  Hello

  For some people, the link between iPhone and Mac for Forwarding text (which works in both directions) can break.

  Things to check: -.

  (1) iPhone and Mac are still on the same LAN

  (2) that the iPhone displays the Mac which should get the sent items

  In case of doubt deletion the Mac in the list.

  Leave the little transfer of text then reset so that the Code number will appear again on the Mac.

• Cannot send SMS to users no iMessage!

  This is probably my fourth post on this same issue that nobody is to give me an answer, or telling me to try something that I said did not work.

  I have an iPhone 6s with MetroPCS, for someone who is not using iMessage, the 'Add photos' icon is grayed out and it won't let me even to send an attachment. Before the last update, I was able to select the "Add attachments" button, but it is still impossible to send to the other person. I can't receive messages from group to anyone, unless they are all using iMessage, also to receive photos of users who are also no iMessage. iMessage is turned on, and I tried it works and stop. SMS is selected. I tried to take the sim card out, turning the phone, return, and reinsert the sim card and which worked for only 5 minutes, before aging again on the attachment button Add.   I understand that you have difficulties to send SMS and MMS messages or receive group messages since you last updated your iPhone.   Your profile says you are using iOS 9.3.  You have updated to the latest version, which is iOS 9.3.1?  Once you have done this, the next step would be to see if MetroPCS has updated their software. given that the SMS and MMS messages must go through their system.

  If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  Restart your device and check for updates

  1. Restart your device.
  2. Looking for a carrier settings update.

  If messages will not send to a certain person or you need assistance with group messages

  Sometimes it will not send your messages to a particular contact, or you might have problems with Group Messaging. For example, you could meet a group conversation and receive your own message. Or you could get a new phone number and see your old listed as a recipient in an existing group conversation.

  Delete the conversation * who has the problem and start a new conversation:

  1. Open your Messages and view your list of conversations.
  2. Straight shot left on the conversation you want to delete. Then, remove faucet.
  3. Open your Messages, type and enter the phone number or email address of your contact or contacts.
  4. Write a new message and press send.

  * When you delete a conversation, you will not be able to recover. If you want to save parts of conversations or their attachments, you can take screenshots. You can also tap a bubble attachment or message, and then tap more > save.

  I have a 4 s used to synchronize with my mini Ipad and my macbook pro. all devices have the latest update. now, my message is not sync.

  If you don't receive your bank SMS text messages, take a look at the troubleshooting steps in this article.  Make sure that your bank details are in your Contact app and it is not on the blocked list.  Click on the link below for more details.  I've highlighted a few key points for you.

  Last week, text messages I receive are not appearing in Messages on my iMac running el capitan.  It seems that my iMac will not show messages from others using iOS because all of the texts have the blue background.  My iPhone 6 and Apple Watch will show me all the received texts, even the most 'green' a person outside the ecosystem.  I confirmed that show the preferences on my iMac that join me by my phone number and my apple id email address.  On my iPhone, I confirmed that the transfer of SMS is activated for my iMac.

  I'm not 100% sure, but I think that has happened after my iPhone update 6 and Apple Watch to the most recent update.

  According to Messages (El Capitan): get and send SMS messages it sounds as if you already set up correctly the text message forwarding, and it should work exactly as you describe.

  That really should be all it takes, so by way of troubleshooting, I suggest you focus on the iPhone because I suspect that that is where the problem may lie: Unlike an iMessage, SMS messages are 'transmitted' from it to Messages of your Mac app, and apparently happening.

  Try the usual methods of iOS, e.g. restart the iPhone If you don't have it already. Toggle the selection of 'text messages transfer' of your iMac. Review the requirements of the SMS of the following section: continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPod touch and Mac - Apple Support.

  That's all I can say for now. While this works for me, it could certainly be a bug introduced in the last update that does not affect everyone also.
