iMac 21.5 "El Capitan 10.11.5 Intel Graphics Pro Iris 6200 1536 MB,

Hello everyone,

I have problems with the above configuration.

When I use the Mercury playback engine for example with the color correction tool, I have problems with quality change. File read and video as well.

When I go to ' only software modus "everything works fine.

I know, in fact the graphics card Intel Pro Iris 6200 1536 MB is official are not. Does anyone know a work around?

@ Adobe

Adobe is aware of this problem?

is there a solution to be expected?

Best regards

Dominik

Just to be clear, 'reading Mercury to use engine' = OpenCL in your case, right?

It is true that the 5100 & 5200 are still officially considered supported Intel Iris cards for mac and win from the current version of (CC 2015.2) of PrPro. But CC 2015.3 will be out soon and will have additional support. I have the chance to have an iMac with the 6200 I tested intensively and have had no display problem when using Lumertri or other effects in PrPro 2015.3. In addition, if you are on a mac OS 10.11.5 or higher with an Intel GPU only, then you metal available from the CC 2015.3 that will provide a broader support GPU and improving performance.

If you want more details, made Intel more certification specific to the map that we did (since we cannot test every GPU on each operating system for each version to equivalent level). So if you go on the forums, you may be able to find additional details about their level of support for the next version of PrPro.

  • iMac (end 2013) El Capitan constantly crashing - unusable

For the last few weeks, my iMac 2013 end 27' with the top of the graphics card online and ram full-bridge has been starting ok, but after some time, the beach ball appears, I can't go to Finder to force quit applications, other applications are block (quickly) and the screen goes black. This can happen when I have no real application running in the foreground, I am not connected to the internet, and when I cut all startup applications. The only way to solve the problem is a hard - reboot, but within hours, the problem reoccurs.

I tried many suggestions on this forum and elsewhere, including alt-R-cmd-P and sure reboots and a reinstall full Mac OS x (alt - R). I have repaired all the permissions of the drive via disk utility. All software are up to date and there are a lot of disk space. I removed MacKeeper, some time ago, even if a process is always stopped by one of the tools used to remove it. I have run activity monitor, but do not see anything that dominates, other than the kernel_task, but it gets much above 1 GB and RAM does not seem out to max.

It kills me that I use remotely via TeamViewer mac and so I can just restart every hour or so when it crashes. Desperately looking for a solution.

An end iMac from 2013 will not work Snow Leopard with reliability. It should not have been able to even install it. Its original operating system would have been Mavericks or Yosemite. Install a correct operating system and evaluate the results.

  • The CD/DVD does not work with El Capitan 10.11.5 on Macbook Pro

Hello everyone, I spent the time to research on the here and the other site on why the CD/DVD does not work with El Capitan 10.11.5 on MacBook Pro mid 2009. This discussion forum has said that he will not work with the El Capitan software. Any idea or suggestion? Back to Marverick or Yosemite? I tried to use SMC reset, restart, recovery and still the same issue.

    I thank in advance.

    ~ Mike

I have my doubts that the (10.11.5) software is the problem.  Are you sure that the DVD player is simply not defective?  Have you tried to clean the lens?  What is the State of the disc?

Your best option may be a date at a bar in engineering of the Apple store for a FREE evaluation.

How to move from OS X Lion 10.7.5 to El Capitan on my end 2011 MacBook Pro? I get an error 'install the distribution of the error signed by apple. I'm sure I need first to switch to something else, but I have no idea where to start.

    1. check all your applications to ensure compatibility with ElCapitan.

When those you want to keep (as possible) have a compatible update: you can update after installation.

2 ElCapitan performs better with more than 4 GB of Ram, although in very low load systems, it runs on 2 GB.

    3. your hard drive doesn't have to be "nearly complete."

    4. go in the Appstore and download ElCapitan (the download comes in your Applications folder)

The installer is removed after installation, so if you like to keep a copy before starting the installation.

    5. install all applications updated.

Hard drive appears to be faulty.

It seems that you have current backups, so you should be able to recover if the drive completely fails.

Run disk utility to repair the disk and also check the SMART State.

When a player starts to falter, it is almost certain, it will fail. There is really no cover failures of IO because it indicates that the player no longer has the ability to remap bad blocks.

If you have AppleCare, you can probably still get it replaced. However, they are fairly cheap these days and quite easy to replace yourself.

  • IMac, re - install El Capitan-wants to load on external drive

Late 2009 Imac. 16 RAM, HD 1 T.  El Capitan.

Use slow this AM-reboot.  This opens to the Apple screen and the cursor moves right - about 3/4 and slows down.  It stops at 90%.  After 30 minutes, it move at the end and then the Imac white switch.  ??

Did the same thing in safe mode.

Try the Options mode now.  Thought I'd reinstall El Captan.  I have attached external USB which is bootable.  Options want to install El Captan to emphasise the main HD.

Went BACK - and currently running disk utility... but he is stuck on the LOADING of DISK with the spinning wheel.  Been there a while.

I made a Clone carbon copy about 4 days ago and have also two BU of Time Machine.

I would like to charge El-Capitan-CLEAN.

    Suggestions?

Your message is not clear. You try to install the internal hard disk, or you try to install on an external hard drive?

I have a 2010 21 "iMac running EL capitan who today suddenly makes a gurgling noise and he wouldn't do anything so I turned it off and tried to put it back on and it continues to make a buzzing sound, as soon as I press the bottom of the power to the rear it hums 3 times then stops and emits a 3 stops... on a black screen. All tips thank you

Three beeps usually indicate a problem with the RAM.

See > Startup on computer - Mac Support Apple tones

Sometimes, modules dispose and sometimes the modules go bad. Personally, I would check and/or replace the RAM modules.

If you cannot or do not know how to install or check the RAM for yourself...? Next, you need to contact your Apple Store or FSAA and book a service appointment. See > https://locate.apple.com/country

I would remove Sophos and possibly clean MYMAC (do you really need it?).

And I would test El Capitan, put it on a FW800 external drive.

  • iMac w/os el capitan: pages will not save docs - help!

Recently installed El Capitan (sorry) in imac, now Pages won't save the documents-help!

    Error message?

  • HDD iMAC - made NAS El Capitan trace bad sectors after the report of an error?

I replaced the HARD drive failing in my iMac 2009 end with a 4 to Seagate NAS drive, thinking it would be a better more sustainable choice, ignoring other differences of a NAS disk.  The computer runs very cool indeed.  However,.

Apparently the resumption on error and the mapping of the sector is different on a NAS drive.  Seagate advertisement indicates that during a difficult to read, the Seagate NASware reports the error to the operating system within a maximum of 7 seconds instead of spending up to 20 seconds to try to read (and remap?) the bad data so that the NAS operating system has a chance to recover data from RAID system and write a new correct sector and thus correct the file without error and little time.

Modern readers but defective sectors realloueront told me that the NAS drives will not (could not check this based on data I found on the web site of Seagate).

    Three questions

1: the OS has the ability to work with bad sectors and map just like the old OSs?

2: El Capitan reports the error to the user, or turn the ball.  I never saw the report of the OS that the data file cannot be read properly, as windows used to in my old bad days before moving to Apple.

3: this rumor NAS disk does not remap is correct?  I think it makes more sense to report the erorr to the operating system, and then remap the sector on a writing data (as the NAS operating system should do once he finds the correct data).

I would not lose time popular with these basic question, but I could not find the relevant info.

I don't want to swap the drive that replacing a drive in a 27 "iMAC is not easy and will not be repeated until the disc breaks down.

A NAS is just a file server. He is responsible for the management of storage of data including the maintenance of readers. The operating system access is just request the data of and presenting data on the NAS. The inner workings of the actual storage is the responsibility of the NAS.

  • Buy iMac Air w/El Capitan. CS6 AE CC does not. All other cloud programs are very good. HELP PLEASE

Help!  We bought a new iMac look, super car and Creative Cloud Master Collection 6.  First, PhotoShop, Illustrator, all work fine.  After Effects are NOT.  I googled the question and watched some videos of youTube on downloading the update, download Adobe Manager, etc..  I did all that, but still... I get this error "you cannot use this version of the"Adobe After Effects CS6"application with this version of Mac OS X. You have "Adobe After Effects CS6" 11.0.

Help!  I need After Effects with my first.  If anyone can help?

You must update AE version 11.0.4 to work on El Capitan.

Videos YouTube suck usually with After Effects stuff... This page is much more useful: After Effects and animation character ready for Mac OS X (El Capitan) v10.11
