Links in email blackBerry Smartphones are disabled, how able to them?

OK, so I got my replacement phone in the mail today and I have configured my hotmail email account. Someone sent me an email that contains what is supposed to be a link but my blackberry will not let me click on it. It is written in ordinary writing, I assusing that the links are disbled on my email settings but I have no idea how to turn them on? any ideas? Thank you

also if anyone can help me with that too...

When I go in my browser and click the menu button, it gives me the options to refresh, home, back, return, etc. but it will not give me the option "go to" and type in a web address. I looked and looked, but I don't know why he won't give me an option to go to any web site I want. one I had before, exact model, gave me the opportunity to enter a web address. so if you can help that would be great thank you

Have you tried to remove the battery to reboot the device?  Also, go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Press the menu button and select "save now".

How can I remove them? Why are they anyway? They are 3 codes out of the app I have on my system?

They are active, most likely in Firefox. Especially things like Flash and silverlight. As a guest post Thunderbird doesn't allow plugins and pose a risk to security. But as they are already installed, they are disabled by default.

  • BlackBerry smartphones are not emails

As of this morning, I receive emails on my phone.  I have two accounts e-mail set up on my phone and no one receives e-mails.  I know I should be because I get them on my laptop.  I can send emails from an account, but I can't receive them.  I contacted AT & T (my service provider) and they couldn't help me.  They gave me a number of support for Balckberry (877-255-2377), but I was unable to get through.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for official support... but...

It's very very interesting... I suspect the one who talked you to ATT was not (I'll be gentle) adequate training. Contractually, end users have no way to try to contact BlackBerry directly for anything (well, not for free). Rather, the carrier should worsen your BlackBerry case and provide you more information (for example, a file number)... but just to give you a phone number means (I'm sorry), the person gave you att, because this isn't how the support system. And it's actually a bit surprising... all the reports I've heard indicate ATT to get a best trained support groups for BB to anyone... but maybe they skate.

In any case, if the above does not work, their ring upwards and insist that they solve it correctly. Emphasis first to be transferred to the personal support of BB dedicated ATT (I think they have such a group) because it is also a mandatory step before be remounted for BlackBerry (but correctly... not the way you describe).

    Good luck!

  • Multiple emails blackBerry Smartphones

I have several e-mail addresses, and I would like to know how to configure them each so that the email address is the same if I am on the phone or in my computer. Is one of my emails on a server of Cox and other 2 are on separate servers.

I currently have it set up to receive a forwarded copy of my cox email, but if I replied to the email or need to send an email just my black berry.net enamel. I need to be the email, he was transferred as if I was in my office.

    Thanks in advance.

You can access your configurations of BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) via a browser/PC or via the interface for device... the result is the same. The only difference is that with the first method you have a keyboard full size and monitor to work with, rather than the device screen. It's your choice, what method to use, the result will be the same.

Except - to use the PC/browser method, you must associate a BIS account (with the login) on your device PIN - because, through this method, may not know what device you are using. After that, you can also use these credentials on your device - but there is a checkbox to ICT which allow your device interface to remember the credentials then out... so you no longer have to type these credentials on the device once.

To use the PC/browser method, find your carriers site connection BRI here:

OK, if you can, try the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) dial * 228 and select option 1. Then he recompose and select option 2.

  • Scroll of blackBerry Smartphones are becoming very difficult to "BOLD" (with a pad, not a scroll wheel)

    Hello

Scrolling became very difficult in my "BOLD", but it has a pad, not a scroll wheel, so I can't follow the spoken wheel and push solution previously in these forums.

The symptoms are that it is difficult to get the cursor to move to the left or to the right or upwards or downwards, sometimes that it moves more easily than other times, but never as easy as it was until last week. What often happens is that I end up pressingteh pad too hard trying getting the top of the page to save the movement and thus itreads as a click instead.

I tried to clean the buffer, cleaning of my thumb or finger, battery-out-restarted "BOLD" of countless times, tried with my fingers wet and dry...

It seems that she has changed after an update has been downloaded, but maybe it's just my perception.

In any case, what could be the problem and what is the solution please?

    Hello qw8,

    Welcome to the forums.

Take a look at the knowledge base article below which may help you with your trackpad problem.

I hope this helps. Nice day.

  • BlackBerry Messenger Blackberry Smartphones - are encrypted messages?

    Hello

I was wondering if the messages I send to another contact with Blackberry messenger are encrypted or not? I was looking for this online and all I could find is that the blackberry Messenger is a wrapper of BB-PIN messaging. PIN messages are supposed to is not encrypted from what I could find online - which would mean that BBM messages are not too... I'm just guessing?

    Thank you

Yes, BlackBerry Messenger is encrypted from end to end, because it uses the PIN messaging as its transport.

All traffic is exclusively on the RIM infrastructure and it never leaves.
All BlackBerry devices share a common encryption key that is used for this purpose.
