  I am currently not able to get the images to download automatically in the mail I receive on my 8220. I set up the phone to do this, but I still have to manually retrieve the images which he does very well. I have the latest version of the software on the phone and the desktop computer. I also tried a battery pull and return service directories. Nothing works. What else is there? I even treid calling my BB Tech support to the carrier and they are pretty useless. I know them (don't know what an image included is for the love of pete).

  In a formatted HTML email, you must click on Menu > get Images in order to recover the images.

  If you have Messages > Options > e-mail settings > download Images automatically set to YES, you will notice over time that some images will appear automatically (for example, weekly newsletters receive you with common images each week), but otherwise, you have to click on get Images of individual emails.

  I went to go and look at my pictures in the pictures library, and all I can see is photo for all my photos and not the actual images icons.  It shows me that I have more than 100 pictures, but I can't view.  How can I solve this?

  Trying to transfer media files to your media to a PC card or reformat the card.

  You need the BlackBerry data service on your line.  You will need to associate your BlackBerry with your data service account.  And the service books must be pushed and received by the device.  Sounds complicated but it isn't.   Talk to your service provider.  Make sure you have a regular signal good mobile network if you receive service books.   Then use the configuration of e-mail again and you will see the option to add the Internet e-mail.

  It is either active or not active. Looks like you are.

  The best solution for communication errors is to restart... Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Get on the MTS agent's phone, or another and explain to them that THEY have to 'COMMUNICATE' this problem until the RIM level tech support, RIM technical support level two. Use these words... Ask., so require, make them do. They need to "intensify" their problem they have caused RIM to determine if RIM can UN-make their mistake.

  You pay MTS technical support with your monthly contract. Require it. Don't let them push you here where they know we cannot fix their mistake.

• 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

  I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

  About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

  My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

  I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

  I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

  You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.

  OK, so I got my replacement phone in the mail today and I have configured my hotmail email account. Someone sent me an email that contains what is supposed to be a link but my blackberry will not let me click on it.   When I go in my browser and click the menu button, it gives me the options to refresh, home, back, return, etc. but it will not give me the option "go to" and type in a web address. I looked and looked, but I don't know why he won't give me an option to go to any web site I want. one I had before, exact model, gave me the opportunity to enter a web address. so if you can help that would be great thank you

  Have you tried to remove the battery to reboot the device?  Also, go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Press the menu button and select "save now".

  Hi everyone, I recently downloaded a trial version of a program to allow me to see the images in my emails. The program has created a cache folder that had images in there that were currently in my e-mails. I did not like the program so I deleted it from my BB. I also deleted the cache folder it created. The cache file was alongside where are stored my personal and preloaded. But I think he took my photos with her theme. Because today, I tried to change the theme on my BB but would not load the appropriate background image. Should I reload my OS?   When read and send an email you can scroll it by moving your finger up to down along the touchscreen. If you want to read the following message in your message list just quickly move your finger on the right side of the screen on the left side of the screen... almost as if you're turning to the next page. You can also flip pages reverse the path.

  BTW, this also works in the image viewer to moving back and forth between the images in your list.

  Another nice thing is if you want to see all the message with the same topic... or by the same author, you can touch the message without click and wait a second or towing. A strong blue moves in any of the header and then filter your message list by topic or authoer (that you talked about as close to)
