  The text object is defined in a Text.xfo file, on my system, it is under C:\Users\BR001\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Designer\10.0\EN\Objects\Standard.

  You can find the location by looking at the properties of the Group of the library of Standard objects;

  

  You can also create your own widget, set it up on the design finds out how you want and right click then 'add to library' (option has moved, but that's what SS3).  But I don't think you can get your own ones will appear in the drop-down list when you try to convert objects.

  Hi all

  If I try to add effects like text > numbers or obsolete - text base of a solid in my computer, I get the following error message "effects error: could not convert Unicode characters.» I did some research on this and found people who had the same problem when you try to import images or images. I get the message while starting a new layout, adding a solid and then try to add the effects mentioned above, there are no images or image in question here.

  I am running Win7 Professional 64-bit service pack 1 (English) and after effects CC (12.2.1.5). I don't think that this is part of the problem but here's more info (just in case) material:

  -NVIDIA GTX 570

  -Intel Core i7 2600K

  -16 GB DDR3 Corsair (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)

  -ASUS P8P67 Mainboard

  I'm under AE cc on a Lenovo U310 also and have any problems, so I guess something must be wrong with the operating system or AE on my main PC. Does anyone have an idea, what the problem?

  Perhaps it is by default a font that has problems on this particular machine. The program crash completely or this error popping up just one mind?

  Update my ESX to version 4 Update 1 (4.0.0, 256968). Now, I'm trying to add a new data store to a cluster in vCenter and receive the following error message when I will review the current structure of the disc "error when configuring the host: failed to get the disk partition information. When I click back, then next, there's no error message but in the formatting window, I get the error "Object reference" not set to an instance of an object.

  I see this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find an appropriate response. Anyone? The interface using CLI instead of vCenter isn't an option (alignment VMFS, workload and so on)

  If you have a virtual machine for Windows test, you could do the following, to ensure that the logic unit number has a clean partition table:

  -set the LUN as a GROSS physical to virtual machine device

  -Run diskpart, select the drive and run the CLEAN command

  -detach the LUN to the virtual machine

  -try to create the data on the LUN VMFS store

  The size of the block of the data store where the VM test can be a problem with the above. Due to the size of the LUN, the size of the block of the data store must be at least 4 MB. Attach the LUN to a physical test system could be an alternative.

  Don't forget your footer items are marked as a footer element and that your text box is not.

  Right-click on the components and check or uncheck the footer element

  I have a HBox and add displayobjects like textinputs dynamically in the HBox in a horizontal way.  for each new displayobject I have add horizontally, there seems to be some padding between each of the displayobjects added.  I tried to disable all (padding, borders, etc.) on every displayobject, nothing helps.  How can I get rid of this useless space between children?  Thank you.

  space between objects in vbox and hbox are controlled by verticalGap and horizontalGap.

  Your horizontalGap value 0 to close any space.

• Getting disconnected when you add an interface VLAN

  I am trying to configure a switch SF302-08MP in a test environment with a couple of VLAN. A default state, I configured the device to be in mode L3, added a VLAN and then added an IP interface to this VLAN. The problem I have is that as soon as I add the IP interface for the VLAN I create I lose connection to the switch immediately and either have to reconfigure the interface through the CLI or restart the device to lose my changes.

  I realize, I can configure the box through the CLI to find my connection and complete the configuration of my VLAN, but I'm trying to get off a good process to configure it through the web interface (outside the facility in L3 initial mode of course).

  For that, I connect to the IP address by default on the VLAN 1 (192.168.1.254). The measures taken include:

  1. access the CLI interface and set the mode of L3

  2 reset

  3. access to the switch via a web browser on 192.168.1.254 and login

  4. Add VLAN 2 (management of VLANS / create a VLAN)

  5. Add the Interface IP (IP Configuration / Interface IPv4, selecting VLAN2 when you complete the add interface of dialogue)

  6 lose the connection to 192.168.1.254 when you click on apply

  I did this on other switches in the 300 series in the past in the same way without problem, but for some reason, that this switch 8 ports gives me problems.

  Any advice would be much appreciated.

  On the 300 series switches, when you add the first IP interface it will remove the interface "generic / by default. Of course, this will remove your access as you saw.

  Simple around this problem is first of all create a new interface for the vlan 1. You can set this in the 192.168.1.254 or together for what you plan to use.

  Once done, you should now be able to create interfaces for other VLANs without problem.

  I have a set of custom (in general) components that extends spark components. But when you add our custom mode component creation, how can I set defult (in AS3) values.

  For example, s:Button default = "Button" label when adding application, or mx:DataGrid has 3 predefined columns, but when you use custom components there are no presets like this.

  I can put these values in the constructor, but they are not visible at the time of the design, only run time.

  Not while you're still editing the project.  When you have completed the project and shared it and are sure that you do not want to do any editing more far, you can delete the whole project.

  If you do a significant amount of iMovie editing you really need to put your libray (ies) on a large external hard drive.  Another thing you can do is to divide your work between different libraries and move those that are not currently on a removable drive.

  The above error appears when you use access Keychani to run the add-in, when I use the route of the control panel to add I get a slightly different error

  So it seems to be a sandbox configuration problem?

  What functional problem you have, if any? Log messages are not a problem in itself.

  I don't know if it's a bug, but certainly doesn't seem like it should be the case. I tried on both 64-bit and 32-bit on windows 7. Does not make this error on XP or vista.

  Can someone explain to me what is happening?

  To reproduce, in windows 7 make a file or folder, and THEN add a ".". (period) to the end of the name of the file and look at the file "disappear". It's still there, just need to refresh (F5) and it reappears (w/o of the annex "." because it's an illegal file naming convention).

  I tried to do the same thing but through command line and it always auto corrects names of files to the conventions, and correctly, it remains on the GUI, so I think that the problem is related to the graphical mode of name change
