Image resize - Set produce size but high resolution

Hello

My original image is 14842 x 8417px and I have been asked for an image that is 608 x 350px but high resolution. How can I go to the resizing of the image is smaller but still a high resolution image? I tried everything and it is simply by changing the size and resolution. I use CS6

Hello, the request seems strange: the resolution is (point per inch) dpi, while they don't ask you the file in cm or any other size print, but in pixels.

What I propose to do this is:

1 familiarize yourself with the size of the frame, put on the 'resampling' option and adjust the height to 350. Choose the resampling algorithm which suite best your image. Press OK

2. familiarize yourself with the Image/canvas size, in the size canvas window choose pixels and width to 608. Press OK.

2. familiarize yourself with the size of the Image/Image, uncheck the 'resample' and select a resolution of 300 dpi.

This way you will get an image with the right size in pixels and the indication to print at 300 dpi.

  • Video image of first elements in JPEG high resolution?

    Hello

    Anyone know if the Premiere Elements can be used (and let me know how) to capture and imported video or frame DVD, and

    then convert the image to JPEG high resolution that can be used to print as a photo 8 x 10?

    Thank you

    Greg

    Standard video resolution is roughly the equivalent of an image of 640 x 480 pixels. At 200 dpi - the minimum resolution to produce a good, clear photo - that would produce a photo maybe 3 1/2 "x 2 3/4".

    Hi-def video is 1920 x 1080. You could get a 9 1/2 "" x 5 1/2 "photo."

    You can't really add pixels of an image, if you can he cheat a bit in a program like Photoshop Elements. If you push, you can enlarge a video caught about 10%, before she starts the fuzzy search and pixelated.

    Also note that video pixels are generally consist of non square while the photos are made up of square pixels. The video images are often intertwined and must be désentrelacée to look good from the photos. It is therefore not an easy transition from one to the other.

  • Background image extends all the way to higher resolutions

    I created a web page and my client wanted a slideshow to meet throughout the site with the top scrolling content. I thought I did it correctly because it was beautiful on each monitor until I saw on higher resolution than 1080 p. When I have plenty of screen it the bottom of the picture ends and there is space. I have attached a picture.

    The website is killerspirit.net

    I was not on this subject the right way? The bottom must be static, while the content of the page scrolls on it so I made a slideshow that I extended edge of the page. I didn't know how else to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Screen Shot 2015-09-02 at 1.44.35 PM.png

    I found this site for example:

    Paddymazz Productions

    It would be just like that except a design of a page with the content of the scroll on the background image.

    Hi Patrick,

    Muse does not sensitive site because of which when you view the site on different dimensions, the site will make differently.

    Can you confirm the height of the slide show you have inserted in the background and can you try to increase the height and check if it solves the problem?

    Kind regards

  • Low resolution image has been downloaded instead of high resolution have?

    I downloaded 2 x vector files have. The files that were sent were, but with jpg images low resolution inside with the Adobe logo still on the picture...?

    Yes it's on both downloads HERE. Yes I have a debt which I used for downloads.

    Hi Pieter,

    The .ai 2 files (99028850 and 99659790), OR vector images you downloaded, when opened in Adobe Illustrator, open fine without Adobe logo OR watermark.

    Yes! Adobe logo watermark gold appears when we open the preview of the image and not the licensed version.

    What we have done is:

    • Looking for the image.
    • Clicked on licensed and save on computer
    • Open the .ai file downloaded and it opens without Adobe logo OR watermark.

    Can you please confirm if you open the preview image OR the licensed version of the image in Adobe Illustrator?

    Can you please share the screenshot of the same which shows Adobe logo or watermark on the images 'license '?

    In order to test on your side, gently:

    • Sign in to Stock.adobe.com
    • Click on your name at the top right, and it will display a menu drop-down.
    • Click on the license history - it will show the list of the images you uploaded.
    • Click on the image number you want to re-download - which is allowed. Do not click new license.
    • This opens the image and click on save to computer. -It would go to the default download folder.
    • Now try to open this licensed version of the image in Adobe Illustrator.

    Hope the same help.

  • Buttons with images, by setting the size?

    Hello

    I use the following code to add images to the buttons. However, I got some of the buttons out of the view from the window! What can I add to make them fit on the display window?

    MORE: I want them to be on the Center vertically and horizontally. Let's say I have 15 buttons, I want 3 each line. And in the center of the screen?

    And finally, is it possible to make the button selected by default as NULL? Then, key 1 is not selected at the beginning as shown in the picture as an attachment!

    SOLVED

    I solved by:

    1 - scaling images with display:

            public int getPreferredWidth() {
                    return Display.getWidth()/6;
            }

            public int getPreferredHeight() {
                    return Display.getHeight()/6;
            }

    2 - using HorizontalFieldManager:

    HorizontalFieldManager(FIELD_HCENTER);

  • For Sony A100 higher resolution settings

    I have a Sony A100 DSLR and currenlty I put 10 m, Fine in the camera settings. I was told that this should get photos as large as a 16 "x 20" print at 300 dpi. However, the images coming out of the camera are only 3872 x 2592 pixels. This gives me an image of 12,907 "x 8,64" size at 300 dpi. Is it size max I can get out of these photos with these settings. How can I configure my camera to get higher than 3872 x 2592 pixels pictures? If possible, I need step by step instructions.

    Thank you in advance.

    10 M (3872 x 2592 pixels) setting is the maximum size of the camera image setting. It is not possible to change a setting higher than that. It is still possible to print these images to a larger size, but it is expected that there will be loss of quality.

    You can set the parameters [quality] [fine] to ensure you'll get images which have the least compression and more quality.

    Hello

    These problems usually occur due to the low native resolution. To change the native resolution of the image, you can use pictures digital high resolution.

    Make sure that before you add this photo to your project, you go to the preferences (under the Edit on a PC) and uncheck the default scale to the size of the image.

    Scaling of artificially reduced image size your photo - no matter how large - the size of your video image, make detailed pans and zooms like your impossible. When it is not checked, your photo will be in full resolution and you will only see a small part of it in the preview window.

    That said, don't forget that you work at video resolution, so some details will be lost. (Less so, if you change video high-def). And, of course, don't forget to make your timeline after you have added your pans and zooms to see a better representation of what your final video will look like.

  • Import of high-resolution images of ArcGIS (PC) to Illustrator C4 (Mac)-"Cannot take place due to an error" / "the file size is too big.

    I make a great conference poster that will contain images of ArcGIS. The poster will be 92 "x 42" and Imaging will cover 91 by 22 in the page. The problem is that I need very high resolution for imaging, but illustrator won't import my files. I use ArcGIS 10.3 on Windows 10 and Illustrator C4 with OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan). I was not able to import any .tiff file into illustrator (is this possible?) and I get "cannot take place due to an error" or "the file is too big" errors when I try to put .jpeg, .png, .ai files exported from the GIS. I think that the problem is due to the differentoperating systems, rental However, can I open and edit (resize etc.) files in preview without any problem, so there is also a problem with Illustrator. The files that I use are more than 150 MB at 300 dpi, but I really prefer to use 600 dpi, Illustrator can't handle these files sizes? I don't want to lose the resolution using .jpeg, .pdf, etc., many types of compression will cause problems with vector layers from ArcGIS.  Please notify!

    Update your AICS4 to something with the ability to access more than 3 GB of memory RAM as CS6 or above. You'll never work with CS4, at least not to the resolution as you seem to think you need. Indeed, you could probably use 150ppi or the bottom of the poster and not obviously nothing to lose. And for the record, I worked for 17 years for the USGS working with ARCGIS and AI.

    Hello JimTrail

    After watching this on the web, it seems that you is maybe to something. From what I found, GIMP uses a lot of resources, especially true for larger images. He isn't able to handle the scanning of an image as large as 4800dpi without additional RAM or virtual memory to compensate for the RAM.

    My suggestion would be to increase the size to the recommended or higher. Out of curiosity how much physical RAM have you? Microsoft recommends that virtual memory for no more than 3 times the amount of RAM installed. See article: change the size of virtual memory.

    You can also see the article below on the Tile Cache GIMP.org.

    The default resolution and "recommended" for my two monitors lenovo is 1920 x 1080. I have a new system and I tried for a few weeks now to something to work with screen resolution and third-party apps. I am under W7 Pro right now, but will soon be getting to 10.

    The high resolution is not a problem in 7 with any Microsoft stuff. With the help of a custom of the DPI setting takes care of all the native stuff. Some third-party applications can be set as well. For example, Corel Photo Paint X 7 has bars of detachable command with command icons that can be set to small, medium or large. When the size of the icon is changed, the size of the font adjusts accordingly and it is perfectly feasible, acknowledging the icons or by reading the text. It is perfect for this dual screen system and works like a charm.

    However, most of other software companies are not quite as respectful of their clients. Bryce, formerly owned by Corel, but now DAZ despicable, is not removable toolbars and there is no options available to adjust the sizes of icons in order. Even if preferences to provide an engaging, multiple monitor option not to release the toolbars or increase the font size. It only opens the Bryce "Labs" in the second monitor in a position at the end of the dialog box, half of the Cup.

    It also applies even in a top of the range of applications such as VIEW and Smith Micro, Poser Pro. They present menus and toolbar icons that are so tiny, it is necessary to use the Magnifier Microsoft to make and which isn't real solution when your work with graphics programs. It's incredibly awkward.

    My old system, running XP Pro, SP3, which I always put in place and operational, has a screen resolution of 1280 X 768, and it displays all the software of third party very well. If I try to use this resolution with W7 and these monitors high resolution, I get a crushed image down and half on the screen which is useless. I can read everything very well, but all images are short and fat! If it was possible to type values for the height and width, using an infinite scale rather than the fixed scale that is provided by the slider over, nicked in W7, it would be possible to find a combination that worked. Then, once the wreck was set for third party stuff, the custom DPI settings Windows could take care of the native stuff.

    I had an Oracle VirtualBox running for awhile and loaded the third of things out there and it worked for awhile but it did not offer the ability double screen and, in any case, after awhile it started to get really uptight and I finally just had to get rid of.

    Really, I would be much happier if I could just load XP Pro on this machine and do run as quickly as things that made to run on it. The only reason why I got a new system was the need for more speed and muscle. But if I can't use my favorite, applications worth it?

    Is there no workaround solution that will make it possible to adjust the resolution so that the third-party applications are fully functional using all the space on the screen?

    Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and respond.

    Since no one answered I'll provide the solution myself. Doing right thing 'upgrade' to Windows 10 has this problem of resolution.

    Other than that, getting W10 to work even at halfway was a nightmare.

  • When I resize a photo to the web LR displays a very small image, not the actual size.

    When I resize a photo to the web LR displays a very small image, not the actual size that appears when I download on a website! ???

    Yes, it should work. It should show you exactly what the image will look like on normal, non-retine displays. At least if you have the resolution of your screen (in preferences-> display system) the value 'best for display '. In this case your computer exactly double the resolution.

    The link I posted above is for when you want to go further. In fact, he shows how to send images of different sizes to people looking at your site on the retina against those who seek to your site on normal screens. This will allow a still sharper image that people can get on a display to display. What it basically does is make their web browser asks a 1600 pixel image if only they are viewing on a screen high resolution while asking a low-resolution image 800 pixels for people using normal poster. This example uses all available pixels to choose the type of display. It takes just a bit of HTML and javascript coding. My main site done automatically like smugmug has this built already, but my blog site does not automatically so I had to code around it. This makes your images look amazing on the screens with high resolution such as on the screens of the retina and iPads.

  • Site of high resolution of Muse but problems with lightbox slide shows?

    I create a small portfolio artist site Muse and set up as a site of high resolution. I think I should be the design for the future, right? It is also the FIRST site I created with Muse (after hate Dreamweaver for SO many years, but work with it).

    So, I'm learning the Muse from the ground upward. Before slideshows have also never created. Things have been going pretty well, but I seem to have problems with the creation of slideshows, lightbox. I created the jpeg files to 1800 dimension max px according to the instructions from Adobe. Thumbnails appear fine, but when you click on a poster image full size small, appearing to not more than 500 px of width max, when I expected to 900 px width (retina). (Have not yet checked to see what he does on a standard resolution screen.)

    Any suggestions or tips for the manipulation of slideshows style lightbox for screens high resolution?
