If I install pse 8, I'll be able to use previous versions on the same computer?

I have PSE 4 x (86) installed on windows 7 64-bit programs. I have PSE 8 comes with a CanoScan scanner. I understand that I can't have both open at the same time on the same computer. However, if I close 4 PES, I'll be able to open PSE 8 on the same computer, and then use both with full function?

While surfing, I fount this quote from a person who reviewed the PSE 8;

http://www.Amazon.com/review/R3RXGF78TR8WHD/ref=cm_srch_res_rtr_alt_5

"To install, the PSE 8 recognized PSE 6 was already installed. It does not force an uninstall of version 6, but eventually invites you to select the version to use. I chose 8 PES, and completed without incident the PES 6 uninstall later. The installation routine will advise you that you can uninstall the version at any time, but you will need to select which version to run. »

So, does this mean that once I chose the option of the EP version 8 when installing, I won't be able to use 4 PSE? Again, I intend to have only a PES open at the same time and close a version before I opened the other version.

I really love PES 4 and ideally, I want to be able to use the PES 4 and 8 of the PSE on the same computer. Either 4 PSE opens by itself; PSE 8 or by itself.

I hope that I was clear and appreciate any advice at all. Thank you

Yes.  Each version is standalone, standalone application.

I had the unconscious idea that a person can install windows as much as they want as long it is on the same computer and it has the same material, but it may be a different partition.  So I guess I can legally install MS Windows Vista, 7 or xp as many times as I want as long as it is on the same computer.  Maybe that's how integrators.

I have VS2009 on my machine. I would like to install VS2010 as an eval to start porting more implementation to VS2010 before I pull the plug on VS2009. These bothe perhaps installed and functional-by-side on the same machine? Are there objections to bounce back between the two? I already have the prereqs listed on page eval VS2010 (NOR-DAQmx 9.1.5, NOR-RIO 3.5 and NOR-XNET 1.1).

On the same computer, you can have NI VeriStand 2009 and 2010. If you have developed an application in 2009, you can migrate to 2010 using the tool of mutation in 2010. However, you won't be able to open a project from 2010 in 2009. For example, if you have any custom devices or personalized workspace objects/tools they have developed in the same version of LabVIEW that NI VeriStand. In other words, NI VeriStand 2009 can only use the custom devices created in LabVIEW 2009 and NI VeriStand 2010 can use custom peripheral performance created in LabVIEW 2010.

You must install Flight simulator on vista as well as Windows Xp and vista are two different operating systems.

You log in to vista, you may not use any of the XP application and vice versa.

  • You can install streets and trips and highway 2010 on the same computer?

    1. is it possible to install streets and trips 2010 and highway 2010 on the same computer?

    2. don't they install as separate applications or both detailed maps are visible in the same application with the same characteristics, and they are available by simply scrolling between Europe and North America?

Waiting for the delivery of the two in the next few days.

    Hi Kentana,

Yes, certanly you have both programs installed on the same computer. I currently have on my three laptop Microsoft mapping applications:streets & trips 2010, Highway 2010and MapPoint 2010. There is no conflict between them at all. Everyone settles in its own records. You can even have multiple versions of each on the same PC, for example you could keep an old streets & Trips 2009 on your netbook, install the new 2010 Street and remove the old 2009 a few weeks later after that you are satisfied with the performance of the new 2010.

Each program operates independently, and the European version will not show the data of the product in North America, and vice versa.

More information about these Microsoft mapping programs can be found at http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/microsoft-streets-trips/

  • Is it possible to have the 64-Bit and 32-bit operating system installed on the same computer?

    * Original title: installation of window OS

    Hi all

In my system, it's already installed 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate. I want to install 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. Is it possible to have two operating system installed on the same computer? Can I do it?

    PL, guide me positively.

    Best regards

    Kapil Kumar.

The amount of RAM is okay as long as you have a minimum of 2 GB installed. Even if you have more than 4 GB, it would not matter, Windows 7 Home Premium just won't recognize it.

In respect with the both, you can set up a dual-boot configuration. Please note that you must have a unique product key to activate Windows 7 Home Premium.

See the instructions how to set up a partition:

    http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/dual-boot-Windows-10-other-versions-Windows/

References Windows 10, but the same instructions for Windows 7 also work.

Click Start, right-click computer, click on manage

    Click on disk management

Select the system partition in which Windows 10 is installed. Right-click, and then click on cut.

Enter the amount of space you want to allocate to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, then click on cut. The more, the better.

An unallocated partition will now be available. Right-click, and then click New Simple Volume

This will start the wizard new Simple Volume, which will allow you to format, assign a drive letter and volume label.

Once your partition is ready, you are now ready to install Windows 7

Boot from the Windows 7 Home Premium disc, then

    Click Custom (advanced option)

Select the partition we created earlier, and then click Next.

Wait for the copy of the Windows installation files.

  • How to install windows server 2012 and windows 7 or 8 on the same computer

Hi, I want to install windows 7 or 8 and on the same computer that I want to install windows server 2012 or 2008 I have not decide which one to buy again, and my question is, at the time where there was windows xp and windows me (x 9) for example, you must install first as millennial basic then install xp on another partition in my case I want to know is - it possible to do it without the virtual machine, and if this is the case, which windows must be installed first as the basis...

Thanks a lot for taking time reading this, looking forward to your reply...

You will need to ensure that the old version of Windows is installed first of all, in this case (Windows 7), then you can install Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 after on logical partitions. Please see the following:

See the following for how to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 8 (the same principles can also apply to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012)

How dual boot Windows Vista/7 and Windows 8

If you plan to have all three installed, make sure that configure you partitions in advance with ample space for all three.

  • install two copies of windows oem on the same computer

Installation of two separate copies of OEM windows 7 on the same computer (an ultimate, a home premium, the two 64 bit) the problem is that I can't hide (do it completely unavailable - mask not only) the first installed OS of each from the second partition (identified as "oem partition") when it is started in the second operating system.

I would like to do to use the ultimate as a main working OS operating system (be able to load up with various applications, databases of workers etc. etc., that once everything is loaded tends to emphasize the system a little (it does not as effectively as I would like).) I would then use the partition Home premium for latency sensitive things. boot between the two and other work is managed by linux (grub 2)

the disks are defined as readers of ahci uefi (couple of ssd for boot/apps/pagefile)

Is it still possible? (even with me having to buy the commercial versions of the os (non - oem), or microsoft is trying to wrest a sort of copy protection scheme

the two disks (main) are set up as follows
/ dev/sda1 to fat32 (for gpt disks) startup (resized to 500 MB of 128)
/ dev/sda2 unknown ms reserved (this is set here as part of microsofts uefi partitioning installation sequence)
/ dev/sda3 ntfs first installation (7 ultimate) operating system

dev/sdb1 unknown ms reserved (see above)
dev/sdb2 ntfs second os install - he actually complains during installation that it cannot install on the partition, but he does it anyway

Thanks in advance for any help

I forgot to add the second installed operating system know the partition indicator 'hide '.

Microsoft has never designed a version of Windows that can hide another version of Windows.  You will need to use a boot improved as Manager:
