Blue areas in raw image

I have Photoshop elements 8 and Camera Raw 5.5

When I opened a few photos in raw the camera image becomes blue.

But it is only in these areas. The rest of the image is ok.

I have not observed it before my last photo shoot.

When I select Open raw image and enter the items it is not visible any longer.

I enclose a short screen parts of the image where the problem is obvious.

The photo is taken with Nikon D90.

What could be the problem?

Thanks for the tips.Blue area.jpg

Suffix ARW) the program says "Preview not available for this file" and then "files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom" I have the most updated version, I think as 5.7.  What should I do to get these files imported as raw files?

    Hi Bobsirkus,

The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

I just bought a DMC-TZ70 Lumix, but thw RAW images are not supported in the elements.  Is there a way to turn the problem?

    According to this faq:

FAQ: Photoshop Elements will work with my camera, or why does not open my raw files?

    Devices supported by Camera Raw

your camera requires the ACR 9.0 module which is only available in PSE13 after update (menu help/update).

If you have an older version of elements, the free solution is to use the DNGconverter mentioned in the faq above with the download links.
This stand-alone software converts all of a folder of your raw files to DNG format raw that older versions of items can read and modify.

  • RAW images are "locked" when they are imported into LR

I just got a new camera (Sony alpha 6000) and all my RAW images that I am trying to import into LR 4.4 are "locked" and therefore cannot be imported.

When I click on the photo in my HD file and look at the 'Get Info' of the photo is not "locked."

Cannot find any setting on my camera that shows the photo as "locked."  Anyone know if it is a problem of LR or Sony?

I have a Nikon D40, which has no problem downloading RAW images on my LR 4.4.

    Thanks for any help!

Sony Alpha 6000 raw files require at least 5.4 of Lightroom.

You need to upgrade, Lightroom, or use the free Adobe DNG Converter 8.6 version to convert your RAW to DNG and then import them into Lightroom.

  • Saving raw images to a CD/files are too big!

I was the second shooter at a wedding, and the main photographer asked me to send my raw images directly to her for treatment. Music to my ears like less work for me!

However, when I went to burn my 1800 more pictures on a CD, I realized the files would fill more CD seems a little crazy 20.

Beyond the use of an FTP site send them (which I think would have similar size problems) is there a way to "zip" or "Compress" these files on a CD and have still images come as full size, raw images?

As www.rapidshare.com service will allow you to upload files up to 200 MB without pay or registering, so if you can ZIP or stuff the RAWs in archives less than 200 MB in size, then you could download these via the site Rapidshare and the main photographer should be able to download them.  A program like WinRAR will be split into one archive important into pieces of any size you want.  The downside to this, of course, is that there are likely to be 60-80 200 MB involved ZIPs so it could be tedious for you to download and upload them, one by one.

If not, in the same direction are his initials ask, if this is an option, a recorders DVD double layer are available and will store about 9 GB per disc.  I recently picked up a USB external DL burner for under $ 90.  You must check in with her if she can read the DVD, of course.

Or 16 GB SDHC cards are cheap enough, at least online, and you could put them all on one of these and post it.

    Hi André,.

You can try adding the following to your CSS file to the body selector:
    border: 0px;

This will set all borders to zero pixel and then you can add borders to
the items you need them later.

    Hope that helps.

  • In what color space is LR mobile make the raw images share?

The title says pretty much all this.  I installed LR on my iPad, import raw images captured with the Camera Connection Kit, previously made some changes and exported jpg by email to myself.  The files come into Photoshop as "mystery meat", i.e. without embedded profile, or even an exif tag.  I'm probably leaving sRGB, but it would be useful that Adobe would include at least the color space tag in the exported file.

    Hey Richard Southworth,.

Your assumption is correct. They are sRGB.

  • I have a problem for editing raw images in CS6 Adobe Bridge camera

When I right click on a raw image in Bridge CS6 and choose "Open in raw" I get a slightly different edition format compared to when I double click on the same raw image.

Right click gives me the following settings options: temperature, tint, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, white, black, clarity, Vibrance and Saturation

Double click gives me a message "convert to the 2010 process.  When I click on that, I have the following setting options: temperature, tint, exposure, recovery, fill, black light, brightness, contrast, clarity, Vibrance, Saturation.

I prefer the adjustment tools provided with the right click option.  : However, after I do the image settings using this option and I click on "Open image", the image disappears and open Photoshop, but there is no picture.  I'm fairly certain that I used this option right-click before and after adjustment of the image and clicking on 'Open image' image appeared in Photoshop where I could make a further editing and/or save in JPEG.  But no more.  What is the problem?  I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you kindly in advance for your comments of support.

    Baker

You should not see this difference by double-clicking just by right clicking. What you mentioned by right clicking is the old Camera Raw and is no longer used. The new way is actually much better, even if it takes a bit to use to. I didn't like it at first, but now I find much better, there are a few problems with fixes that work much better with the new method. Normally you won't get the old method, if a file has been fixed with it. You can reset the image on the failure to have the new method to take effect.

  • Hello everyone, I'm having a problem at the opening of the RAW images in Photoshop...

Hello everyone. I was just trying to work on some on my Photoshop & from their opening RAW images, I get the message: If you try to open a file from a digital camera raw, make sure that you have the latest camera raw update installed via help > updates... (but when I go to help, it does not give me these options). I use a canon 6 d and it shows that it should support the minimum CR sheet in version 7.3. Please let me know if anyone of you knows how to solve this problem, thanks

    Hi Helen,

Go to the list of system information that Chris mentioned and under required plugins that camera raw should be listed. You can see I'm version 9.5, but as you use CS6 you can use the version the most recent is 9.1. Your camera requires a minimum of version 7.3 so if you get the 9.1 version then it should work without a doubt.

I don't know if you have a Mac or Windows machine then here are the download links for both. Do not be tempted to try v9.5 as her for CC only. As Chris pointed out you lack a lot of updates and you can find the camera raw 9.1 will not work until they are installed, but there is not much to lose by installing v9.1 and just see if it works.

    Hope that helps
