IdeaPad A1 do not start

Hello

All of a sudden my A1 no longer starts. After a few days, I tried to use it, turn it on, and...

After connection, only Silver Lenovo logo appears, nothing more.

It's that he can't start a same mode of recovery (market + Volume Down). Again, he just Lenovo logo appears and stays there forever.

I also tried different approaches described here in the forum or XDA forums. With plug the SD bootable etc. But nothing helped. Like all need A1 go to recovery mode.

Are there other ways to fix it?

Perhaps by plugging it into the PC with the cable USB etc?

I guess I need some drivers then.

I would be gratefull for any help/ideas, how to record my A1.

Thank you.

Hello

you just may have not noticed. Solutions that you recommended apply. The A! can be turned, it is just thatit turns on a logo Lenovo von appears and stay there forever. It's not bot properly. Even in recovery mode.

In any case, I contacted Amazon and they offered a full refund, so the A! is going back to them.

So problem "resolved."

    Hello! Need some advice.

My Ideapad s10e abrupt does not start. No coolers, no POST, nothing, just black screen and silence.

The last time worked perfectly well, not fell, a no overheating, no had no any liquid spilled on, doesn't have the standby mode.

Does not start with or without POWER, battery, RAM and disk block HARD or the keyboard.

When I plug the PSU the blue LED turns on and when I press ON the button (or arrow) chrome battery led gives a light flash for a split second: these are the only signs of life.

Tried to take out the battery and pressing the power button for a minute, trying to take out the battery for the night - no result.

Since I very rarely use this machine in particular, my suspicion is that battery empty BIOS, so until I have disassemble the netbook completely, I wanted to check if the impoverished the BIOS battery can produce such symptoms.

  • Lenovo Ideapad z585, will not start?

Hi, I have a problem with my laptop.
So, I've had this laptop for a while, and it worked pretty well, until yesterday. I had closed the lid to put to sleep, like I always do and came back a few hours later to find frozen windows. As completely, any movement of the mouse, no indication that something is happening, frozen.

So, I turn off by holding the power button down for a few seconds, wait a minute and turn it back on. To do this, its normal startup screen (Lenovo logo, with a circle of spinny points downwards), but for a lot longer than it normally does, and it then goes to a start menu.

Now, I am dealing with this kind of thing before (recently in fact, on my main PC), and my first thought was the bios screwed up somehow. So, I'm going on the Lenovo site, for retrieval/update the BIOS is an exe file.

To be run on the computer, inside Windows.

What I intend to do, is what I did to fix my main PC a bit ago: make a USB stick to boot MS-DOS, throw the files of updating the BIOS out there and start from the key (which worked). But, I don't know if it will work with an EXE, and I do not know if this laptop starts from him.
Moreover, I had just recently reinstalled a 8.1 clean Windows, and I'm almost certain that I do not have a virus, because I Win. Defender running (I know, I know), and this thing is almost no action except note at my college, and record the gameplay through a capture card.
Yes, sorry for the wall of text here, but I could really use some help with this.
    Thank you!

I was able to solve the problem.

I removed the laptops HARD drive (don't worry, there is no guarantee to cancel in any case) and connected to my main PC, he wiped down, put it back in the laptop computer and reinstalled Windows. It seems to work a lot now.

I can turn it off by holding the button market / stop, but when I turn back the problem is still there. Windows does not start.

I was able to go back to Windows that day after leaving just laptop without any power and battery.

I called Lenovo and they suggested to disable the standby modes use put into hibernation. I did it. When the screen saver started, something went wrong, computer got froze and I had to restart, but then again, black screen and no reaction.

    Anyone have any ideas?

  • Lenovo Z585 does not start on a DVD - jump directly to Windows

Hello, I just got a new IdeaPad Z585 from newegg, and I can't figure out how to boot from a disk in the drawer of the DVD.

I tried to open the BIOS and change the boot order, as well as simply go directly to the start menu. I tried with UEFI both active and disabled, as well as Secure Boot both enabled and disabled. No matter what I try, it does not start in any DVD.

I try to install Linux and tried different discs and distributions of this. When no even reached GRUB, I tried a Windows 7 installation disc, and even that is ignored.

    What should I do?

    Hello
The secureboot and uefi must be handicapped simaltaneously. You can try if you haven't.
Also, could you try pressing the novo button to power your laptop. The novo button is the button of reocovery key a small next to the power button. Has then access Startup menu see if it helps.

  • Lenovo Ideapad S206 does not illuminate

    Hi all

New to the community here. S206 IdeaPad my wife does not, or rather it turns on but not start/start. The power light is on, as it is the light of the dough and I can hear the fan, but the display is blank, and there is no sound. I checked the other posts and the suggestion to remove the battery and start with the AC doesn't seem to be an option, because it is solid state (the battery can only be removed by removing the back panel.) If anyone has encountered this before? All solutions? Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. In fact, I just find off the screen has been damaged, or the connection between motherboard and screen. Had to take it to someone to fix it, but at least it's not the motherboard.

    Thanks again.

  • Black MacBook does not start

I have a 10 year old black Macbook, which does not start when a battery is installed.  If it is connected without battery installed, it lights up, but if there is a battery in it, even if it is plugged in, it will get the startup sound and the screen of the Apple gray, then turn off.  I got a new battery and charge it where the charger turned green, but the results are the same.

    Any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what is happening with this machine, since the time and wear are considerations. I don't know what version of the operating system that you use, but there is a sequence of things you should do - in order of severity.
