  I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer that seems to have lost perhaps a part and the mechanism of paper collection has stopped working. I'll help you as best I can.

  I checked the list of replaceable parts for this printer and who find that the mechanism of collecting paper is not a replaceable piece by customer. If the printer is broken, a replacement may be your only option.

  I suggest you contact HP support. They could have an option to replace/upgrade the printer that you could save a few dollars to the retail costs.

  I have not had any problems using the printer or scanner on the HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more when I had my old laptop to Windows 7. There was some HP software installed from a CD that allowed me to open the HP application and adjust the settings for scans, save multiple scans in a single PDF etc...

  Since switching to a new Mac OSX desktop computer, I can't install it whatever that either the old CD from my Mac has no CD/DVD drive. The only application of HP on my Mac is now HP ePrint, and which does not seem to offer something to scan with.

  The other option that have left me is to connect the Mac to the printer by USB, then choose:

  Scan > computer > iMac > save in Jpeg.

  But I get the following error message:

  "Connection error".

  The connection to the computer is down or HP scanning application cannot detect the OCR software. Check the computer for more details".

  What do I need to install, or the difficulty to get the scanner to work on my Mac please?

  Work very well until the magenta cartridge was missing. Gone is where you will store got all new cartridges...

  Now the blue cartride does not print and it's new. Test page shows nothing - blank for this color = all others fine.

  Thanks for the help.  I had already used the function of print head cleaning, and he did note. I think I used all auto functions available and nothing has worked. So I removed the print heads, and against some inet warnings, wiped them, put their back makes it a hard reset and had a hammer ready to do the final solution. I looked up to the replacement cost of the print heads, then sought a new printer, that would be less than to change the printheads. Finally, in desparation, I turned it off and went to bed. Next day morning turned all back on and tried to print, and it has worked flawlessly.

  Not sure why the hard reset earlier did not work, but my getting little done sleep. Maybe I should officially recommend this...

  Hello Rocco,

  The HP All In One remote saves scans to an internal folder.

  For easy access to scans, you can click the settings of the app (the icon in the top right 3 points) and then select settings.

  Select sharing, from there you can choose to synchronize Documents and scans will be automatically uploaded to iCloud, then it will be available in your Photos app on the assumption that it is defined on the same iCloud account.

  I see that you are looking to copy a legal document size on printer all-in-one HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2645. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem.   If you try to copy a legal document size on the dish (glass), you will not be able to. Flat maximum scanning is: 216 x 297 mm (letter 8.5 x 11).

  That being said, you can copy legal size documents using the ADF (ADF). The ADF will automatically copy the legal size document, as long as you have legal paper loaded in the paper feeder.

• Differences in color when copying

  I work on a Mac and I've just updated for Illustrator CS5 to Illustrator CS6 and I notice a weird problem. I have a file that I created in CS5 that when I copy the work of a new file in CS6, the colors are totally different.

  I checked my preferences against those of a co-worker who got CS5, and as far as I know, everything is the same!

  I have attached a series of screenshots (below), using a file created in CS5 (lower picture), and what it looks like when it is copied to a new file (top image).

  Anyone has an idea why this is happening and what I can do about it? My client will not be too satisfied with my current results!

  If you use PMS colors and I bet you are the definitions have changed the CS6. Do a Google search.

  I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

  The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

  The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

  The printer prints very well, but in the end does not eject the book entirely.

  When a second sheet is printed, it hits the first sheet and causes a jam.

  Each time that a page is not completely eject, can you open the front/top of the printer and see anything blocking the page to eject?

  Follow the steps in the document, also located here, in the 8500 has paper jams.

  My 6600 Officejet gives a difference of size of paper when I try to copy in color or black.  It seems random to resize and crop when it does not copy.  I used with or without automatic charger.  I used both automatically detect the size of the paper and manually set to letter without change.  I cleaned the printer window.

  Scanner works fine with or without automatic charger.  Print from PC works fine.

  Put up-to-date driver.

  Does anyone have an idea how I could fix this?

  The solution is almost embarrassing, but I wanted to share in case where someone else it faces.

  While I was with support and get the serial number on the back, I noticed that the door was ajar.  I assumed that was my daughter who had to move today, so I succeeded him and got well wedged in the back of the printer.

  It turns out that the problem was that the door is ajar.  Which caused the paper mismatch error.

  I hope this helps someone else.

  I see that you have a problem with the text in small font on printed documents.  You say that this only happens when the navigation and printing from the internet.  What browser do you use?  (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

  Have you tried using another browser?  Normally this problem is the result of a problem of compatibility between the printer driver and the browser program.

  So, you can try using a different printer driver, such as the 990 c driver.  The other pilot should be able to go beyond the question of compatibility and printing back to normal when on the internet.  For more information on how to exchange for a different driver click here.

  The Officejet 8500 has individual inks with separate printheads and "plumbing" to connect.  It requires ink in all colors to keep the plumbing for all air and/or damage the printheads.

  Not the answer you want to hear, but you will need to replace the depleted cartridges.

  The here document contains information on how the ink is used, in the terminology of this page the Officejet 8500 is an IIC printer.

  I've been using "hp premium more photo paper glossy" and get very dark pictures.

  Before this printer, I used a Deskjet 5550 with the same paper and get great quality.

  Here a link to a page with an example of a good 4 X 6 photo paper, you can use with your printer.

  This type of paper is known to work very well.
