• Lost hundreds of photos

  Updated my computers (MacBook Pro and iMac) to Yosemite (10.11.4) earlier.

  The iMac iPhotos library resided in an external right here.  Still doesn't work.

  Yesterday, I decided to move all my photos of the MacBook Pro on the iMac, so I would have them all in one place.

  I chose to put the 2,000 + more photos that were on the MacBook Pro on a Toshiba 32 GB flash drive.   That's happened.

  My plan was to import these pictures 2000 + from the flash drive in the iMac Photos.

  It is then the part that may have caused a problem, but I'm confused as to what exactly happened.  Photos 2000 + now are photos ONLY in Photos iMac program and the iMac is "saying" that the Toshiba flash drive where my photo library.

  I know he has more photos in the photo library of the iMac and the thought that the 2000 + would be simply added to them.   That is not the case.  Other photos disappeared.

  Meanwhile, on the external drive where my original iPhotos Library lives, I'm afraid to open it for fear it will migrate to the iMac Photos Toshiba mess.   I think I read somewhere that.  In any case I don't want to dig this deep hole.

  Any help would be appreciated.  I know it's confusing.  Have tried to make it as clear as possible.

  I am an old user of mac and I must admit that I'm starting to be a little overwhelmed by new features in cloud computing.

  I need your help to configure my devices to work the way I want to.

  I have 2 macs (an iMac and a MBP), 2 iPhone and an iPad and a normal camera. I also pay for the 50 GB Apple cloud storage service. I have a time capsule.

  What I want to achieve is:

  1. all of the photos that I take (regardless of the unit i) should be visible in the camera on my primary iMac and synchronize automatically.

  2 when I import pictures from my regular camera to my primary IMac, these photos may not appear in other devices (unless someone tells me that to do this, non-local storage).

  3. when I delete a photo from any of my devices, the captain must auto delete main iMac.

  4. last question: the time capsule backup is reliable? for example can I assume that the main iMac backup will have all the pictures inside?

  5. If I do a backup usb and I copy on an external hard drive, the principal, is iMac iPhoto library - this enough?

  How should I configure my devices - account iCloud etc. to achieve?

• Events suddenly all messed up

  We got back from vacation and I transferred my pictures from my Nikon camera on my iMac iPhotos as I always did.  I've sorted, deleted, subtitled the photos and then I transferred my photos from my iPhone to my iMac iPhotos and suddenly, all my photos have messed up. For example, I go to events and click on my photos to the Mexico last year.  Pictures of 150 should appear and then if I want to enlarge one of them I just clicked to make it bigger and then click New to do little.  Now, when I click on this file in single photo events rises and it is great.  I can't make it smaller and I see is no longer all 150 pictures in this file.  It is as if it is frozen.  When I click on the arrow to go to the next photo is jumps to another file of events.  I have no idea how to fix this or what happened to cause this. Any ideas?  FYI... I have OS x 10.6.8 if that makes a difference.  I can't upgrade to El Capitan, as it says that I don't have enough memory.  Thank you!!

  It is not a problem of fonts. It is the problem of the sample text entered by the models.

  The error message means that there is a text field in your book which is still on show at the text included by the model, and you will need to replace this text with your text. This textfield might be hidden behind a picture.

  If you create a preview of the book, such default text is omitted. Have you compared the preview of what you see in iPhoto? Text that shows in iPhoto, but not in the preview will be such default text.
