• Speech recognition Profile Import Export problem

  I have problems to import a profile that I put in place.  I'm upgrading my hard drives often, so I'm always import and export of different profiles.  I have run the little program "Speech Profile Manager" and I export my profile (by default and only one), but when I go on the new computer, same version of vista and everything, I get huge errors and it does not matter.  This is how it goes down:

  I have not a single program open, just after a clean boot:

  1. I run the speech profile manager

  2. I click on "Import", I find the file to import and say OPEN.

  3. it is said so "do you wish the profile imported by default?"  I click Yes

  4. He said to them 'the microphone settings must be granted before use... You want to now? "I click Yes.

  Speech at startup and then switch to sleep mode and that this error pops up:

  WARNING: Engine target () of the profile is not available.

  Profile data has been imported, but won't work for the missing engine.  If you install the engine at a later date, please fun the microphone Wizard.

  And then 1 million errors is the first:

  "ERROR: cannot create (Files\1033\L1033.tpc) key in the registry." Please make sure that the speech is installed and that no programs that use speech (for example) are open, and then try again.

  If I say no the Microphone Wizard, I get an another huge list of errors, but a different number:

  "ERROR: cannot create the key (Files\TrainingAudio-0409-10C902C1-A71A1D60) in the registry." Please make sure that the speech is installed and that no programs that use speech (for example) are open, and then try again.

  I don't even have office on this computer.  Profile is certainly not the profile, I spent months tweaking. It's a blank profile.

  I tried Yes and no on each option, micro USB plugged out, jack mic 1/8 '' plugged in, I tired it work on 3 different Installations of Vista. I tried to re - export profile several times. I get a similar set of mistakes every time.

  The software that you are using was built in fact older versions of Windows and is not listed as compatible with Windows Vista. I apologize because I was under the impression that you imported files to an old Windows XP system running the Tablet PC edition or Office 2003 because the error indicating "target engine () of the profile is not available." and the use of the older tool.   Speech recognition Profile Manager tool is now obsolete, because vocal training files can now be migrated using the Easy Transfer Wizard. The wizard is available for Windows XP via download and integrated in all Installations of Windows Vista.

  To transfer voice (including the training files) user profile settings, please perform the following steps:

  -Click on the ORB start and type EASY in the search bar, click Windows Easy Transfer icon that appears - this will launch the wizard:

  

  -Click Next - select start a new transfer
  -Choose my old computer
  -Choose to use a CD, DVD, or other removable media (even to memorize the settings on the local hard disk)
  -Select the external hard drive or to a network location (even memorize settings on the local hard disk)

  

  -Under Choose a network location, you can use the parameter to copy the files to your local hard drive by default:

  

  -Choose any user account or my user account
  -If you make a transfer from one account to another on the same computer or on a single account on another computer, then you choose the my account of yser option

  -Choose advanced options will give you the choice to transfer only specific items in your account
  -You can use this for example to transfer only files sounds and speech recognition and clear all other check boxes
  -Once your choice, click on the wizard checks to see what items are able to transfer
  -At this point, you will notice that all the items that are selected to be transferred, by default all data application, Documents, items of office and preferences, Internet Explorer, and Windows settings are selected whose sounds and speech recognition:

  
   
  -Here you can choose again customize to select specific items you would like to be transferred after clicking on the transfer of your objects will be stored at the selected location

  -To import all items to another profile on the same computer or on another computer, you will need to re-run the wizard and select a current transfer and a new computer, and then point to the location of the files previously exported.

• No option to import/export in the contacts folder

  My CONTACTS folder has no Import / Export options display. However if I create a new folder under the folder CONTACTS these options are there in this new folder.

  If I delete the CONTACTS folder, create a new folder and rename - no still no import / export.

  If I right click in an empty space in the right pane of the CONTACTS folder as suggested on the Microsoft site there is no "customize this folder" as I am told to wait.

  It seems that there is only a permit CONTACTS folder and deleted if its properties are lost - but reappear in any regeneration. Weird.

  Any help welcome.

  Problem solved.

  I had a shortcut on my desktop in my contacts folder.

  I deleted the contacts folder and the new subfolder.

  I created a new folder under my user name and renamed him CONTACTS.

  I then consulted the file to the shortcut on the desktop and... LO AND BEHOLD the import / export options are back!

  As I had a recent .csv file I imported which and I'm now a happy chappy.

• Connecting more than one import export even

  Is it a good idea (to save time) to run that many imports (against a different database of course) the same value van export files, using import/export utility Datapump?

  I mean from several orders impdp using the same on different databases dump file.

  I assumed you would be explicitly name the log file for each separate so task would not a problem - you can even separate the log file in a separate Directory from the dumpfiles using the DIR:file syntax - should not be the same directory as the dumpfiles.

  If you tried to use the same log file then they would probably crush each other data or you will get a file very messy - but I don't think that jobs would fail...

  I worked a request and had a problem.  I moved it to apex.oracle.com so that you, the experts could see my problem.  One of you did, THANK YOU, and now I want to go back the page assigned to my local workspace.  I tried to export the page and got a sql file on my local machine.  When I tried to import it, I got an error:

  This page has been exported from another application or application in the different workspace. Page cannot be installed in this application.

  
  

  Then I exported the application full apex.oracle.com (an abridged version of my original CD) and it imported successfully to my local workspace.  I then exported fixed a problem page, deleted the page of my original app (there were the same number of page) and I tried to import it.  I got the same error when importing.

  Page level import/export using the App Builder is possible between separate instances where the request and workspace have the same ID.

  It can be done in SQL * Plus, or using SQL Developer apex_application_install API, but generally it is easier to simply import the entire application and copy the page between applications. To a page in the application, select Create > new page as a copy, copy the apex.oracle.com application page.

• -Dashboard - content cannot create/delete/import/export dashboards

  (1) Just deployed my first instance 2777062 vRops 6.0.2 (master node).

  Connect with the admin user, or any other user, I have create which has all permissions to content, I don't see the create/delete/Import/Export 'Actions' in view 'content-> dashboard.

  The only actions, I see are reorganize/autoswitch, managing analytical dashboards share dahsboars. Add dashboards for the House and remove the dashboards of the home is greyed out...

  In views, reports I see these actions.

  Ask yourself what is the problem, because as an administrator, I should be able to do everything?

  I tried to create a new user with the role of ContentAdmin as well.

  (2) another question: can I create a role in vROps and have it propagated in the global permissions in vCenter Server tab, so I can assign this custom group to users? Seems that the default groups are available in the "Global" section in vCenter SErver.

• project import/export with child components

  We are at ODI 10.1.3.5. We exported again project with children DEV instance components and wanted to import the XML file that was exported in the TEST instance using the synonym INSERT mode. We have some of the interfaces whose names are identical in the different old project instances DEV and TEST. If import us the new XML project file in the TEST instance with synonym INSERT, it causes a problem? What is the best approach to deal with import/export between different instances when the object names are the same between projects? I would be grateful if someone responds with suggestions.

  It is not really important that the names are the same. Each object in ODI is assigned a unique object ID and this is what is used when an import is performed in order to determine the measures taken in the repsitory of the target. As long as this ID does not match an ID that already exists in your target repository, then you will be ok if you use synonym insert, although I suggest using synonym Insert/Update. Part of the object ID is the ID of the repository that being exported from the origin, so as long as you repsitory unique ID across your environments (basic good practices), you should not type any important issue-based.

• 10.1-> 11 g via import/export, not DBUA - notice?

  We have a 10.1.0.4 database which is rather simple: tables, indexes, sequences, and that's it. No user PL/SQL or Java - fairly simple stuff.
  
  We must move to GR 11, 1 material and my plan was to build a new database of 11 GR 1 material, export patterns of the 10.1 database and import them into the new. It is not a large amount of data. This also has the advantage of having the two available DBs at the same time (old and new).
  
  A colleague attended a local Oracle conference and the presenter said about ten times "If you're going to upgrade, you MUST use DBUA! Very important! You will have big problems if you do not! "Then, he wants to use DBUA. My opinion is that we are not 'modernize' but rather export/import and it is conceptually very simple.

  If you know exactly the content of your drawings, it is easy to import/export and check the result.

  As you say, by export/import, you can compare 2 databases and control how your application works on the new database.

  I did several migrations and, so far, has no need to use DBUA.

  I understand that for a large (or complex) database DBUA may be the best way, but for a simple and small database, I'd rather import/export too.

• Import/Export xls error

  I am facing a problem with import/export of xls files.
  Once I selected the system file does return no response even if the file is very small (about 70 KB).
  Sometimes time workbench and web.

  Looks like you have an installed Excel add-in. Remove any SmartView Hyperion/Essbase Add-ins of FDM Excel server.

  Great beginning and ensure without supplements are there and try again your process.

  If add-ins to exist, it will be the blocking behavior you're describing.

  Support FDM team is first-rate and Metalink entries are really good too.

• Import/Export DataPump for refreshing production ERP test

  Hi all
  
  We have 11i Oracle applications running on AIX 5.3ML8 production and test. The production is autonomous with the basic 10.2.0.4 and test is RAC with database version 10.2.0.4.
  
  Now the question is that we intend to update the Test with production every night. We plan to use Datapump Import/Export for that. I just wanted to know from you guys, if any body has a bad experience using this utility with ERP.

  I am sensitive on the use of export/import to me because someone told me that with ERP type database we should not use Export/Import, although he was not able to specify the exact reason for this. Y at - it no problem using Import/Export the ERP database refresh?

  Using import/export is supported with Oracle Apps database (for the database full exp/imp and certain patterns such as custom). The Apps schema, I think that it is not supported due to the dependencies of the object and the integrity constraints. However, you can open an SR to confirm this with the support of the Oracle.

  First of all, I didn't have the problems you have.

  With LCM you can break down what you want to migrate to a deeper level, for example, you can migrate the menus, smart lists. With the other utilities planning you do not get this feature.

  LCM willl be developed and improved, it should be to fix the bugs over time. I can see the current utilities in the future and LCM being the main source of imporiting/export.

• Import/export tools is missing under tools in my recent Thunderbird download, where can I find?

  On my computer 1 on the toolbar of Thunderbird I scroll through the menu of the tool and the last message is import/export tool. When I am installing Thunderbird on my computer 2 and look at the menu of the tool the last message is 'Alternativ' import/export tool is missing. How do I get it on this menu.
  The two computer has the same version 31.6.0

  The only tools I know with imports and exports, as separate elections, is in the address book window. Tools in the main window always has only one import choices.

• How can I keep IE and FireFox Favorites in local sync to my PC only, without the use of an external server or import/export?

  FireFox Sync is not an option, because the use of an external server is not allowed.
  Use of third-party modules is not really an option.
  Import/export is inefficient because it is not put them in the same exact place in every browser.

  I am happy to be able to use the same favorites/bookmarks file if it is an option.

  Sorry, IE and Firefox use different methods of storage Favorites / Bookmarks to data that are not compatible with the other program.

• recorded 60 p video import/export company

  Been recording and download of 60i HD images in Final Cut Pro X successfully for years. Thinking about conversion HD 60 p for some work of the company. When I changed the setting on my camcorder to 60i at 60 p today, I got a warning message about this recording format is not not compatible with some import/export formats. I've also seen the available recording time memory card reduced from 7 1/2 hours to only 2 1/2 hours.

  What of the 60 p able to be imported into FCPX for editing images? Do I need other software encoding? OK to export? I would like to get additional information on this if possible. Thank you.

  It would be useful to know the exact device you're talking about.

  60i is a stupid convention adopted by the camera companies to specify 60 frames of half resolution, two fields make a full frame. 60i is correctly 29.97i, which is the correct cadence, no 60, or 30. 60 p is actually 59,94 complete images and therefore takes more data to record material which is half of the cadence. It will also use a high data rate to achieve the same level of apparent quality.

  You don't need anything extra to work with media 59,94. Keep in mind the output files will be at a high data rate and take more space.
