• Having plenty of plans of work badly slow down Illustrator?

  So I was frustrated at how slow Illustrator worked on my MBP 8 GB 2015, while I received also lack of RAM related sometimes error messages.  After various tests, diagnostic and hardware of the laptop seems good so I struggled for a reason as to why my Illustrator worked so slow.

  I started, I was wondering if it was a change in my workflow that holds me. I'm wireframing mobile screens (rarely use the color and use of effects minimal/styles) and start with work plans of 30-40 which I conceive on (file size rarely exceeds 4. 5 MB).  My previous workflow was to design first, and then create designs work plans just before exporting it in PNG or PDF.

  So I wonder - is the use of so many plans of work since the beginning of the project/file slowing Illustrator?  This difference in workflow is the only reason why I can think of as to why I am having problems of speed with Illustrator now and not before.

  Working with 30-40 work plans both certainly can affect the performance of Illustrator. Your previous workflow was better in this scenario. You can also try to reset the preferences of Illustrator and then check the app and the workflow, it should be better.

• LR is almost not usable in Windows 10

  Since the upgrade to Windows 10 (home edition Premium 64 bit i7 cpu, @ mem 920 2.67 GHz 15 g) LR (CC2015.2) became so slow, it is practically not usable.  I closed all virus protection software, and I can't go 10 minutes without the locking system to the top with the message "not responding".  I had Adobe Connect agents on my computer, and whenever they do something, such as reinstalling, copy catalogues etc, it's even worse.  Yesterday I updated again, and now, new import routine does not work as it did, can't zoom in on the files that are on the import of pre to screen and cannot re - import a file.  Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.  Adobe staff have yet to solve this problem, the cat team.

  Many of them are the same files taking up process on the old profile that I deleted.

  Any help or suggestion as to why I have multiple copies of large processes running on the machine?  As I wrote it, I sign in, seems to be fine for one but 2 minutes a lot of process appear repeatedly and slows down the computer to a crawl.

  These two files listed are not at all on my admin profile and the machine works fine in my admin profile.  Even with open Photoshop, the CPU is only about 50% under my profile.

  Try to check/change the entries in startup with Autoruns from Sysinternals, which should work on the limited account to see its startup items.
