 16.5 in French) - easier for me to work in inches is a good size, it's about the same size that a file directly from the D800 and without layers must be about 200 MB. While I have a pretty good system (16 GB of memory with a core i7) I can easily manage the sizes of files 5 x this size.

I also have an old XP machine with 4 GB memory in the course of running CS3 that can, well a bit slow, to easily manage the files of 400 MB

While 300 dpi will give a good impression, if you resampled to somewhere between 200-240 DPI, you will always get a decent print and reduce the size of the file. With a print at 300 ppi to 200 MB A2 format, resample to 240 ppi would bring the size of the file down to ~ 130 MB and 200 ppi would bring the size of the file down to ~ 92 MB

    While PNG images display the transparent backgrounds desired, when the final file is published, encompassing the image appears as a white background. VERY ugly.

    Licensed version of Captivate 2.0, graphics created in Fireworks MX2004, also under license.

    Hi Peter at FedEx and welcome to our community

    You could try to remove the transparency of PNG before its importation of Captivate. I noticed that Captivate 2 does not seem to behave when I make pictures because already have transparency, then I use the transparency of Captivate feature.

    It almost seems Captivate becomes confused about the colors should really be the transparent color.

  • Final output size

    Hello

    I am trying to get educated about the size of output and modify a little smarter.  I'm working on an old project that was shot a while ago on a Sony HDR-CX550V with AVCHD 1080i (60 fps).  I know that it is in fact no frames but the field per second.  I've always considered this product goes directly to DVD for distribution, but with interest that many would like it shown at festivals and as faith, the basis, some may want to see in major religious centers.

    We weren't a big production budget - not a lot of fantasy or a Spitfire, etc..  Many scenes were filmed from several angles and this camera has great low light ability, so with a few plugins in AE, many jump cuts make the scenes flow pretty good.

    Here's the question.  I'm editing in 1080i and I have thought since he goes directly to DVD, why not edit in an NTSC image size and Explorer made a lot of moves (simulations of pan, not dolly) with images, then given that there may be a few festivals, instead, I could export the final in 720 p.  This seems reasonable?

    Also, can I set up my settings of sequence and interpret images preferences to allow me to use the clips in their nativeframe for this type of installation size.  When I change my settings in sequence to 720 instead of 1080, the images change to fit the new settings, even though I turned off in the preferences settings, the box "defaults to the setting".  The pictures always seem to fill the display area of the monitor of the same program any size I discovered.

    Sorry if this is not clear.  Also, I use a graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, 64-bit Vista Home premium, CS5.5

    Thoughts?  Thank you

  • Printer for card 300 GSM with the option "custom size print.

    I am looking for any printer capable of printing on card 300 GSM and supports custom print sizes (135 x 135 mm)

    I tried:

    -HP ENVY 4500 series - is not feeding the paper, 300 g/m² must be too thick.
    -HP DeskJet 3050 - feeds very well but does not print "custom" paper.

    Think that I am interested in a bowl right paper so that it shouldn't stuck like ENVY.

    I have reviewed these options:

    -HP Deskjet 2542

    -HP Deskjet 1512

    -HP Deskjet 1010

    One of them would be enough? If this isn't the case, someone recommended a different can?

    Hello

    I'm afraid of those who does not meet your needs:

    Both the support HP Deskjet 2542, 1512, and 1010 up to 200gsm.

    By checking the higher end models, I'm afraid of those who can't stand such an example, models like the Pro Offiejet supporting up to 280gsm 6830, Officejet Pro 8610 support up to 250 g/m² for example.

    I'm afraid there is no current consumer HP inkjet that can meet these needs in terms of the thickness of the paper.

    Kind regards

  • Addition of a new paper in the dialog box size print CS6?

    Some paper companies have published a new document size - 9 x 13.

    I find it excellent for Fireworks and prints some architectures.

    Problem is that I can't settle in CS6, Set Up dialogue to obtain any document printed correctly. The printer (from two Canon 9000mkii/9500mkii) always have a border. Red River (the book I use) sez use 8 x 12, but there is no parameter 8 x 12.

    Can anyone help to set up the paper size in the print menu CS6 (PS manages color) so the copy is inked 100%?

    Thank you!

  • A script to increase the minimum canvas size? (Like Image to adjust, but with just my canvas)

    First to be clear, I'm looking to manipulate the size of the canvas. No image size.

    I want to create a script to automatically increase the width and the height of my canvas in Photoshop to a size specific, when necessary. I don't want that to happen if my canvas is smaller than the specified size. For example: Let's say my canvas size is 300 x 250. I want the Web to be at LEAST 600 x 600. If I run my action, it will increase the size of the canvas to 600 x 600 for me. If I run this same script on an image where the size of the canvas is already 700 x 700, it did nothing for her because the width and height are equal to or greater than the size of my target.

    She will also work with the height and width on an individual basis. If my image is 400 x 800, the action would increase my width of 400 to 600, but he let the height of 800 only. If the final canvas size will eventually be 600 x 800.

    It's a bit like the option 'Adapter the Image' in Photoshop, but I want only to manipulate the size of my canvas, NOT the size of my image.

    You can try this:

    // resize canvas in either direction if it is below a defined minimum;
    // 2011; use it at your own risk;
    #target photoshop
    if (app.documents.length > 0) {
    var myDocument = app.activeDocument;
    // set to pixels;
    var originalRulerUnits = app.preferences.rulerUnits;
    app.preferences.rulerUnits = Units.PIXELS;
    // set the minimum values;
    var minWidth = 600;
    var minHeight = 600;
    // get current ones;
    var theWidth = myDocument.width;
    var theHeight = myDocument.height;
    // resize canvas;
    myDocument.resizeCanvas(Math.max(minWidth, theWidth), Math.max(minHeight, theHeight), AnchorPosition.MIDDLECENTER);
    // reset;
    app.preferences.rulerUnits = originalRulerUnits;
    };

  • Converting PPT to the Captivate file size - why is is on the rise?

    I have Captivate 7-64 bit. I'm trying to convert several .pptx presentations. Each presentation is about 60 MB. Curiously, however, when I convert, they increase in size to 320 MB or something close. A few months back we did this same thing with a presentation of 70 MB, and it rose only 20 MB. Any ideas on why this would be or how to keep it small? I still have audio input and this will make that huge file!

    Thanks in advance,

    Arthur

    The difference between the .cptx and the final output file was negligible - something like 20 to 40 MB. Whatever it is, to work around the problem, now, we simply recorded each slide in the .ppt as a jpg, reduced resolution and quality, then downloaded to them. That, at least, is now small enough so that we can manage it. Still not sure why we can't just import the .ppt himself well that without it increases tenfold and without certain images does not. This conversion of .ppt feature seems useless to me. In doing my research, it seems everyone rally articulate it is the best option for the conversion of .ppt. May be the case.

  • Camera shake works in preview, but not in the final rendering.

    Hello. I tried Googling and searching forums and coming hands here is empty.

    I use After Effects of CS4 with the latest updates.

    I have a project with a unique model that contains an AVCHD clip related to an adjustment layer.

    I used the earthquake keyframe mode some fake camera shake by manipulating the 'Transform-> Position' field moments adaptation layer keys in the images. If I scrub through or do a preview (press 0 and let pre render) it looks fantastic with the music video of shake exactly how I like it.

    But when I save the project and add it to my queue to render the final output has * no * of the camera shake!

    I'm completely baffled as to why this might be. That said I only use AE for about a month so it is possible that I have made a simple noob mistake.

    The adjustment layer and the images are both the visible value. I see clearly the keyframes in the timeline panel and as I said the preview and cleaning shows the effect in action... But the final result (regardless of the format or resolution) have no shake in them either.

    Help!

    I just tried to do exactly the same thing and it works very well here.

    If you want, e-mail me your project folder (under the file video source) and I'll take a look: arozenfe (©) adobe.com

  • Final output rendering: CPU vs CPU + GPU

    Hallo,

    I would use my Nvidia GPU to speed up the rendering of the final output of the projects of Premiere Pro and After Effects to Adobe Media Encoder. Now as far as I know, which allows the GPU acceleration for rendering of the final output in the AMEncoder really accelerating him process significantly. But I have a question about the quality of the production. The addition of acceleration GPU has an influence on the quality of the final result make? I read on some for a comment indicating that only using the CPU for the final rendered result gives results of superior quality, then when using the CPU + GPU acceleration combined? But on some other blogs I actually found that adding statements to process the two GPU speeds up the time required (becomes much faster), and actually increases the quality of the result final render?

    Does anyone know if there is a difference in quality between CPU vs CPU + GPU rendering to final output? I'm working on a 64 bit Windows 7 computer)

    Thanks in advance,

    Sebastiaan

    GPU accelerated export is expected to equal or exceed the software quality in all cases

  • Are there already experiments with FM 2015, scaling of the image to its original size in the HTML output

    FM 12 provides the following procedure (as read in the manual) to see the images in original size in the HTML output. I did and was happy. But now in 2015 of the FM, the operation is no more.

    > >

    In the Setup file (settings.sts) you can set the image (default size) the parameters width and height to 0pt so that images in the HTML output are displayed in the original format. FM 12 it worked fine. The result was, that the style to the statement tag < img > is deleted in the HTML code output, so that the images keep their original size. But now in 2015 FM it seems there is a bug. The same procedure has the effect that the style statement is in the HTML (is not deleted) and width and height are on 0x0pt. The result is that all the images are invisible. If I disabled 'Preferred size' images in the HTML output are always scaled down in a 'random' size, nobody knows where it comes and how I can trouble or spend that in 2015 scaling of FM.

    > >

    Anyone who has ever even erperiences with the new 2015 FM?

    Hello

    There was a bug in the publication process of FrameMaker for which we had planned a work around to set the width and height 0pt. Now we have fixed the issue when you set 0pt as the width images will no longer appear.

    Now in your output images will seem to have the same size, such that they appear in the documents of source if preferred size is not defined. If this isn't the case, you can share your example of source document so that we can have a look.

  • How do you control the position and size of the images, IE. photo to the printer?

    HP Officejet 8600

    Windows XP

    I'm trying to figure out how to control the position and the size of the photos or photos that are included in an email that I send to my printer via HP ePrint.

    Hello. The process that I mentioned using Word provided that if we were send emails to the printer from a computer. If you just transfer emails from the iPhone to the printer there is no option to control the position of the jpg print. This isn't something that can be handled right now on ePrint.  The attachment will be printed on a separate page. The body of the email will be printed separately of the spare part.

  • In regards to the final quality, what is the VERY BEST way output an InDesign to Photoshop file?

    I create a file for an online ad in InDesign... because I'm primarily a print designer, because it includes text and images, especially because this is the program I work faster.  I create the final size required for advertising.  All done, all approved. Final online publication requires a jpg file.

    So... I can export of ID as a jpg. Or, I can copy all and paste it in a new PS document, then output jpg for the web and devices. Or, I can save/export as eps/PDF and open THIS file in PS, , then the jpg for the web and output devices. There's probably more. And of course, I could just create in PS if I have TO. What SHOULD I do wind up with the clearer jpg to the correct file size?

    I think maybe this post in the PS forum, too, and see if everyone agrees on a method. Thank you, all.

    Raster InDesign export functions are questioned regularly here in the forums, so even if it's something I have never, I have a distinct feeling that it can be quite problematic.

    I would say the InDesign > export > PDF / open a PDF file in Photoshop > save for Web gives you the most control over every step of the process.

  • Image resolution Question 150dpi vs 300 DPI in the final layout

    In the final a file offset color printing, does make a difference if the images in the document are 150 dpi or 300 dpi? I know that they should not be less than 150, but making it more IPR makes them really better? Or is it just that the larger file? If you think that it makes the image more, please let me know why. I would be particularly interested to hear from someone who works with a printing press. Or if there is something on the Adobe Web site, addressing this issue, please add the link.

    Thank you

    Marilyn

    I would not, as a matter of course, save a picture which was dimensioned for its final dimensions less than 300 ppi, unless there is not enough pixels to do without increasing the resolution, in which case I would put to the best resolution pixels will build at this size. It is easier to downsample later if you find that you don't need a resolution that many do not have the data you need.

    Tips for talking to the printer are not reserved for books. It will tell you what type of resolution of the image you need for any project, and it may very well have a set of custom options PDF to give you.

  • Pre set the size of the final file

    I'll try to find a method that allows me to pre-define the size of the final file to for example 1.8 MB. The idea is that I can set the size of parameter file (e.g.1.8MB) and lets say a resolution of 72 dpi for example. I run the command and Photoshop reasambles image to pixel dimensions necessary until I find myself with a file exactly 1.8 MB with a resolution of 72 dpi.

    The reason why? I need to convert 3500 images that are exactly 1.8 MB. The pixel dimension are not relevant in this case

    N ° not in PS. It doesn't ever work under very specific conditions, in any case. You would need to settle on a format that uses no compression or a compression method that is predictable and compress the same amount regardless of the content of the image and the program must have a way to enforce a file of cropping and scaling automatically size to reduce the number of pixels. Sort of a safe for the Web on steroids, but using uncompressed TIFF or something else. It may even be necessary to run the algorithm of coding in reverse and in a loop of trial and error and even then, the question is, how exactly the size of the file must match. Apart from some obscure programming demos which produce images specifically companies or generate specific buffers for testing purposes, I have seen nowhere implementation practice.

  • Determine the ratio of output size in BI Publisher

    Hello

    We need to send to printer large and smaller reports to be sent by e-mail. Does anyone know how to determine the result of running the report and change the method of delivery based on size?

    We are using 11.1.1.6.10 BEEP and using webservices to run the report. In runReport(), the report is sent as Base64Binary data and the deliveryMethod must be changed according to the size of report output. We use PDF, HTML, and CSV output formats, but do not know how to retrieve the size of the content of the report.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

    We used 'sizeofReportDataChunk' tag in the runReport() XML request to determine the threshold of the size of the file output and inspiring as we do the logic for the features.
