  I see that you can transform the caption of the image into a link, but I don't mean to do that. I would like the image to be the link.

  Hello! We have just released the feature linkable images for custom pages! When you upload an image on a custom page, place the cursor over the image and click on the pencil icon that appears in the upper left corner > click Add a link.

  I can create a page with local images and their replacement updates fine in design mode.

  How can I replace the images uploaded to in Design view, although both have been modified locally and on the site? Display live shows correct, but design view is not updated.

  The previous image always seems to be in sight unless I have replace it with its new local image (self-titled) and then change the link to account for his site link.

  DW has always had problems with the display of the images remotely located in Design view, the terrible workaround for it is to close and reopen the DW for the external image update is displayed correctly.

  However, it should not have any problem with changes to local images. Who should view as soon as the local file is modified.

  Photoshop elements 12 can use the 8.5 camera raw plugin, which should allow the Olympus E - M10 to open in 12 PES editor or be imported in the Organizer 12 PES.

  Have you tried help > updates the editor of PES 12 to get camera raw 8.5?

  

• Bad resolution in the images uploaded on Pinterest

  I'm at the end of my mind and I can't for the life of understand me what causes this problem. I created graphics for use on our social media platforms that have problems during the translation of Web software. As long as they are high resolution in Photoshop, once uploaded to sites like Pinterest, it seems that the resolution is something funky around the text in the chart in particular. I tried to change the dpi, change the bits per channel, recording JPG and PNG, making the higher resolution and lower, flatten the image, pixelation of text layers and nothing works. Pinterest is the worst of the platforms, but there are traces on Twitter and Facebook as well in appearance.

  Is this something to do with the settings of Photoshop? Or is this just a problem with the site? I know that I can be quibbling here.

  It's not your fault: Pinterest processes images uploaded with predefined jpg that is "good enough" quality, but jpg is formidable as the format for the illustrative vector illustrations sharp and lettering. As in your example.

  The result is fringing and blur, because jpg uses lossy algorithm to save the picture data, who loses the original edges in the process.

  Many Web sites that allow you to download images will process your images in a similar way. Some allow more control, but most are not.

  BTW, Pinterest scales down from any image with a maximum width of 736px. Any height, seems, is allowed.

  Have been playing with this problem for some time and I could really need help. Completely new to the Director, and I go out where the water is deep.
  
  I have 2 images in the same size, a castmember normally imported and created dynamically from a webcam. The webcam image has a white background, and I need this merger on top - but with white transperant background. I need the same effect as if placing the two images on stage, at the top of the ink set to tranparant. Can I merge two images with copypixels in a third member, without really knowing what I'm doing, but how to extract the white pixels of the image created dynamically before adding twogether?

• Images and thumbnails white

  Hey all.

  Photos seems to have migrated in Photos from iPhoto, but all the thumbnails and images are white.

  I tried:

  1. the four repair and rebuild options in iPhoto - iPhoto watch BTW everything correctly.

  2 COMMAND/OPTION - Photos of repair.  Did not work.

  3 tried to rename thumbnails folder in finder/photos then it would rebuild them.   Did not work.

  In the finder, my iPhotos library is 74 GB while the photo library is only 3 GB.  When I develop these folders, the folder of my MASTERS in iPhotos has all my photos inside.  The same folder in Photos has nothing in it.

  Any ideas?

  It would be good to update itself - you are 5 upgrades behind - current software is OS X 10.11.5 and Photos 1.5 and there has been many, many, many bug fixes and new features added to these 5 upgrades - there is a good chance that update, then migrat8ing by dragging the iPhoto library to picture 1.5 in the Dock icon will solve everything

  I know that the images are not the same, but if I install Firefox 15 I see image .png similarly as a .jpg file. I hate this and would be grateful to anyone who can help me to remove the white background of the .png images.

• PDF with Images - layers of white text showing on picture - how to remove?

  Hi all, I was sent a multi-page pdf. When I go online (in firefox or chrome), the pdf file seems perfect. When I print the pdf and then open the PDF on my system, it shows the pdf with white text on any word. I opened the PDF in illustrator and saw immediately that there is a layer of white text. If I delete the layer, everything looks ok.

  The layer of fonts on all pages are presented. They are not necessary, how do I remove the layer of outline fonts in acrobat? Its a huge file with many pages.

  So firstly I would like to know what has caused this? What is an accessibility issue forced? Second how to remove all text white file so that I can see actually correctly?

  Difficulty.

  Open pdf file and using preflight. Clicked on the key and sought to "create different layers for text vector image. Since there are no layers. It will ask you to save the pdf file. Save, then open the layers and uncheck vector layers. Return to the preflight and key key and double-click on the content of the layer lay hidden and flatten visible layers. It will ask you to register.

  New file will now appear not text. Acrobat documents it's terrible!

• Grid View Image framed in white, why?

  I have a freak accident in Lightroom 5.7.  That image has a thin white border around it in the library grid view mode when NOT selected.  All other images have the usual black thin border.  I looked trough my other catalogs and found this occurs, but very rarely.  I'm dying to know why, anyone?

  

  -Tif (all other hair have black borders)

  -Reworked in Photomatix Pro (all other reworks made on this software have black borders)

  -It is part of a recorded slideshow, but the other images is not a white border

  It Flagged the image, you can select the letter image and press 'U' to remove it as a pick and then the border color will be back in black.

  I just uploaded a lot of images from my camera card in Lightroom, and a high proportion have thin pink vertical lines on the images.  These lines are not on the images seen behind closed doors.  What is going on?

  It is a hardware malfunction somewhere between the camera and your view of the photo in Lightroom, causing file corruption.

  It could be a bad card device, the bad card reader or the wrong USB cable/USB port, due to lack of hard drive or defective memory.

  You should try to make this transfer of these photos using a different material and if possible, transfer it to a quite different to see if you can isolate the cause.

• HELP: Deleting background but not the elements of the image that are white.

  

  Hi, I have a feeling there will be a relatively simple solution to this, but as I'm kinda a noob to photoshop, I have been unable to escape myself.

  Basically, I'm eager to have the image attached, printed on a t-shirt. That's why I need to remove the white background and just leave the shirt in the shape of design in the middle. But because there is white on the edges of the design elements when you use the Eraser tool magic, they disappear as well. What is the best way to remove the background while maintaining the design intact?

  If you print on an iron on, you don't need to remove the white. As white do not print. It uses the white of the paper.

  If you are printing or any other process that prints white. It can be as simple as turning off of this color in the section of the print dialog box color separation.

  If all else fails, you can create a background selection and pressing DELETE.

• How to create a vector from an image with a white line

  I need help as soon as possible.

  I have a design that I made in Photoshop CC 2014 and I need to make a vector. I was told the best way to proceed was to file in Illustrator CC 2014, which is what I have, but every guide I followed takes off the white line that goes around the text and extends beyond the tree. I need this white one to be there and it's so frustrating that I can't find a guide that will help me keep it there!

  Please, if anyone has the solution, please describe in DETAIL. , I have included the image, I work for example. I put a background black on it so you can see the white line which must remain outside the vehicle. The black background will not be outside the final vector.

  According to me, you can do the following:

  Come back to Photoshop and create black background like a rectangle, then the raster work is separated into two:

  The one with the red/white text on black background and the other with the tree on black background.

  Image then trace each and expand each track and then line them up by the outermost paths (tracing the outside shape of the black rectangles that must be identical).

  Then take it from there, with full marks.

• All images is completely white?

  I have images captured on the screen using Adobe Captivate and I'm putting the clips in Adobe Premiere. Videos work very well outside of first and when they are imported their thumbnails are displayed correctly, BUT when I play within the first there's nothing but white (gray, if I put them on the timeline) as if the images do not exist!

  I googled this and tried a few fixes (update my graphic drivers, convert MP4 to MPEG images and change playback settings of 'Hardware' to 'Software'), but nothing has worked.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Thanks for the reply with troubleshooting information.

  If you are sure that Adobe Captivate records with a constant rate (as evidenced by a frame rate in MediaInfo reading), we can exclude this factor. Premiere Elements does not fare well with a video recorded with a variable rate on the duration of the clip. That the rate of 12 frames per second image in itself is worrying. But other things to focus on the first.

  Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer as well as first items 10 and run programs as an administrator (from account user with administrative privileges)? What is the card of video/graphics card that runs your computer 64-bit of Windows 10?   At present it seems that you have a file with a .mp4 file extension and a 12 frames per second 1920 x 1080 image.
