image resolution lower than that on the technical side, it should be

PS / ID CC 2014

Hello. I place a picture, don't resize it, real and effective ppi identically 468 (no tranparencies...), view the set of high quality, high quality set up in preferences. Post script screen resolution as a whole (which never seemed to be a problem before, but the "New Documents predefined resolution" this thread is speaking of a disappeared in any case). The images displayed at a resolution about half or less, and exported accordingly, as seen in Acrobat Pro.

Why? What should do?

Thank you.

Know everything first, DISPLAY QUALITY THAT is only for your Indesign work faster or look better.

Any file resolution imported in Indesign will not be changed.

The only way to control the outcome of the resolution (not included the indesign effects like shadow), is the OUTPUT PANEL.

If you have a high-resolution PDF in acrobat, you must change the output PDF Panel.

  • Change image 2500 pixels on the long side

I posted earlier but just found out how to change my dpi of an image from 300 to 72 dpi. (Could not find my post above).

Now I would like, if possible, in order to publish them, it's like a book on the Kindle cover, change the number of pixels on the longest side of the image on the recommended 2500 Pixels. (Right now the image I am interested is slightly more than that on the long side.).

    1. Go to image > resize > resize the image. It would launch a dialog box resize image.
    2. In the bottom of the dialog box, choose "resampling". in the drop down menu below, you can choose the resampling algorithm. Since you said that the image that you are interested in is a little more than 2,500, you should choose Bicubic Sharper. To learn more about the resampling algorithms, refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/resizing.html#resample_an_image
    3. Once you choose the option "resample image", it would allow the dimensions of pixel of the dialog box.
    4. change the height (or width) at 2500 depending on which side is the longest side.

  • When I click on Outlook Express, all I get is the blue 'title field' then the hourglass and it won't go any further than that.

When I click on Outlook Express, all I get is the blue 'title field' then the hourglass and it won't go any further than that.  The blue box stays there indefinitely, and all other functions on my PC just slowing down.  Any ideas please?

original title: Outlook express open used

Glad you got it work & you are the very welcome, but some tips to follow in order to avoid this in the future, if you don't mind.

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

    And backup often.

    Hey @gmi7envy,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I see you have a partial page printing problem when you use your HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer. I want to help you with this. I have some suggestions that might help.

I think it is a problem of software, but just in case, try to make a copy of the façade - if printing result is normal appearance, fine. If this is not the case, click here to access hardware troubleshooting tips from HP.

Assuming you were able to make a decent copy of the façade, we will assume that your printing problems are focused on software. Accordingly, I recommend you try the following steps:

    Uninstall your printer

    • Press the Windows key + r
    • Type of control panel and press enter
    • Click on programs and features
    • Select the driver for your printer from the list, and then click on uninstall.

Remove temporary files from your PC:

    • Press the Windows key + r
    • Type %temp%, and then press enter
    • Press Ctrl + a to select all files
    • Press Delete
    • Note that some files do not delete - do not worry, this is normal. Simply click ignore that you're prompted.
    • Empty your trash at the end.

    Download the printer Installation Wizard

Click here to install the HP printer install wizard (instead of directly using the printer driver). When you run it, this utility will facilitate what I hope it's a smoother and more efficient printer installation.

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below and clicking 'resolved' (this will help others find the solution).

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

    Have a great day!

  • Resize photos to the long side in the size of the Image

I want to use the size of the Image in the Image Menu to resize photos on the longer side (example: 3000 x xxxx).  I know that I can do this in the processor for Image and Photo to adapt, but I want to enjoy the new resample in CC2014, preserve the details.  Is it possible to do it in the size of the Image.   Second question is if this is not possible what method of resampling Image Processor and Photo Fit uses it to resample images to a larger size.

    Thanks for the help.

Check her resample, interpolation together to preserve the details have a width and height link to force the image resize it current aspect ratio, use of the width or the height of the menu drop down click pixel, set the side you want to be 3000 to 3000. Cannot be batch without a small script to set the long side to 3000

Second question is if this is not possible what method of resampling Image Processor and Photo Fit uses it to resample images to a larger size.

The standard image of the processor which is part of the Photoshop Image uses made the adjustment to resize the image always interpolation bicubic user. There is a process of image better second plugin script that you can download from the web once installed you will find in the file menu > Automate > Image Processor Pro.  With Image Processor Pro, you can define which method of interpolation should be user for each resized image used. If the script is better then the standard image processor and works under Photoshop CC X got fed up with Adobe and will support no CC in order to preserve the details cannot be resolved.  It would be possible to add an option if the version of Photoshop using the script supports the details preserved, it can be easy to add to the menu drop down and in the code. As you can choose one of the other methods

The Image Photoshop plugin is being implemented in a Photoshop script written in javascript.   It would be very easy to change your copy of "If Image.jsx" always use preserve detail in CC. The must be changed line is an app.activeDocument.resizeImage '(newWidth, newHeight, resolution, ResampleMethod.BICUBIC);  «Change it will only work if Adobe updated the scripting support cc to preserve detail.»  In Adobe CS6 forgotten update scripts to support BicubicAtomatic fix in the superscription CS6 but not the perpetual CS6.  I also note that preserve the details is not an option to interpolation in Photoshop CC preferences for the interpolation of the image.

Try without margin: 0 auto on the header.

It seems that you want to center it?

If this is the case, try with the headers and left in an envelope and Center the wrapper.

  • Assets of image import as a res lower than the source

I have seen several posts similar to this discussion and have never seen a response. Whenever I attempt to ad an image, sometimes half of the original asset. I tried format PNG, JPG, Gif etc. and it's all the same. Years ago, when I used first Muse, it didn't happen. Just to put everything everybody some time, yes I'm saving the images correctly and the size/resolution 100% I'm looking. I did this for a loooong time. For example, I 1600x600px image at 72 dpi. Save the images in the same way and the same resolutions I would entrust to any developer.  My Muse file is located at standard resolution. I deselected retina, hoping that would solve the problem.

What happens is when I drag the image a Muse W 1600px site, the image comes in about 1/2 - 1 / 3 of the original size. (Note: I also can't not proportional to scale while holding SHIFT as is the norm in Adobe products). I used really love using Muse for prototypes show customers, but for this reason probably, and my inability to get an answer, I gave up. Once and a while, like now, I'm, hoping things will work properly.

Please let me know if you know what's the deal. kind of makes me crazy. It's used to work fine a few years back.

If HiDPI is on images will be important to half size. That's how 2 x HiDPI works. A 1600px by 600px image will appear at 800px of 300px Dimensions in Design view and on screens in standard resolution. On a screen HiDPI image will always be physically the same size on screen, but 1600 x 600 pixels will appear.

How did make you the image in Muse? File > Place and click on the page will bring the image in original size, unless it would be much bigger than the size of your page (in which case Muse will resize itself it down to manageable dimensions). If the image is used as a background fill Image sizing is controlled by the fill parameters (i.e. the scale to adapt, evolve to fill, etc.).

Regarding the scaling proportional, for better or worse, the default behavior in Muse is the resizing of the images is proportional. If you want the disproportionate scale (free style), then hold down the SHIFT key. Note that this applies to the placed images and the images in the slide show. It does not apply to elements with a background image fill.

  • Image used as background is larger than the screen resolution but does not fill the screen

My laptop resolution is 1600 x 900, the image I want to put it under wall-paper is easily bigger than what is 1775 x 1235.   I understood the bars on each side, if the image was smaller than the resolution of my screen but the image is much larger.   Why then should I always get these black bars?

Click with the right button on the desktop background and select Customize,

Click the downstairs desktop background link on the left

    Use fill or adapt.

I always run a clean install to clean any spyware etc. The driver supports the X 9 live is what it takes.
