Illustrator CC 2015 all the menu is grey - can not use

For these last two days I tried to use Illustrator on my iMac but Illustrator seems damaged.

The problem is not associated with a specific file.

After its launch Illustrator, all menus are gray and I can't perform no action. No matter where I click, I just get alert sound system.

I can't open any file or adjust the size of the window of the Illustrator, do not click on the app and cannot leave yet without force quit.

What I did:

1 restarted Illustrator many times - same question

2 restarted my computer - same question

3 restarted Illustrator holding SHIFT Option command - same problem

I tried to find the Illustrator preferences file. but can't find it.

If there is no brighter suggestion, try the list:

Sometimes, (some) things may fail or stop working for no apparent reason. When (other) possible reasons/remedies do not work, it is perhaps a kind corruption (temporary or permanent), or even preference settings which disturbs, which can be cured with something on the following list put in place in order to provide a catch-all solution for otherwise intractable cases. It starts with a few easy suggestions and safe) 1 and 2) for cases less serious and goes two ways 3) and 4) to reset the default preferences (easily but irreversibly and more laboriously but more completely and also reversible), then follows a list 5) various other possibilities, and it ends with a complete reinstallation 6). If no other suggestion doesn't work, or if no other suggestion appears, you can start on the list and decide how to go or who can apply.

The following is a general list of things, try when

(A) the question is not in a specific file,

(B) you have a printer installed, connected and turned on if it's a physical printer (you can use Adobe PDF/Acrobat Distiller as a printer by default without the need to have a printer on, of course you will need to specify when you really need print on paper), and

(C) It is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media (see below).

You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically may be corrupted/inconvenient preferences); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

(1) close Illy and open again.

(2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

(3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

More serious still (it can be serious because you may need to restore the plugins and whatnot if you've customized things), you can:

6 (A) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences, if any), B) run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) and C) reinstall. You can try without step B), but sometimes it is necessary, because otherwise things can persist.

    the '0' must have a unit.
    So what I ended up with was the following:
    / * ROUNDED CORNERS BOX * /.
    . BL {background: url (.. /images/Lower-Left.gif) 100% 0px no-repeat #fff;} Width: 17th;
    Then I just changed it for the whole of the 0s.

(Don't forget I saved for about 6 weeks, we are on a budget, then gift cards have been a miracle!) Guess what? The only place that I can use the maps from Microsoft wants $199.99. To add insult to injury - I can't use gift cards for purchases in line-HELP! We waited 2 months just to be left out... I am very disappointed by Microsoft.
    I thought that we recorded our product with Microsoft when it was originally installed, but cannot find anyone. All solutions?

    If you have purchased windows is installed a keyfinder allows you to recover your product key.

    I think that the price of $119 is to upgrade xp/vista to windows 7.
    the $199 price is for the full version.

  • WLAN is missing the MAC address and can not use WiFi

    After an important virus corrupt my system, I got everything running except internet Wifi access.

    The configfree detects the unit, Wireless 2200BG, which is enabled and the latest driver downloaded from Intel, but he said nothing to the MAC address.

    Have you checked the TCP/IP protocol settings?
    Do this!

    The settings are located in:
    Network connections-> network connection WLan-> properties-> Protocol TCP/IP-> properties

    There you have to make sure that settings such as; obtain an IP address automatically, get the DNS should automatically be marked!

    PS: The router must has disabled the mac address filtering!

  • Connected to the local network, but can not use internet

    I recently had problems with access to the internet after reinstalling windows 7. Before the reinstall worked very well.

    I can connect to the local network without problem, and it shows that the internet is connected. Yet I can not access the internet. When I disconnect and reconnect, I get a few seconds of internet work before it stops working.

    Lightroom CC 2015 does not work, I added newspapers and descriptions of my problems and no help whatsoever.  The Adobe help is useless.  I have to find alternatives to Adobe CC.

    Catalog file seems to be the solution. I found others with the same question. And now I have to apologize once again, during my jerky rank this morning, I forgot to mention that I was on the El Captain beta 2. My problem seems to be common.

  • Messages arrive, but the "Inbox" or any other folder open even if the content still there (and almost all the menu items do not work)!

    Using last Thunderbird on Windows 7. Had problems with the operating system and had to use a system restore. When I opened TB, it displays the folders in the left pane, but the credits of "Thunderbird Mail-...» "and the 3 topics: E-mail; Accounts; and advanced features. None of the files would open. I used the "Search messages" function and has been able to show existing and new messages in the 'Inbox '. Also wanted to know if files are always in my 'profile'... and they were all there where they should be. (And almost all the menu items are disabled).
    I wonder if I need to reinstall Thunderbird... maybe the OS issues this morning - and restore - have corrupted or damaged key elements of the program?

    System Restore is not always a very good thing for applications.

    Reinstall is unlikely to help. But if your accounts are all imap and that you do not have a lot of other data (address book, for example) in Thunderbird, you could start from scratch.

    But before that, you should try Thunderbird started in SafeMode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

    After 20.0.1 a few hours ago, click Update right displays all THE menu options, do not work a lot (all?), as 'view page source', 'open in a new tab' etc etc.

    To clarify, this happens if you have the active Firebug 1.10.6 addon.
    You can fix it by updating to the version of Firebug 1.11.2

    Here's how:
    Go to your add-ons Manager, right-click on the Firebug add-on and select 'Find updates'.
