imgSessionSerialReadBytes causes timeout (re-post in appropriate thread)

Hello I'm trying to control a device called "Cedip Titanium", it is an older version of the http://www.flir.com/thermography/eurasia/en/content/?id=11354. The following code generates a timeout error:

The last line (imgSessionSerialReadBytes) freezes during the time specified in the timeout (a really high timeout setting does not help) and then he returned the error code:-1074397037 (IMG_ERR_SERIAL_READ_TIMEOUT). Passage to imgSessionSerialRead results in the same error as imgSessionSerialReadBytes. Manufacturing did not any file from camera to load in the measurement and automation, so I had to create my own following standards from the manufacturing: "The speed of transmission of communication camera can be defined by orders. Cirrus tries to establish communication to the highest possible baud rate. There are 57000 or 115000 according to the length of the cable. The camera is initiated to the power upward with 9600bds, 8 bits, 1 bit of high, no HW or SW control bit. » I also tried to change some of the settings (ect buad rate) with no luck. Try to send a command using the test-thing under the series settings in the tool OR Camera File generator always returns a table (8192 bytes) containing \x00\x00\x00... (so basically, an empty array is returned). I read a few other posts on this forum, most of them indicate you should add an endpoint-char. The Protocol specifies a stop bit 0 x 03 who should be added at the end of each packet. I tried to add, but it didn't matter, and what I've read, imgSessionSerialReadBytes ignores the chariot of retirement anyway. I use the 1427 grabber (PCI-express) card which runs under 64-bit Win2k8. I tried to solve it by myself for a few days, but I'm out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Best regards, Olof |
Problem solved. The baud rate should have been instead of 9600-115200.

Sansa Fuze does not turn. * Officially solved! See post 7 in thread for answer! *
OK, so I put a video that I made using the Sansa Media Converter. I made the video in one. AVI using SUPER and put the file in SMC. I waited on hidden. I'll be back and conversion was hung and stopped at 74. It wasn't a huge deal. It's happened before. I decided to come back in a bit to see if it continues the conversion. When I came back, my drive was off and the percentage bar had not moved. I removed the player and tried to turn it on. It turned on and "refreshed media." Immediately after, however, it stops immediately. I tried a soft reset (button / waiting for 15-60 seconds) and he came for a few seconds only to stop again. More funny thing is though, it actually stopped by itself. He even went to the screen 'goodbye'. Now it won't even turn. He lights and turn off by itself. Sometimes I can turn on soft reset, only that it is black screen. Even when I plug it to my computer, it will be either turn on, black screen after a few seconds or not at all.

Firmware: 1.01.15
Please, I beg you. This will be my second player perfect condition which has out crapped on my Sansa. I had an e2600 who had a hard drive failure after only 8 months. If I have a solution that States "buy a new player", I'm afraid I have to leave Sansa.

Very well. I think I finally found the problem of this. The problem seems to lie in the SCM. It seems very harmful effects if during a conversion process, the computer transfers to virtual memory. An update of the firmware seems to correct this problem. Again, I will never video convert on this computer.

Monitor poster No. signal then goes to sleep
I don't know if I write this problem in the right category but that's.
Lately, whenever I turn on my computer (Pavilion Elite m9291d), my (HP w2207h) display will show a message "not - no Signal, HDMI - VGA signal". "." Then the monitor goes to sleep and blackens. I have to restart 8 times or more, and only by chance I could access my computer.
Yesterday, I managed to go to the HP online support and to go to the control panel (in Classic view), go to the option to, and click "NEVER" in the screen and the computer advised to sleep options. Then after you save the settings, I'm supposed to go to Device Manager and disable the mouse and keyboard. After that, I have to restart my computer.
Some can please help me and enlighten me with a few questions:
(1) why didn't I go to "Classic view" and not the normal display of Vista?
(2) if it is the problem of the screen, then why do I have to uninstall the keyboard and mouse?
(3) Will cause the Vista Live Update upset to the setting of the computer?
I have not tried the above steps again because today, I managed to get into the computer by chance. Help, please.

You wrote that you already checked the keys in your post in another thread, however, debugs always complain of bad keys. Could check you it again. During configuration of key, do not copy and paste.

These are two different directions.
The first can be used on the pages of the forum if you have connected and your user name displayed (instead of connection) with a drop-down list that appears if you click your name.
The second direction works for pages to index forum having my Contributions link in the drop-down list sort and filter (second column: Show > my Contributions).I see only this question and answer that you have posted in another thread. There is no second question asked on 17 August.

How can I post a reply to a question, that I initiated?
I asked trying to get firefox to start yesterday. Got a post that does not solve the problem for me. Whenever I go to post a reply, I am told to select a topic, which I guess means clicking on radio buttons, but no matter what that one I hit post will not send.

I don't know, but let me see if I understand what you're asking. You do not want to see the thread you have with a particular contact when you go to send them another message? The only way to do this is to remove the previous message thread. If you send a message to someone that you already have a thread of conversation with, it will continue to post in this thread. There is no such thing as having multiple threads with the same person. All conversations with the same person would remain in the same thread, unless you remove the previous discussions. If you delete your previous conversation, when you go to start a new conversation, he won't have any of the other answers.

Cannot get SetEndOfFile (or whatever it is in kernel32.lib) to post a link
I'm looking for truncating a file using the SDK SetEndOfFile function. Basically, I try to recreate the code that RobertoBozzolo has posted in this thread. I use CVI 2015 and 8.1 SDK.
I have consulted the SetEndOfFile of Microsoft documentation and I realized I needed to include fileapi.h, so I did. According to this page and the help topic "Availability of the SDK" CVI, SetEndOfFile figure in kernel32.lib. I've added this library to my project and then tried to build. Unfortunately I started having connection errors:
error: Undefined symbol "_SetEndOfFile", a reference (as well as the symbols not defined for _CreateFileA and _GetLastError)
All these functions must be in kernel32.lib. The CVI help topic also lists these functions as being in mincore.lib, so I tried to add to my project. Still no luck with the two mincore and kernel32.lib or only mincore.lib. It seems that everything which is supposed to be available in kernel32.lib does not work.
So I decided to try and add EACH lib in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows"... all 450 of them. After that the CVI has frozen for a good 20 seconds, all libraries have been added and these symbols were still undefined.
I'm not quite foreign with Java SDK. This same exact project is successfully using a bunch of functions of WinInet.lib without problem, the same exact path. I feel that I am probably doing something stupid, but I can't understand what it is.
Figured it out. It was a problem of command include, associated with the Toolbox. This order did not work:

Can't post the images/JPEG to WordPerfect10
Power outage: WordPerfect10 accepts only 75% of the image. The other 25% is blackened to jet black. We have resized the image 12 times / 12 different sizes without change for the better. The problem is "intermittent" Monday it will work once every 20 attempts and Tuesday it won't work at all.
