First of all, you're not telling the forum what version of Windows, edition and service pack level your system is running.  Please do.

Secondly, there is no describe your system.  Tell us who makes your system and its model, if a packaged system.  If not packed, please tell us who manufactured your motherboard and model.  If your video card is another box and not originally shipped with the system, please tell us the manufacturer and model of the adapter.

Finally and most importantly, please read 555375 Microsoft Knowledge base article, how to ask a question.

Now, in general, unless your system has a card mother Intel®, you do not want to download an updated directly from Intel® driver.  If there is a system, you will want to download an update of the driver support from the manufacturer of your system model site.  If not packed, see web site for support of the manufacturer of the motherboard for your updated driver model.  If this isn't the case, a card mother Intel®, the reason for the not to load the Intel® GMA 3150 drivers from the web site Intel® is that there may be unhandled in the Inte® base drivers implementation changes.  Nor should download the drivers through Windows Update, except as a last resort.  If Windows Update contains an updated driver, check you motherboard of the system/website of the manufacturer for updates.  Be aware that some manufacturers/motherboard of the system (e.g. Dell) don't feel any economic incentive to keep the drivers/firmware to update if a motherboard system was abandoned.

    Hello

If the reinstallation of the system with the recovery CD does not help, then it is not a software problem.
This means that some hardware component is defective.
In this case, you need to take your laptop to the service.

  • display driver has stopped working and recovered

In my laptop, I get a message from the display driver has stopped working and my screen goes black and crash suddenly

    Details of my laptop are
    Compaq 620
    Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU T6570 2.10 GHz
Display map Mobile Intel(r) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
    Hitachi HTS545032B9A300 ATA Device driver
    Display Mobile PC screen 1366 * 768

    Help, please

I would start by removing the current driver and installing the latest driver available.  (yours is 5 years old)

"It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

  • Display driver has stopped and recovered

Hi, since a few days I get freezes and blackout and display driver has stopped running and was recovered. It happens when I am on youtube and continues to make, so I just turn off my computer. I had this happen before on my old computer, but that computer is brand new. I've had this for a few months and I have windows 7 64-bit XP.  MSI G41M-P28

I searched for solutions to the problem and it is said it can be many things: RAM is overheating (but my computer doesn't seem to be hot.) Overclocked? I don't know, or need to update and download new updates for pilots. I had my computer checked and it showed 67% of drivers are ok, and 33 percent are not. But I want a free service and that you must have a subscription and there are fees.
I'm so confused.  :(  I can't assign to computer and it is very difficult for me to understand. I have files that I don't understand what they're doing, and I need to have surprised location for the files to another drive / location I don't know.
Please can someone help me and explain the problem and what I can do about it. And please if it can be a very simple and easy way that I can understand step by step :)
    Thanks :)

  • NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped from working properly.

well, I have a HP pavilion dv6000 with windows vista. my laptop has a recurring problem: the screen stop working there are lines everywhere and the mouse becomes what looks like a saw. You must restart it or put it to sleep. It keeps recurring more frequently and after about 3 - 5 times, the computer will not restart in any. Ive done system restore, and then when I'm running again, he looked for a solution to the problem. I received this message:

«NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped to work properly.» an update of the driver, as appropriate, could prevent this problem does not happen. "and then there's a list of about 5 options on how to update. I did the first two (check the windows automatically updated and manually update the driver). Update Windows provided nothing driver associated. When I went to update manually, it says the best driver is already installed. When I had clicked on my driver it says that everything was working properly.

This has happened several times, ive just saved and deleted most all of my computer.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

If I understand your ad very short: you got a message that the display driver has stopped or has crashed and recovered again.

Maybe a new display driver installation would help sort this problem. ?
I recommend you to uninstall the previous driver.

  • Display driver has stopped working and has recovered

This is my first post, so please bear with me. Also although I use pc a lot, I'm not technical interest. I have a laptop Compaq presario CQ61 64-bit Windows 7.  2 days ago the screen went suddenly "speckly" flickered then briefly became black. On forward "normal service resumed" but a message "display driver stopped working and got ' came then disappeared. I was watching BBCiplayer in time if this is useful. Since then, the problem has re occurred several times and I had to reboot a couple of times. I don't do any game at all, just browse some sites regularly then use Skype for an hour a day.  I thought everything was good today as the portable performed normally for a long time, then did it again! Can anyone help (in terms of simple fool) Please? Thank you very much

    An update conflict is possble.

It is likely, too, that just reinstall the driver - if necessary update or just reinstall the current version - can solve this problem, if the software is at the origin of the problem.  Sometimes the drivers are dynamited by the updates and can be cured by be reinstalled after the fact.

Good luck!  Post back with your results, if you like, and let us know how you fare.
