  Layer of colors is not an option on board animate; but to change the layer name is the same as in Ps: double-click directly on the layer title.

  I want to "jump" to a specific slide in adobe captivate using interactions created in a file hosted from edge. Is someone able to help me with the javascript code needed to do this?

  So I don't know what was going on in April which did not possible but now 9 Captivate at least you can below to communicate a slide jump in Cape Town from the edge.

  I have an Edge file with a unique symbol to this topic called edgeButton which is just a simple rectangle with text on the subject. On the click to edgeButton event, I added the following script:

  On the side of the course of things, I set up a simple empty project with two slides on it and have disabled the PlayBar. On the first slide, I imported the OAM Edge file from above and on the second slide are just a simple text caption so that you know you have arrived at this slide after clicking on the "Click me" button in the animation of embedded edge. Here is a visual aid for the CAP put in place:

  First, we add a Pause action so that the project does not automatically. Then we add a Javascript action to perform on the window 'active'. The script in the window Javascript crap is:

  What we have done here is connect Edge (that Cap incorporates in an iframe) with Cap using the postMessage function that allows document windows communicate with each other. Since the Edge object is inside the DOM of the CAP, the script of edge must publish its message to its parent window, which is the Cap document window. Add the listener for the event message to Cap on its current context of window and after receiving the message that we call the function slideJump and suss out the string that was sent to the wire using event.data, which in this case will be "2."

  If you're curious, here's a Stack Overflow write to postMessage . Communication between edge and Cap can work in two ways via postMessage, btw. Here is an example where we do something similar, except that we control an animation of edge of assets to Captivate with postMessage.

• Accidents consistent with edge animate and Yosemite

  I use Edge animate running on a macbook pro and it crashes every few minutes (as many other reports).

  The program is updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled.

  Sometimes after a minute or two of work, display features disappear. Keep the old bounding boxes, but with a careful cursor action, I can always manipulate the image or symbol... until that overall the program freezes. Other times things just stop working (for example, trajectories). The only solution is to force, exit the program - button on the crash view rarely works.

  Whenever it breaks down, it seems to create another Adobe Edge animate CC 20141 Helper in the activity monitor (not sure what that means). I tried to remove them, but it does not help.

  In the console, I get

  There are 43 (!) lines that are identical to those above.

  It is obviously a known issue and needs to be acknowledged and corrected!

  No thanks to Adobe, but thanks to a friend. It seems that, for me, the problem was a chrome task so I removed Chrome and it works much, much better. I rarely down now rather than crashing after 30 seconds before working. Do not forget that you get rid of everything that belongs to Chrome - I searched "completely remove Chrome."  Good luck!!

  There is no need to uninstall. You can have both versions of the edge that is installed on a system.

  And select the 'CC 2014 simulation' menu dropdown and download and install.

  With the wonderful edge Animate and the JQuery Ui library external (for the drag), I did a wheel that you can move with a scrubber bar.

  I used Jquery Ui to drag so I simplified the code.

  Your cardinal spinning direction runs through animation scenario, Yes? If so, you can use the utility function "_getTranslation" below to calculate how frame to rub in, based on the position of the scrubber. Put it in function of sliding. This function "_getTranslation" basically takes 2 sets of min/max values and an input value and returns a result value. Note that you need to find a way to convert your values Math.atan2 degrees, before transmitting the values of this utility function.

  With regard to console.log:

  Console.log ("testVar =" + testVar); is EXTREMELY useful. I use all the time to get values and find where the code is breaking, etc.

• TB, slow and not meet with 'The Script is not responding' mailWindow.js CAUSE: McAfee (new)

  I have been using TB and its predecessor Eudora for years without any problem. These last few months I met it is very slow and usually "does not" clicking on something before the end of the thought. At this point I sometimes get an error message "chrome://messenger/content/mailWindow.js:180", saying that the script has stopped working. I click on continue and it resumes.

  After reading the various posts on the topic several times I did 1) re-indexed 2) made a clean installation 3) disabled modules 4) run in safe mode. Nothing seems to improve things. typical symptoms are:
  A. Download emails seems to take normal time, but their display in the Inbox can take a minute or more (used to be instantaneous) by clicking in the intermediate product, the message "not responding".
  B. Sending messages seems normal
  C. selection of a mail in the Inbox, or try to move or delete one takes a minute or more. Click on in the meantime generates the message "not responding".
  D. generally every action with the mouse has this long accompanied "not responding".

  I use Windows Vista, McAfee is installed but disabled does not make a difference.

• Edge Animate - elements not be loading or are slow to load on mobile devices

  I made this edge interactive animation animate.  All the graphics have been imported at the edge of the Illustrator as svg.  It works wonderful on desktop computers.  However, when I tried it on my Kindle Fire and the iphone 6, it's very slow and some elements didn't load at all.  Anyone can shed some light?  Thank you very much!

  After that, open MAO from the Start Menu (Windows) or the Applications (Mac OS) folder and then click on the link 'Install' right of Adobe Edge animate.
