IFRAME misfortune

I've never needed to use before iframes, but one of my clients asked to be able to integrate image galleries wherever he wants on the other pages.

My clients are not allowed to integrate javascript or PHP scripts. they can only insert HTML and CSS. So the only solution seems to be the iframes or objects. Iframes with the best security objects, I chose to focus on this solution.

A question, I've met is that I can't seem to completely remove the iframe border: see below, where are the top and left borders:

gallery.jpg

I tried:

Using DocType HTML 4.01 in the iframe because HTML5 seems to lack support for some css iframe.

IFRAME {}

frameborder: none;

border: none;

border-color: white;

frameborder:white;

Any suggestions?

You have tried to add frameborder = "0" at line in the iframe tag?

  • Geolocation API works with sandboxed iframes or provide an error

    The navigator.geolocation.watchPosition function call does not work with sandboxed iframes where allow-same-origin is not specified (so the iframe counts as a unique and anonymous origin). I assumed that in so doing the iframe in sandbox inherits is not permission to use the geolocation API to the site that contains is a smart decision. Personally, I wish I had a way to create sandboxed iframes that can also use the geolocation API, but I don't understand if that is not implemented. However, a sandbox or an iframe also does not receive an authorization error when using the geolocation API that is completely wrong and makes it really difficult to debug.

  • iframe content appears in Windows 7 or Mac FF

    I read almost all the messages on the frames displayed in FF, however, I have a strange problem. While I am able to get the iframe to display, NOT the ENTIRETY of its contents is the display. It's weird. An example page is below, click on the virtual tour tab and you'll see what I mean. All the code is displayed. This also happens for another page with the same type of code. This works fine in Chrome/IE PC and Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

  • iFrame problem of text?

    Hello

    I have a few files (HTM pages) that I access through the FireFox browser. These pages have a collection of links. Some of them are in the /iFrame [iFrame] annotations. Those who point to URL images work fine. The problem I have is an iFrame I have this link to a text (URL) looks like it doesn't. The box "looks" white (the same color as the page background).

    However, when I click and highlight inside the iFrame, the text is indeed there. How can I get the text appear in these boxes iFrame? (I tried with [Embed], same problem).

    - Pj

    By default, Firefox uses transparent background on iframes. Apparently a plain text document reverse correctly in this scenario. Not sure if it is a bug or if there is no applicable standard and IE is just more useful.

    I suggest using a style rule to change the background color of the iframes. If the page in the frame (HTML page) sets its own background color, which will take precedence.

    Here's a "Violin" which gives an example: http://jsfiddle.net/KV9Ct/

  • anchor named links do not work in iframes

    In developing my site web I came across the problem that Firefox does not scroll to the targets of links of anchor named in a page, when the page is in an iframe.

    In seeking solutions, I read a lot of dated 2010-2011, it is one thing to security... and many supposed solutions, which only work for certain situations, not mine. There was also a lot of people who cry 'FAULT!' because of this, as there is no risk that not involved so that never, and I agree very strongly.

    It is now 2014 and it still does not work, I still see nothing wrong with the practice of link in a document, not mater how or where they are displayed. It's actually a procedure standard and highly recommended for proper navigation and W3.

    I love the Community open source and I thank all participants for their contribution to Firefox, but your developers need to find a way to fight against the attempt to exploit the vulnerability, rather than destroy the vulnerable code itself, at the expense of the savvy folks less code like me who want just to get simple web content. When I read the answers to your developers, I've seen many not humble cop out answers I expect only from the likes of Microsoft, which I hope you do not try to imitate. That is to say, is not the problem.

  • My Avast antivirus tells me it blocks "JS:Iframe - DPX [Trj] Infection" whenever I use Mozilla I have removed and reload Mozilla but still not the mess

    My Avast antivirus tells me it blocks "JS:Iframe - DPX [Trj] Infection" whenever I use Mozilla. I have removed and reload Mozilla but not always the message. Can someone tell me how to remove this virus that apparently focused on Mozilla. Thanks Bill

    If the problem is caused by an extension, you may need to remove. At this point, I would be just guessing because there is no a list in your system more details.

    Opened to the top of the Add-ons page, using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then consider whether you know it's useful and do not forget to install it. If this is not the case, turn it off and if it looks suspicious, remove it. (Sometimes a button Delete is not available when the extension has been installed outdoors. We'll come back)

    Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    "width ="600"height ="450"frameborder ="0"style =" border: 0 "allowfullscreen > < / iframe >"

    An iframe is a way to integrate one web page inside another. You can not open the link directly (I tried). Without doubt this is supposed to show some information on Google Maps, but you will have to go back where he comes and try another approach.

  • An iframe element works weird in Firefox - ideas, why?

    Hey there,

    Sorry if this isn't the right category, but I couldn't find one that seemed most appropriate. I have a question about the iframe element. My page there are like this:

    < iframe height = "0" width = "0" src = "< some_URL >" > < / iframe >

    in the < head > element. The purpose of this iframe is carry out some work in the background and it is a legacy code - anything that is currently developing. When I show the Mozilla page, I see a point in this iframe. When you use IE I don't see anything, what is expected.

    Any ideas why Mozilla would show this point? I use version 19.

    See you soon,.
