  Hi, I have a desktop PC, 10 Windows, using the most recent version of illustrator CC.

  I am on my third big project this week and starts to slow down, very simple image, I work with. It gives me two bars of 'progress' when I do everything just a brush stroke. I have 64 GB of ram, processor double ssd. I thought it could be my computer then I have completely reformatted it from the disc. No change when you open the project file. Project is due this week, seems that this file is no longer usable.

  try to connect as a different user.

  try to uninstall any 3rd party or plugins applications.

  Unplug all equipment you don't need.

  disable fonts etc., (unless you have a completely clean install - I doubt this will help).

  try changing the location of scratch disk to another drive?

  try installing an older version in the menu list of cloud Creative menu "Previous Versions".

  Make sure data recovery / automatic backup are not too frequent, if the file has a pdf compatibility when you save manually.

• Illustrator is extremely slow on mac.

  my mac is fully updated (yosemite) and creative cloud is fully updated. what im I was not playing with any of the settings, there is no reason because it works slowly, even with a file of 3 MB and a film around the vector objects. I tried to uncheck and verifying that the gpu in the preferences and that has not worked. I seriously hope that adobe fixes this issue soon

  Slow application works with specific files? Where are saved the files, I mean locally on the computer or external? If external, try with local files. Alternatively, you can try to reset the preferences of pressing AND holding Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Illustrator.

  Hello Adobe Creative cloud users, I have an urgent problem, I hope that you can help me with:

  I have a subscription year of CC running since the beginning of December 2015. Somehow I've always used versions "trial" of programs. Since yesterday, when I want to use Illustrator, the application manager appears and says my trial is over. To use Illustrator, I have the choice between registration and purchase. When clicking on 'register' it won´t accept my e-mail and password, saying: there is no account connected to my address. When you click on 'buy' I get sent to the Adobe homepage where I can connect with the same addy and password and can access my account etc. So won´t I would buy, stating that I have a membership already where it is included. It s obviously a bug, but I have no idea what to do with her and urgently need to work on with a pressing client project.

  Anyone experienced the same problem in the past and has a solution for me? Chat / phone-supported is no option because it is only available from Monday. On the frequently asked questions I coudn´t find the problem either. I already tried to uninstall all CC but got the error "other programs installed still need the CC" so who does not work either. I uninstalled all products CC already one, CS6 is still there, so maybe that's the problem? But I'm not delet ethat minimum that still works.

• Illustrator CC running slow.

  Hello, I have recently introduced a new iMac 5 k with 4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB memory, graphics AMD Radeon M290X 256 Gb SSD and Adobe CC R9.

  I get some lag issues. By this, I mean that if I have a panned on the boards of the art it is quite slow, whereas it should be smooth. If I create a new blank document A4 and move around him, I feel the same stuttery questions as I do on the larger document, for example I have a document of 75 MB (I know not a lot) but acts only as lag as an empty document. It is not major as, just not as smooth as you would expect. Especially on a blank document.

  I played in PS CC and it seems to be fine, manage a document 2 GB easily, including the application of filters, various travel items etc. What makes me think there is a problem with my illustrator or it is badly optimized?

  I've read some older posts on CC is lag but could not find a more recent on new iMacs k 5.

  Any help/suggestions would be great.

  Just to clarify, in the case where this help anyone. I transferred more SC around 6 to help Apple migration assistant, and the only program in the suite that could not be accessed except through the trial version of cloud was the Illustrator. After that more than an hour on the Adobe support chat, turns out that I needed to follow the guests to buy cloud version, then type the serial number of my CS software at some point in the process. There you go.

  I think that you can only install an educational version on a single computer. But an educational version is for a student/teacher and cannot be sold or given to others, so that they are gone.

  But you should ask someone from Adobe.
