• SOA Management Pack more in OEM Gridd 10.2.0.5 for Soa Suite 11g

  Howdy,
  I'm trying to figure out if SOA Management Pack Plus in OEM Gridd 10.2.0.5 provides a view into BPEL Process Manager in SOA 11 g.
  
  I have this working against a SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 Environment Management Pack run on Oracle Application Server. In this configuration, I configured Gridd OEM to discover BPEL PROCESS MANAGER. With this work, I can enter different details on BPEL processes such as status, configuration and performance.
  
  Now I have a new environment - WebLogic Suite with SOA 11 g in there. I discovered in OEM Gridd WebLogic Server. However, I'm not able to discover the BPEL Process Manager. I'm starting to think the process that worked for SOA 10 g does not apply in SOA 11 g and there is not a coorisponding hook in the SOA 11 g of Gridd OEM BPEL process.
  
  If none of this makes sense and you have some information about this so I had to appricate it.

  I think that you want to monitor SOA Suite 11 g running on WebLogic.
  SOA suite 11 g is not certified with 10205.

  SOA suite 11 g BPEL PM part of SOA-INFRA which is a unified runtime platform
  for BPEL/mediator/rules etc. Also the BPEL process is packaged in SOA Composites that are consistent
  with architecture of the SCA

• The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service (PNRPsvc) or peer network (p2pimsvc) Identity Manager service does not work

  I get the following error message when you run windows network diagnostics. I ran the diagnosis because I have a network with Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a computer and WinXP 32 bit on the other.  Curiously, I can easily see and manipulate all files through the firewall of Windows XP. Either way, Windows XP can not see files on Win7. I can drag files to the shared folder, XP can see them, but can not open the same when I enable the share using Win7.  I can see the Win7 computer name and I have a home network without password. When I click on the folder with XP, the error popup grey box says that I might not have permissions to access these files. Contact the administrator of systems etc. My network has the same name on both computers, so I feel totally betrayed by what is happening here. There should be no problem but there is a.

   

  I get this error message when you run windows network diagnostics:

   

  The Peer Name Resolution Protocol service (PNRPsvc) or peer network (p2pimsvc) Identity Manager service does not work, The Peer Networking Grouping (p2psvc) service depends on these two services to work correctly

   

  I've followed these tips nothing does not:

  the menu. Select Services results.

  Check the columns of type status and commissioning for "Start" and "Manual".

  Those who are not running, then select properties in the right click menu.
  Click the startup type box and select manual in the menu, then click on apply, then OK at the bottom of the window.
  Now try to Start the service for the option in the main window.
  Try the homegroup connection, if the service starts

  Try a reboot if all goes well. The settings may or may not stick!

  If it works fine in safe mode with network, try to put your system at startup mode minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.   Method 2: Studied the problem and found the solution. A file has been corrupted and remove he got running PNRP service. The file has been re-created correctly when the PNRP service started upward. Here is the file for future reference:

  'C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst'.

• Install on the new instance of SCOM 2012 Dell management packs, questions...

  I was given a task to install SCOM 2012 to monitor a lot of servers, including Dell.  Problem that I am running is when I try to install the Dell Management Pack, it keeps asking me for the Dell device to support COM + user/pass.  I put in the account to use us to access these machines, but it does not work.  I tried a few other user/pass, but nothing seems to work.  I'm really new to Dell servers (first time I'm doing business with them) so not sure what is the problem.  I can't find the good research to find a solution to this problem.

  Can anyone offer some advice?

  To extract members without providing identification of the AD information, you can run the Setup program on your desktop computer / laptop (no Windows Server version). The credentials of the AD are required for the configuration of a DLL, which is necessary for servers using WS - MAN (called Out-Of-Band followed in the product documentation).

• Cannot save the Management Pack Configuration in VROPS

  We started to experience a strange problem with our new VROPS 6.1 deployment when you try to configure certain management packs.

  We have 3 VrOPs devices deployed, Master, Master Replica and collector remote monitoring 3 standard vSphere (2 vRealize and a NSX) deployed using VMware cluster more practices and are working well. We had some problems with our vSAN where we lost a large amount of data because of a corrupted data store which meant losing our vCenter cluster Resource and Management 2 devices. Our vROPS / /vRA of the PSC devices / instances were fine as they were running on other storage. We had to re-bulid our vCenter but now have everything back running as expected.

  However... We started to add the vRA and SCOM management packs in vROPS which works well and sets up very well... but then something strange happening after about 5 minutes of data collection... the Configuration of each of the vRA and adapters SCOM disappears... And data collection stops. For more visit, it seems that someone has gone and remove the configuration of the adapter, but this isn't the case, because no one else has access to this environment.

  In any case, now when we try to re - configure an instance / configuration of an adapter we can not save the configuration of the card after we successfully test the connection we get this strange message that I have attached a screenshot in this post.

  The message reads the following:

  1. Unable to create the resource to HAVE it. Resource with the same key already exists.

  We have tried to remove the packs management, PAK re - install and replace the existing, but it does not work we always get the same error when trying to save.

  We are not now able to save the configuration of the vRA or SCOM adapters... and I'm a bit puzzled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I had similar problem. Which user are you logged as? There is a problem with the user rights and management packs. Only the local administrator users must be used, try to connect to this account and see if your configuration is not there already (such as msg of error States).

  1 - we have user accounts in our database for students and employees in our academic Institute.

  2. we have a Microsoft active directory for employees only, that was created many years ago.

  3 - our web applications (weblogic server, ADF, other) use user accounts to database for authentication.

  We plan to create a server active directory for students, we thought about using Oracle identity manager (OIM) to do.

  is it possible to just directly sync & manage student accounts of microsoft oracle database active directory through IOM.

  By my understanding, looking for some sort of tool to create users (doing the commissioning) in a target (Active directory). If this is the case, yes IOM will be a great tool for you as it has connector AD that have this capability.

  Trying to help even more: research from the perspective of the solution, my understanding is you will make this workflow:

  (1) created in the Oracle database user. (2) then this user will be reconciled database of IOM, IOM DB connector (in other words, the user will be created in the table user IOM). (3) then IOM will be a process of supply to create this type of user in AD, using the connector of the IOM.

  But I would put another suggestion here:

  If you are looking for just a matter of authentication using the users of the database as well as users of the AD. I want to suggest to look deeper into the OVD (Oracle virtual directory) tool. It is a great tool that allows you to have views of the two targest(AD +DB) at the same time and make a simple Ldap authentication against this specific point of view once. By my understanding, this can be a good option in your solution as well. Please check more on these two IDM products to:

• Management Pack for vCloud Director (vROps) connection problem / authentication adapter?

  I'm trying to configure the Management Pack for vCloud Director (Cloud Management Marketplace |) Solution Exchange) and I seem to be having trouble with the simplest thing. I have the Solution installed and configured for most, but for some reason usually reach out and join the vCD server, or have a kind of authentication problems. When I test the map with appropriate powers (local and LDAP in vCD), I get the error:

  Cannot establish a connection on the target system. Logon failed! using Host = < FQDN > User = < adminuser > @System

  The adapter puts the @System after him, or is this something so simple, that I'm more thinking than he. I'd be happy to post any kind of newspapers if needed, let me know what you need.

  You HAVE to put @system, as it should work with or without. the base public REST API URL is assigned within vCloud Director? See the manual page, installation 28...

  Have you checked for ports Firewall open between the machine virtual analytical and vCloud Director host?

  Media pack Readme for the parts needed to download for the various products of the EMP, Essbase has Oracle Identity Management 11 g Patch Set 5 (11.1.1.6.0) for Microsoft Windows x 86 (64-bit) listed. Can someone please tell me if this is a must have. If this isn't the case, under what conditions do this?

• Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 - application of Architecture

  I wan unable to find the appropriate section while posting this question. Kindly move this question to the appropriate section.

  If am deploying Forefront Identity Management (FIM of Microsoft) on a single server environment (which means that FIM Service & FIM Synchronization Service will be installed on a single system that is running Windows server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2, right?) and I want to use IBM DB2 & IBM Directory Server or database Oracle and Sun/Oracle Directory Server what I have to install Active Directory (AD DS) on a Windows 2008 server where the FIM and the FIM Synchronization Service will be be installed?

  And, how will this work if I want to deploy in a Cluster environment?

  Say, my FIM Service is installed on the computer has, FIM Synchronization Service is installed on the Machine B. Can I install the database (DB2/Oracle) and the directory (IBM/Oracle) on one server (IE Machine A or B)? Or can I install this on a third system i.e. C Machine ?

  If installed on 3 systems, claims one AD DS anyway for these 3 systems to communicate? Or if it'll work if these 3 systems are implemented as local servers to windows?

  If the answer to the first part of the question above (in bold) is AFFIRMATIVE and the FIM deployment is expected in a cluster environment, and I intend to use other providers database & Directory Server, no matter what either installing Server DB2/Oracle Database & IBM/Oracle Directory should I install Domain Services Active Directory?

  I suggest you to set the service to automatic and check if this is useful.

  a. click the Start button and type Services in the Start Search box and press enter.

  b. find the Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRPsvc) services or services Peer Networking Identity Manager (p2pimsvc), set it to Automatic to clicking on the service and selecting Properties and change the Startup type to Automatic.

  Method 1: I suggest you try a clean boot and check if the problem persists in the boot.

  Method 2: It could be that the NVRP svc and p2pimsvc is corrupted, remove entry can help you solve your query. Check the following location and delete the file idstore.sst
