• The identity plate editor problem

  Greetings,

  I'm trying to customize the "identity plate" in Lightroom 6 CC.  When you try to install the "style text identity plate" or the "graphical identity plate" the free "Melt" domain for free buttons I cannot change the font size.

  Regardless of the type of size I choose that it is up to 70, with result the 'import', 'Developing', etc. areas poorly displayed.

  "Below one can see that the font size is set to"11", and yet the"library,"develop", buttons etc. are too large.

  

  After a click on the 'OK' button and the 'identity plate Editor"re-opened the font size has been reset to '70.

  

  I need comments to work around or fix this problem.

  It works well here.  You probably need to reset your preferences file.

  

• LR 5.4 identity plate

  I just installed the new version 5.4 LR, but I can't change the identity plate.

  It is not a major problem, but it annoyes me because it's always the first thing I do...

  Someone knows what to do?

  

  You can not change the identity plate "Lightroom", you must use the drop-down list to choose "custom".

  

• Mobile identity plate

  I can't move the identity plate to the location on the draw where it should be. I use Lightroom 5.7 and worked right up until a week ago. When you click on the print window identity plate signature appears in the center of the image but without the border and it is not mobile. No idea how I can reset the identity plate move feature? Thanks for the pointers.

  There is an option under the identity plate called "make on each image", please uncheck that option and then try.

• Cannot change the information in the identity plate

  Let me see if I can explain it so it makes sense.  I working on a slide show and you want to put something on a first page in the show.  I add the title I want to use my identity plate but when I try to bring some old information comes and I can not remove it.  The text he is trying to use does not appear on the drop-down window or it appears on the Board to the top of the page for the identity plate.  I can't get rid of this information, and he wants to use the new item that I added instead.  It will allow me to use my copyright and the title of my main but, for some reason any, when I try to use the new title, he evokes this former title, which is actually a combination of two older, but they are not anywhere (that I can find) to be able to remove it.   UGG!

  You need to highlight current information in the box? A Ctrl / Cmd to select all type, then enter your information in the box, you should see change at the top. Register so that you can again if you change.

  You may have accidentally placed the identity outside of the cell plate. Try to change the scale to 100% and see if it reappears.

At this point, I have both registered in the identity of the Lightroom print module plate and tried to get them in place on a model. He wants me to place one or the other on the model in the picture, but not both (which I need). How can I get both on a template and then save this model so I can just pull up and start shooting prints during the event? I'm not WiFi devices yet so I intend import to Lightroom from the SD through my Macbook card and then wired to an Epson photo printer. Test prints I have the air out well with the box logo or title across the lower part, but I really need both on prints for my client. Thank you.

  Why not use watermark custom logo and him custom identity plate for the title in the LR print module? You also have the option to add the title at the bottom of the image using 'Photo Info' selection "Custom Text". After installation, you can save this as a new model. Unless I'm missing something, it should do the job.

  You have the style of provision as the Gallery of the grid and for this reason, that identity plate is not present in the Site Info Panel, which is the expected behavior.

  Identity plate option is only available for the provision of Gallery Classic style.

  Whenever I have create a new catalog the identity plate becomes a name. How can I change the name so that when I create a new catalog he retains the name rather than by default the original name?

  I understand that identity plate info, such as logos is not new catalogues. How can I change the name of watch?

  Hi PvanE,

  There is no option to put the identity plate globally for all catalogs.

  You need to repeat the steps to set the identity plate whenever you create a new catalog.

  I have reduced an identity plate text box to zero in error and cannot get it back.

• Cannot use transparent tiff as identity plate.

  I just installed Lightroom 2.3 and I would like to place a logo on all my images. This logo has a transparent background. However, when I load the tiff file in the identity plate, it comes with a white background. The size of the image is 57 pixels wide and 51 pixels high. The resolution is 200 pixels/inch.

  The identity plate instructions say I can drag or paste the image into the box, but I have not been successful in doing so either.

  Help, please.

  I don't remember if transparent TIFF is supported. Have you tried to convert it to a PNG file? I think that trasnparency is supported for png.

• Make an issue of stylized text identity plate

  When you do it for a pdf or a slide show, the text I type is 1/2 way point to the bottom of the little white box. Cannot find out how to get a new line of text. I hit enter and just the window closes.  So I have to make a long line, and even then it starts to disappear from view at the bottom of the window. Thank you!

  To get a new line, you must hold down the Alt/Option key when your [[ant the return key.

  Note, above defintely works on Mac platform, but some users have reported that it does not work under Windows.

• Colllection Sync buttons unavailable. Connection version 5.4 No. identity option plate

  I try to sync with Lightroom Collection Sync Mobile: identity plate is hidden when the catalog is opened.  I can't find it and see no option for you connect.  Synchronization buttons are not displayed next to the collections.  There is no option on the create a new collection to allow synchronization.  I'm on LR version 5.4

  Synchronization buttons are available only when you have connected to mobile Lr. If the area of the plate is not displayed to allow you to connect, you probably hid the Module picker (upper panel that contains the module selection buttons and plate). Press F5 to restore.

  If it isn't that, please post a screenshot of the Lightroom library Module.

• Identity as a background plate?

  I want to print a page using a picture as a background and then having other frames cut out for more photos.  It seems that the only way I can do it is by making an identity plate graphic then made behind my custom packgage State.  Has anyone found a better way to print on a background?

  Do you know that you can put an image cell as background and then put the other cells on the top, when you use the custom Package?  And if you do a right click on the background image and click on the Image of the anchor, it will show on each page.  You will need to do any opacity in other software first, however.
