Ignore the color of links in page properties?

Hey there ' All!

Quick question here.

Y at - it by far to get a link on the page of a different color than the other links. IE. I have my link on orange color in my page, I have a new link that I put in place this morning on a red background and orange looks like really bad. I want this link to be white, but I did not wany any other links to change color. I hope that makes sense.

Thank you

You have other css into conflict later in your styles.

Move the a.whitelink at the end of your css and it should fix it.

    Hotspots are areas within an image map.  IOW: a single image with several different links on this subject.  You get no effect hover on image maps. I'm sorry.

  • Change the color of links (text)

    I imported a combo of banner/menu bar in Dreamweaver that I slit in and saved from Photoshop. I got the related menu items until properly, but do not know how to add the OnMouseOver, for example, to make the color of the text change. It doesn't seem like I can do this through the Page Properties. I add CSS styles to menu items?

    Thank you!

    Yes, you could do this through CSS.  Refer to this page: http://www.w3schools.com/CSS/css_pseudo_classes.asp

    Essentially, these are the selectors that you'd be using:

    a: link {color: #FF0000} / * link not visited * /.

    a: visited {color: #00FF00} / * visited links * /.

    a: hover {color: #FF00FF} / * mouse over link * /.

    a: active {color: #0000FF} / * selected link * /.

  • Customization of the colors of link tag?

    I'm working on our company website, but I hit a problem. When I define a css rule for all links on the page change the color that I defined. What I want to know is how to set link colors separate.

    Please, look at the link below and see what I mean. The links in the top navigation bar must be white on a blue background, while the links in the middle of the page must be in black on a white background. Am I missing something really simple?

    It is my first css site. I seem to be creating a lot of css for text rules there at - it easiest than formatting each div with its own rule text?

    Yes - apply your text formatting styles in a rule body tag and leave to inherit in each container on the page.

  • [SOLVED] How can I change the colors on Firefox 'about' page?

    I would like to change the background color of the pages 'on' #EFEFEF or a named color if this code can be used and, if possible, the police of color as well. The white background is my main goal.

    I am hopeful that the color (s) can be changed using the userChrome.css file.

    I was unable to find an answer to the specific question or any source providing a list of element and attribute names.

    I'm using Firefox 20.0.1 on a Linux system.

    About pages are you referring?

    You will probably have to each of them individually through code style in userContent.css.

    @-moz-document url(about:blank){
     * { background-color: #EFEFEF; }
    }

    @-moz-document url(about:config){
     * { font-size: 11pt !important; }
     #configTreeBody { background-color:#f0f0f0; }
    }

  • Back to ignore the color in the Style Options?

    Hello

    Tell me if I'm wrong. In the Options of Style of character, there is no way to set the color of the character of "ignore"? Fix?

    In other words, let's say that I set a character to blue style. Then I change my mind and decide that I don't want style character to substitute the color parameter of the underlying paragraph style. There seems to be no way to adjust the color back to "ignore" in the character style options dialog.

    If I am not mistaken, is there a reason why this is the case, or it is just an oversight?

    Thank you

    Ariel

    Of course there

    Click CTRL or CMD click on the color selected in the list and it should resolve to ignore.

  • How to change the color of the IMAGES-links

    Properties of the page is the only place where I can find to change the color of the LINKS. This works for text, but not to the border it automatically around a linked image. It's Purple! Can't do white to blend into the background? I already changed all the colors of link in the properties of the blank page and the link around the image is always purple! Anyone who is familiar with this phenomenon and how to work around? (BTW - in case you're wondering, there no border specified in properties or css style)

    Osgood:

    Thank you for responding. I did as you suggested and unfortunately it did not work. But you made me think of HTML code and so I went on the HTML tutorial site. I found some jargon of the Image border. I entered Border = 0 in the Source code of the Image and it worked. Link to color purple border.

  • I can't change the color of the linked text?

    I have a black background on the side of my web page containing the menu bars, which requires that the link text is white, so it can be
    view. I also changing to yellow when you go over it.

    The problem is that this setting seems universal throughout the site and I can't see the links in the general text (such as ' contact)
    links, etc.) on each page to change color - they default to white that does not appear as the background is also white.

    I tried to create a CSS rule for the links in the body of a page, but nothing helped.

    Can I change the color of links on different parts of the Web site?

    I'm relatively new to dreamweaver with little knowledge of CSS, etc, but I don't know that this should be possible.

    Yes, it is possible to have Different color links...
