IE always opens the last session
Whenever I first start it is to say it opens the last opened page of my last browsing session.
I made sure & double checked that he has set to open my homepage (google) whenever I start it, but it never does.
Any ideas?
Thank you
If you do not completely close the Version of the modern UI of IE it always open exactly where you left it, because it suspends the Application.
To completely close an Application modern UI drag to the bottom of the screen and hold it pressed until he turns and now it is closed. Next time you open IE the modern user interface it will open to your homepage.

Firefox opens the last session and tabs regardless of settings.
For the last month or two, I had this problem as well as others. Kept getting a popup to set my search engine, I did several times without success. This question went. Tab question remains.
No matter what setting I use open the previous session. I have Tab Mix Plus 0.4.1.8 so I've disabled that and checked the settings in FF to open to my Home Page. No good, don't always open the previous session.
This was not a problem with Tab Mix Plus over the years that I used it. Exactly, I removed it from the Add - ons. Options of FF and together to start with the Home Page and restarted FF but always opens the previous session.
Including a snapshot of the modules enabled.
What is the cause?

Your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.
The user.js file will be present if you or a other software created this file and normally will not present. You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.
You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).
The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session. You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

Windows hides certain default file extensions.
Among them .html and .txt, so you can see only a user file name without .ini and .js file extension.
You can check the type of file (file extension) in the properties of the file via the context menu in Windows Explorer. -

Opened the previous session.
InDesign CS6
When I open the new document, always open to the top of the last work first.
Why InDesign opens the last session, all the time, and how to fix it?
The lock file is not the problem. The problem is that not you close the windows document before leaving InDesign and your OS X system prefs are set to restore the windows of the previous session.

Why Firefox always opens with the last session tabs?
When I open firefox always opens with the last session tabs? How can I solve this problem?

I am using Windows XP PRO 32-BIT... I read (and checked) all options but still can't find my last session of navigation of yesterday. I opened a new tab in 'My Favorites', only one tab open, so now, this tab is my "last session"...
What can I do now, please? For my research, some I might be able to remember, some are my favorites, but can't always remember the names to find them again, I have a lot of tabs open!
I have a lot of files bookmarked...
Previously I always managed to restore by clicking the Session Manager to restore the last session, but the button seems to have disappeared. Please, I'm old and need of (detailed) easy step by step instructions!
I just remembered I have some work early this morning, it worked well then. I went to make breakfast. When I came back, the computer was disconnected and restarted. But I have no idea why.
Maybe something happened? I cannot now get this morning session or session of yesterday, with all the tabs I had open for research...
Thanks in advance...
SylviaThe user.js file is not there by default.
It is present than if you or other software had created, so if you can't find it, then it's OK.
Note that Windows hides file .js extension, probably, you see only a user with the type of JScript file. You can see in the screenshot in this article how the words: support page is supposed to look like and where the button is located in the Application Basics section below the user agent.

The question comes down to my needs. Where are stored the "last Sessions"? I backed up my drive "C", My Documents, my pictures, etc., so I should be OK with bookmarks. But, I would also like to be able to access previous sessions.
The current session is stored in sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder.
There are also backups in the folder sessionstore-backups that you can copy the sessionstore.js file make Firefox to use this file. You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

whenever computer stops because of the cut to the top or any other reason while you work in Mozilla Firefox as the use of Facebook. When you turn on the computer and open Firefox it stores the session, without asking for password or username that the effects seriously privacy.i has been using Facebook on Mozilla and my computer shuts down after a few minutes, another has turned on the computer and it went into my account on Facebook because of the last session of restoration. Please, do something about it. This is a larger problem in Firefox
You can set the browser.sessionstore.privacy_level pref 2 (never) or 1 (no HTTPS, default in the Firefox 3 versions) on the topic: config page to disable the registration of cookies via session restore.
To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page.- Use the filter at the top bar of the on: page config to more easily spot a preference.
- Preferences that have changed see the bold (user set).
- Preferences you can restore the default value or change via the context menu.

all the boxes are checked except:
-Require the connection for non-admin users mark
and
-Always display the security optionsThanks in advance for your help
You log on to a domain? If so, you will need open settings of biometrics ('bio' type in the Start Menu and select 'Edit biometric setting') and check the box "allow users to log an area using their fingerprints. Save the changes. It is somehow changed in 5.9.4.

I can not open the last closed tab, does not begin with the tabs
Recently, I noticed that I can not open the last closed tab (the choice is there, but is grayed out).
Then, during the restart, I notice that the system does not restore the tabs visited - even if this choice is made in the Options.I recently installed KeePass and its extension in Firefox and it seems to work (I don't actually use it often). And, recently, I had a problem where the system would resize my pages (as if I hold down the CTRL key while scrolling to me.
Several reboots corrected this problem - but now I can't resize by pressing the Ctrl and scrolling (while holding the Ctrl key and tapping the - key will be resize the window).
Any ideas on how to solve this problem without a complete reinstall? I have been copying my Firefox profile from one computer to another over the years and I am worried about losing my data / preferences.
Thanks in advance!
-John
Uninstalled KeeFox and the problem disappeared.

How to remove the last session of the user of the SQL backend?
Sometimes the user session gets closed between some of the work for any reason.
When the next time that the user logs on P6, he gets an error or special functionaly dosen't work for this user or the system hangs.
In this case if I decided to clear the history of the last session of this user from the databases, how to write the SQL query?
I don't want to remove all user sessions in the table USESSION and USESSAUD, I just want to remove the last session of the user to particular user (e.g., XYZ).
