Image without blue area around GIF map

I tried to get the Dreamweaver 8 image map to work, he action is easy, but how do I remove this blue box surrounding the image that I use as my card. I decided to use an image map, as layers and tables were causing problems with the way in which they rendered differently in IE7 and Firefox 2.
I got the clickable section the > email to technical support problems< element in the image.

Feel free to offer advice that you can! It may be a problem with my XHTML or CSS even

Thank you for helping me with this dilemma!

Hi André,.

You can try adding the following to your CSS file to the body selector:
border: 0px;

This will set all borders to zero pixel and then you can add borders to
the items you need them later.

Hope that helps.

  • Strange blue frames around image rollovers in Firefox

    I get the blue frames around graphics reversal in Firefox, but not IE or Netscape usually once they were clicked. One stay, others disappear. Any ideas what is the cause? All are jpg files and seek to be lining up properly.

    I know a css patch that may help, although usually I see the same thing in IE so I don't know if this is the solution for you.

    Try to add to your css:
    IMG {}
    border: none;
    }
    a {}
    outline-style: none;
    }

    Browsers adds by default outlines / borders. If you see this when you click on the images, you can look in the visited css pseudo classes if you have them set to the site.

    Amy,

    You must place the image in the text box to wrap around him, or a heavier way test, you can use text several boxes and place them strategically around the image, but if you want to hyperlink the image you have to place it inside the text box and you can not overlap images and text in e-mail boxes.

  • Blue areas in raw image

    I have Photoshop elements 8 and Camera Raw 5.5

    When I opened a few photos in raw the camera image becomes blue.

    But it is only in these areas. The rest of the image is ok.

    I have not observed it before my last photo shoot.

    When I select Open raw image and enter the items it is not visible any longer.

    I enclose a short screen parts of the image where the problem is obvious.

    The photo is taken with Nikon D90.

    What could be the problem?

  • Blue zone around flipping?

    I am new to Dreamweaver.  I just did buttons animated in my navigation bar, but how can I get rid of the blue box around the area?

    IM assuming your bearings is the correct images?

    You can add img {border: none ;} to your css in your body tag OR add boder = "none" to your images in your html code.}

    To be honest, I do all my css by hand and never attach or add new rules through dreamweaver. Im not saying it is the most effective or even common sense, but it's what Im uncomfortable with. One of the terms above should work for you well

  • blue zone around link won't go away

    I'm using DW cs3 and try to redo a Web site. I have everything in place, but when I add a link to a gif image animated in the center of my page, it adds a blue border around the image. How can I turn this off?
    I have a column of nav on the left side of the page will rollover effects and there is no blue box around these images.

    If it's not bad enough, I also have a gif animated above my nav column, and when I add a link to it, she gets a blue box thus extends my nav table. I did not experience with older DW. Any ideas on what Im doing or that is not right?

    Do not take into account. Finally figured out he must be a 0 on the edge. I don't remember ever having put this forward. I can just be age.

  • Is it possible to output a string and digital front without the border around it?

    I know that I can change the border around a string or a digital output to the screen using modern or classic, but is possible to output and the numeric values to the front channels without the border around it? This is particularly useful for panels to front I want to print.

    Thank you

    You are to halfway it using the conventional versions. The next step is to get out of your paint tool and paint the color of the transparent border.

  • Scaling a 2D image without using the zoom factor

    I currently have a large 2D image and several smaller 2D iamges that overlap the magnified image.  The big picture is created with the draw in labview, while smal iamges are created with a png image.  Magnification on the enlarged image is 7, while 2D of png images must be scale par.21 to fit in the big picture properally.  As 2D images are stacked, while the rear image updates sometimes "flickers" through the small images.  To resolve this problem, I can combine images, but it does not work because different zoom factors.  Is there a way to reduce an image without using a zoom factor?  Is it possible that I have to scale the bitmap programmatically?

  • Windows Photo Gallery. How can I change the settings in the Windows Photo Gallery to automatically open the image without going to the index first?

    Windows Photo Gallery.  How can I change the settings in the Windows Photo Gallery to automatically open the image without going to the index first?

    Additional information: there are 2 computers that I use on the first Gallery Photo of Windows will open the image and allow me to use the left and right buttons to scroll through the rest of the photos in the folder, that's what I want.

    On the 2nd computer when I open an image it will open the Windows Photo Gallery in an index with thumbnails of the displayed record.  How can I change so that it opens the same thing as the first computer?

    I did the following on both computers; Right-click on the image and select open with...--> choose the default program--> go--> Program Files, Windows Photo Gallery, but it will be open always differently on computer 2.

    Both computers use Windows Vista 32-bit.

    Thanks in advance.

    Australian salvation,

    This would happen if the file associations are corrupted on the computer, try method to set Photo Gallery Windows as the default program for opening files jpeg or png below image types.

    (a) open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.

    (b) click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program

    (c) in the following list of file protocol search jpeg and make sure that you have associated with the program that uses it and then check if it works.

    Is there an easy way to create "the mouse on the text, to display the image" without coding it? I want an image to appear only when you move to a line of text. I found the code for it but I want to find an easier way. I'm creating a home page with a list of text links. I want to design as well as in the overview of one of the text links, a corresponding image is displayed to the right of the page. I also need a default image to rest all the time unless one of the other links text is hovered over. Thank you!

    Try to use a Widget for Composition in the Adobe Muse Widgets Panel.

    I would like to start with a blank publication.

    Place your text in the button area.

    Place your image in the display area.
