  You push your CPU to its limits with 3 GB of Ram running image editing products. As you can see the document that you opened is 860 + Mb and your Ram is about 3000 MB.

  Photoshop system requirements , it is recommended to have 8 GB of Ram for optimal performance. But that seems not to be the origin of the problem here, just a recommendation.

  Have you changed the CMYK color space voluntarily? Try to change it to RGB and see if that helps.

  Hi all

  I went to install Russell Brown Image Processor Pro 2.3.1 on my Adobe Bridge / Photoshop CC. I have a Mac computer and that you have installed manually (by following the steps described in the provided Pdf) the Image Processor Pro by dropping plug-ins in their designated files.

  Now, once I did, the Image Processor Pro is displayed in the menu drop-down from the bridge, and when I press on it (once), the only thing it does is to start the Photoshop application without further intervention. There is not a pop-up of any kind.

  I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015.5.0.

  My question is, does anyone know a workaround for this problem?

  Update: for what it's worth, I managed to find a Dr. Browns Services facility, and who install it on the site of Adobe here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons

  It has an option to install it, which is what I did, and that's available on the CC bridge, however with the warning.

  Whenever I get close the bridge and then run it again, a pop up appears to indicate this:

  I click Yes, and then go the preferences at the bridge, as part of Startup Scripts, activate the Services of RD Browns. I close the bridge, start it again, then get this popup:

  

  I choose ok, Bridge opens, I go to tools and in its menu, there is Image Processor Pro Dr Browns Services and fully operational.

  As long as I never close the bridge, Image Processor Pro is still there, but whenever I close the bridge, I need to follow the same steps above here.

  Hope this can help someone out there.

  I have OS X El Capitan and a Canon EOS 5 d r

  When I open an image. CR2 in Photoshop CC 2015 / Camera Raw 9.3, Photoshop crashes quite often.

  After checking with several of my. Cr2-files I found that it blocks only when I open RAW CR2 - files that have been modified/expanded before in Lightroom CC.

  All either changed/develoded Images CR2 (which initially means Virgin imported camera) properly opens with Camera RAW 9.3.

  Meanwhile, I installed El Capitan 10.12.2. Beta (15C48a) because I thought that the problem is El Capitan with no success.

  I think that Camera RAW 9.3 has a problem with opening files .xmp.

  I can reproduce the error with all files that have been changed in my Lightroom library.

  GPU. OpenCL settings or disable does ' t matter. Activation of work well with RAW files that have not changed.

  After the installation of the OS X 10.11.2 version of Photoshop Apple will open all the files via Camera Raw CR2 with no crashes.

  I've used photoshop for years.  I recently moved from Photoshop CC 2015 (probably months) on Windows 7 for a new installation of Photoshop CC (last version so just what is the download of this week) on Windows 10.

  (Just a side note, I had saved all my settings via the sync on the old PC.  On the new CC PS, synchronization option is gone, lucky I took screenshots of my settings). So now I have to find my file to workspace on my old hard drive...

  My real question.  I run my PC 100% DPI adjustment.  PS now open each image in a small square window in the upper left corner of the display area of PS.  Specifically, my picture is there with a gray square in addition to this image.  I can make things happen and see my image in this small square. I can't select anything in the window.

  It seems to be in a constant w: h: setting I understand of course is to width height but does not turn off.

  Zoom just zooms the picture in the box.  I tried to change the canvas to something bigger, but who comes to the bigger picture in this little square window.

  Thus, after several searches, I unchecked "use graphics processor", which worked well with windows 7 and the older version of PS.  Then PS crashes... I forced to close, then reopened and PS opens pictures very well, and the graphics processor is always checked. I run a GTX560 with the last driver installed.  I wonder if there has been some changes in treatment or if I need to change my settings "advanced graphics processor.  Just strange would not, and now after unchecking it and magically he re - check, things seem to be working. Until they do not!

  • Open PS - preferences - performance - audit use graphics processor

  How to reproduce:

  Create a 32-bit document

  Fill the document with white which has intensity + 20

  Save it as .exr

  Close everything in Photoshop

  Open the .exr image.

  + 20 is now + 16.

  Some programs even read the new value of + 16 0. It's like Photoshop is corrupt all that is + 16.

  Please fix this.

  I guess what you mean by + 16 16 stops, either 2¹⁶. I see that you have some very large floating point values in this file. What happens here is that Photoshop works in 32-bit mode floating-point, but OpenEXR is usually 16-bit floating point. Usually, that's fine, but this does not mean that the maximum value recorded in a typical EXR is 'only' 65504.0. Your file goes much higher and crashes is when registering.

  In Photoshop, you should be able to record higher values in an EXR using "PXR24 on 32-bit", although it doesn't seem to work for me, at least on CS6.

  Your other option is to download the free EZ ProEXR, which gives you the ability to read and write an EXR. really 32-bit

  Hello world! So, I recently learned Photoshop and I have a Tumblr blog, and I am try it for fixtures and gifs. I can do my gif and finally, to sharpen and play with the color of the image, I have to select all images and convert it to a smart object to make it faster and easier on me. With the 2014 version, it worked amazingly, I managed to make GIFs. But after the update, this does not work so well now. Everything starts fine, everything is fine, until I have to convert my frames to a smart object. I select them all, right click, press on convert to smart object... and it instantly freezes and says that it hangs and stops. Now, I've seen people have problems when starting up, but I have not seen a question quite like this. I didn't think that solutions for commissioning crashing would help me because it starts and goes well until there. I tried three times last night with the same problem.   I use Photoshop CC 2015.5. My text will disappear and reappear, too, when I'm on a layer and you try to move the image, it jumps to the top layer. The only way I can move the selected layer is if I use the arrow keys.

  Looks like the problem fixed itself. I left on Photoshop and then re - open the photos everything was just peachy. In this case, even once, that I will remember to take a screenshot of it. I honestly don't know what could have caused this is the first place to be completely honest.
